I won't defend the ending of JJK it is ass and Nobaras comeback and Yujo was some of the worst writing I have seen in a while, that said Gojo's offsceen death the and the Cullinggames arc wasn't as bad as people say IMO. First as for Gojo's death the shoking reveal that he died is way better than having him walk 2 steps getting bisected and die after the climatic announcement that Gojo basically won the chapter prior. And as for the Culling games it did have lots of fighting but it also set up a lot of stuff for the future (Sukuna-Angel conflict and why is called the fallen, Kenjaku being the parent of Yuji, the cursed realm, merger plotline, Kenjaku-Tengen-Sukuna relationship...) so it is an build up arc for the future, unlike Shibuya where the buildup prior pays off. The problem lies in the fact that the buildup never happens which makes this arc worse when thinking about it, basically every plotline, which all resolve or have something to do with Kenkjaku, get dropped and forgotten about leaving only Sukuna his fight and history and since his fight wasn't concluded well and his history (or the heian era in general) never really got shown making the entire half of JJK after Shibuya shit. For me the moment Kenjaku died by a dumb sneak attack of all things is the moment JJK went to shit the only really bad things before that were not having a lot of character interactions and the one month time skip.
killing gojo offscreen is simply something shocking for the sake of being shocking, no different to bringing nobara back the way it happened. just bad writing ngl
@@danlubezillagoleez7867very much different, I mean your literally talking about randomly arbitrarily bringing back Nobara vs Gege showing up Gojo’s corpse to take the audience off guard, which is a technique used all the time.
i'm rereading the manga and holy shit i was so angry at first because after slogging through what he has been putting out, i was so angry at how GOOD it was. i'm almost done with the culling games right now on my reread it really just confirms that the cracks started there. he has so many good seeds and foreshadowing he set up, for SOMETHING, but uhh... guess we'll never know because he's never made good on it. it really was gojo's death that acted as the breaking point for everything he'd ignored and it only got worse from there as it was on full display that he'd dropped off and was not only doing things for shock value (yuuta and gojo situation, nobara, just about anything you can think of), but that while there were undeniably good moments, that he did not spend the time in the transition scenes between fights to properly build them up. all we got were shoddy flashbacks that explained such thing was possible, but it felt like he was just trying to explain to us that it wasn't an asspull, all while making it seem like bullshit more and more. i feel like he dropped so much of what he was setting up so far back because it would have added good 50 plus chapters and from the little i can tell, it seems like he was burnt out and i don't blame him with the weekly schedule. but it hurts to go back and see what it could have been verses what it ended up being
So many unanswered stuff or am i just dumb? Where's Megumi? Where was Uta during the whole of Shibuya arc? Where's Maki? Why is the higher-ups accusing Gojo of participating in the whole Shibuya thing? How tf is one of the main characters (Nobara) dead just like that? Is Gojo seriously gonna be sealed the entire time? What's gonna happen to Sukuna and Yuji now that Yuji absorbed 10-11 fingers all at once and now has a total of 15 absorbed? What does Yuta mean by Yuji cut off Inumaki's arms bc i can't remember that happening (unless it was during Sukuna's rampage) Whose the blonde who "saves the day" anyways, we only saw her once in the hidden inventory and must all of a sudden trust her in helping out right at the end? She's a special grade sorcerer so where was she during the whole fight? Where was everyone, matter of fact, no way they only sent out Jujutsu High and Kyoto students (a few others) and expected them to deal with all of this alone? There wasn't even 1 special grade sorcerer the whole time (except Gojo but he doesn't count for obvious reasons and the blonde at the end bc she basically wasn't there the whole fight) Whose the one with white and red hair? Wtf is up with the whole "Choso is Yuji's older brother" situation? What's up with the person or thing inside of Geto's body? What was that girl with the cellphones technique that she was threatening Sukuna with it? How does Sukuna even have fire? Why is Megumi all of a sudden strong/stronger and how is one of his Shigigami taking on/giving Sukuna a fight? What was up with all the BS the higher-ups did that they said at the very end of the episode? The whole Megamaru situation was also just plain confusing. How did Mahito even kill Nobara in one hit? (If they explained it i probably didn't understand) Oh and this isn't apart of this season's questions but it's just in general, why doesn't Yuji have a technique? And if Sukuna never possessed him/if he never ate the finger, would he still be able to be a sorcerer? Also how can the higher-ups just casually say it's illegal to try and get Gojo unsealed when already, the whole situation has gone to pieces without him so can't they see the world needs Gojo? Yuta or Yuji or anyone else with potential to be as strong as Gojo isn't there yet of course so, why the hell is everyone not trying everything in their power to get Gojo unsealed? As this would solve most, to all their problems. Where'd Jogo even get the 10 fingers and how did those two girls know the location of another finger or two? Anyways i think that's all my questions, some of them might be useless or obvious but i just need to know lol
He did, but he regretted it afterwards, because he knew he fucked up :D That's why Gojo was sealed and later killed. Gege wasn't planning JJK long term, like Oda does with One Piece.
Bro we should have just seen uramae get too damaged or died and uramae froze hakari solid where his rct infinity wouod get him out gg. Even them breaking him out of it afterwards something like that
Did the guy at 8:30 really said that Demon Slayer was mid and considered good only because of the animations? I agree that Unfotable has some influence in the sucess of Demon Slayer, but Demon Slayer had a solid Storytelling and a good ending. Demon Slayer proved a Series can be short but still good. The big three are still uncontested, but compared to Demon Slayer, JJK was absolute garbage
I really belived that gege would actually give yuji flashback about what happened to gojo and maybe give yuji a hint or something before gojo ofscreen death.... How wrong i was...... The ending is really bad....for one of the most hyped manga series....

I mean the series is basically called sorcery fight, so it makes sense that it basically revolves around fights.
The off screen thing is annoying tho
lol I like that I’m going to now only refer to it as sorcery fight
