How to use some Leftovers or Orphan Blocks to make a Gift Bag - Quilting Tips & Techniques

Do you have some leftover orphan quilt blocks or fabrics? I seem to have lots! Here is a suggestion of how you could use some of them for a triangular shaped gift bag. Shown here using some orphan quilt blocks and small amounts of batting with a hook & loop fastener. There are so many ways that this bag could be used - for gifts, to hold something delicious .....make a long one suitable for a bottle or shoes, or a small one as a mug bag - so many possibilities....... Have fun!

These are really cool, I would definitely need to try them out! I think in addition to an easy opening of the bag, perhaps we can add a trim like a ribbon or bias tape to the edges of the bag. That way, fingers can hold on to them and pull them apart thus open the bag. You can also attach a name tag of the recipient and a message too!
