I know this is 3 years old but just had to comment how amazing your review was! I'm a professional MUA who was looking for visual swatches of this product to see if I wanted to add it to my kit. So well done. Thank you!
I am fair but always love your content. While I can't use your shades exactly, your skill and opinion help me so much in deciding where to spend my money. We don't have the same color of skin but I think we have similar skin types. But more than that, you are so knowledge and just fun to watch. Keep up the amazing work!!!
You are so AWESOME! Both sides look great to me. Your videos are much appreciated and so helpful. I purchased the medium 2. Not sure if that was a good idea for someone like me who’s just trying to get into contouring. Well…at least it’s a good amount so I can do a lot of practicing. I purchased her serum foundation in 16N and her blurring balm 07. The balm is EVERYTHING! I can finally do a no makeup look with her balm. In saying that, I will be purchasing the blurring balm in her universal color. I also (yes…I went nuts on purchasing her makeup), her Juice Boost (LOVE THIS STUFF), and a few of her veils. I need to remember with her products, a little really goes a very long way. I’m still working on using less foundation, since I ended up looking like a mess the first time I used it. Hope this helps someone.
Your skin was so beautiful and glowing at the beginning of this video that I thought you were already wearing foundation and highlight! Looking good, girl!
Great job on the description 😍 I’m a makeup artist and I was on the fence about these because I already have all DaNessa products but now I will be ordering these thank you girl!!
Danessas bronzers are almost perfect dupes for the old Chanell cream bronzer before they Re formulated it. So if you belong to the crowd who were not impressed with the new coconutty chanel formula - check out the Danessa Myricks bronzers. (It comes in two or three shades also, one of which was shown in the beginning of this video). ❣️
These products look beautiful. I have honestly been transfixed by her instagram demo, letting it play on loop a couple of times lol. Thank you for another excellent review and demo, Alicia!!
Yeah, this is the video that I was waiting for. She did the makeup on Outee hair's calendar.(2013/2014). It was mind blowing; how she used her creativity to tell their story!
I think the difficulty is that Dannessa's products have a learning curve, you've got to experiment with them to find out how to apply them, and this can discourage average consumers like myself. But once you have figured it out, they are beautiful ❤️
It looks great! I like to use her illuminating veil with the beauty oil under foundation because it’s somewhat thick. The oil thins it out and allows it to blend nicely.
This is the video I've been waiting for. I'm a late comer to Fenty's bronzers, so I'm so glad I waited before buying when I saw Danessa's release. But then I knew I was in trouble because I'd have to make some decisions. This was amazingly comprehensive and YOU JUST KNEW I was gonna be here with the screen shots. You are heeeeere for us. Honestly. Hands down my absolute fav channel, you just serving us thoroughness everytime
Hi Alicia, nice video, thanks!!!👍🤩🤩🤩🤩 Also the comparison with the TF contour palettes, very interesting! Do they blend as easy as the TF shade and illuminate palettes (they are my nr. 1 favorite: shade 1 in autumm/winter and shade 2 in spring/summer)? Beautiful video, and you look amazing🤩🤩🤩🤩, you're so creative always, like on one hand your nails different than the other, eyeshadow mostly different colours for each eye: i love that so much about you, you are so creative, and also so unique!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sending you lots of love and have a wonderful day!!!!🖐😘😘😘😘
Got to say, for the first time ever I'm a little ticked off with you Alicia. I've been trying, without success, to check out my purchase of medium 1 (from the only website I've found it on in the UK). Now, it seems, I HAVE to get medium 2 too! Please stop making everything look soooo gooood!! 😫🤣
I haven’t tried any DM products but I’ve been curious. This contour might be beyond my skill set but...I guess since it comes with so much product I’d have enough to practice a lot. 🙂 Thank you for the video.
Thanks for this video. I was hoping to get a good look at these and of course you come through. I want to get medium 3 after I work through my Fenty cream bronzer. I don’t know if I have enough self control to wait though. 😜
hi alicia, thanks for sharing the balm contours. i debated on whether or not to get these. thanks for showing the balms with her foundation. i had problems getting the foundation to work. i’m going to try again with an oil first.
Hi Alicia! I knew I was in trouble once you mentioned you picked up 3 of them!😆 3 is on its way to me but now I want 1&2! Excellent review! Lotsa love ❤️❤️❤️
Thank goodness for this review. I normally think of myself as light medium but I am an exact skin twin to Mel Thompson so I think these might be a bit too deep for me, although they look beautiful on you. If I try these I may go for lighter shades because this year I am determined to try more cream products despite my oily skin. Amazing review as always. Thank you Alicia 💕
Man i love this video. I've been going back and forth on the product although Fenty Teddy is SPOT ON for my skin tone. The yellowness and olive-ness are so dialed in for me. I don't really need the DM one that might translate redder on my skin!
Love this video! It was exactly what I wanted to see!! Love the screenshot tip! Allready tried to make it before you said it haha I have macchiato and teddy from Fenty and I want one from Danessa. But it’s hard to decide which colour. I don’t like to much warmt in mijn bronzer. Because everything I add on my skin tends to get warm. I have freckles and warmth in my skin. I prefer cooler bronzers. No orange. Which one from the 3 would you advice me? ;) And what is the difference in feeling with the Fenty one? And which one is more glowy? Fenty or Dannessa? 🤗
One of the biggest struggles I have is finding a contour that is appropriate for my tone, which is more olive GREEN undertone and I was hoping that Medium 1 would have that...But it turns out it doesn't. It is more warm which I have others of that are nice, but not my hopes, you know what I mean? Which is disappointing despite the excellent formula. But it means I will give Fenty's 'Teddy' a try for sure and keeping an eye on Danessa regardless! Maybe I'll get lucky!
First off, nails 😍 that blue is so bomb. The last few days I’ve been adding some DM goodies to my cart! I was going between Medium 3 and Deep 1...but I’m thinking I will def go with Deep 1 (I’m Fenty 385 for reference 😊). I’ve been really liking underpainting recently and the complexion look I can achieve with that method. I also want to pick up some color fixes, a vision flush or 2, and the mini dew wet balm set that comes with the oil! Great video, Alicia! Looking forward to the full face of DM video 😘
This looks great. I like the tones. It makes me think of Tom Ford. I like her products because it really feels like you are painting your face. Hmm, going to research some searches and see which colour would suit me best.
I'm frustrated because I'm trying to find a cream contour that's not too warm or orange on me. I quite like the Kevyn Aucoin one but it's powder and I'm wanting to try cream. I was hoping Danessa's would have a variety but I think her line tends to run warm... which I think is great for darker skin tones, and I'm happy about that... but I don't think it would look great with my skin tone. Any recs on neutral/cool tone cream contour? I'm quite fair with cool undertones
I do not 😪 I thought the general consensus of the product was that it wasn’t spectacular, and therefore skipped it. What have you heard? Or do you currently use it, and like it?
@@aliciaarcher I use it and love it but I have oily skin and I hesitate at any cream called "balm". I love the rare beauty blush but the new blush worries me too b/c it looks so wet. I love Dynessa's work but its hard for my skin type, texture and age. That being said, I really love Medium 1 on you above foundation, I bet medium 3 would look great underpainted.
Thank you, Marianne! I’m in love with all the shades, and can’t wait to mix and match! I think you will be successful if applying it over powder if you needed. But there is also her Power Bronzer that dries more matte. If anything, I would stick to the Huda Beauty contour if it’s working out!
Super helpful even 2 years later! Thank you 🫶🏽

I’m so glad you swatched it against the Tom Ford because that’s what it reminds me of. I’m definitely getting it 👍🏾Thanks
Amazing! Thank you, Ruby!!

I love that some of your reviews are not completely first impression. It’s nice to know how the product should be used to get the best use of it
I just ordered mine based on your review! Thank you for always being so thoughtful and thorough on products.
Thank you, Stephanie! Keep me updated! 🙆🏽♀️

It blended effortlessly🥰🥰🥰. Thank you for this review. I just love how thorough you are with your reviews.
Thank you so much for watching! Happy to know this was helpful 🥰
Ma’am, you DID this!! I’m doing product research for the upcoming Sephora sale and this was, by far, such a complete and thorough review. Thank you!!🤎
Thank you for this great review!! Exactly what I was looking for. My skintone is pretty close to yours. I'm going with Medium 3
Great job on the description 😍 I’m a makeup artist and I was on the fence about these because I already have all DaNessa products but now I will be ordering these thank you girl!!

I was hoping for this review, these look great. Also, I love those earrings friend!!
Early gang! Omg just the other day I was hoping you’d review this! Ahahah Thankyou!
Intent was to skip through.... but girl you got my eyes 👀 stuck like glue ..... great review with versatility of applications
These products look beautiful. I have honestly been transfixed by her instagram demo, letting it play on loop a couple of times lol. Thank you for another excellent review and demo, Alicia!!
Right!? Danessa’s technique is beyond enchanting 😻
There is a holiday sale going now and this review is exactly what I needed. New to your channel I'm going to check out more of you content. Thanks.
Love the luminosity that it leaves behind, very pretty.
Yeah, this is the video that I was waiting for. She did the makeup on Outee hair's calendar.(2013/2014). It was mind blowing; how she used her creativity to tell their story!
I was dying for a review on this.
Idk the politics on beauty gurus these days but Danessa needs more exposure and accessibility!
Yes. It's sus that major beauty gurus don't talk about her. Not even black influencers.
Thanks for the great explanation you just did. It helped me a lot to choose mine. You're a great girl. Hugs from Spain..
I think the difficulty is that Dannessa's products have a learning curve, you've got to experiment with them to find out how to apply them, and this can discourage average consumers like myself. But once you have figured it out, they are beautiful ❤️
Wow !! It looks flawless!! Great video as always. I love that you always do comparisons. It really is helpful on decision making 😊😊😊

You’re back!!! Love you girl. Happy new year.:)
The finished look is so good! ♥️
Thanks for posting. Have you created a full face Danessa video?
Thank you! Appreciate the swatches and info! Will be buying the balm!

Best review ever! THANK YOU🥰👌🏻
I love the finish and the warmer undertones. Cool undertones look gray on me😞. My favorite on you is the medium 1. Thanks so much for all the detail.
Thank you! I prefer warmer as well. Especially if your complexion calls for it. I want to start mixing them, because the shades are gorgeous!
I love the PML art poster on your wall!
Thank you! I’m so happy I got it framed!
Thank you for the review and for showing all 3! Just ordered medium 2 using your link!! 💗💗

I got medium 2. It is beautiful and blends like a dream!
I love Medium 2: it’s a beautiful shade!
Oh and for reference, I’m 310 in fenty pro filter hydration foundation.
Then Medium 2 will be 👌🏽
Love an Alicia video were she gets punchy with the products. End result, stunning!
OMG, I love the review. I ordered the countour balm and the twin flames multi chrome!! Love the options you give and techniques.. 😊
Amazing! I’ve been loving the contour balms! And I bought the new Twin Flames shades 😻
I have NO INTREST in her stuff but I love catching up w/ you gurl! Thanks for another great review.
The finished look is just breathtaking!

I am foundation shade 10 from mama Pat and I purchased medium 1 and I love it
Yesssss...more Danessa Myricks content from youuuuu!! Can't wait to watch this and learn. ✔✔✔
Thank you, Pam!! These came lightening fast! I was amazed 🤣😅
@@aliciaarcher I love all the undertones. They look amazing on you!
Great videos! Obviously these are not a shade that I could use, but it’s still very interesting to learn about it!!!
Is the vision cream cover scented?
Also came wondering how the formula compairs to the Tom Ford?
Stunning reviews!! I’m definitely getting her contour!
So pretty!
I love the packaging of the DM Balm Contour.
So do I, it’s so classic!
Ok I'm sold again, I just need to figure out my shade. Tfs and being so helpful.
super
I really need to try these now. Thank you pretty, I'm inspired to get these and do a review on channel xoxo
Would also love to know which DM contour balm matches TM shade intensity 2
Medium 3 might be closest in terms of depth, but the Tom Ford Intensity 2, has a ruddiness to it, whereas Danessa’s Medium 3 is a rich brown tone.
Very pretty. Love those earrings too!
Gorgeous 😍 as always
First off, nails 😍 that blue is so bomb.

How do you think Sonia g classic cheek brush would apply this?
Beautiful!
This looks great. I like the tones. It makes me think of Tom Ford. I like her products because it really feels like you are painting your face.
Hmm, going to research some searches and see which colour would suit me best.
ouuu...thanks for swatching. they are gorgeous!!
You got it! Thank you, Saye!!
LOVED this video!
Does anyone knows how this compares to the Fenty stix?
Hi beautiful, would u advise this for warm to hot environment?? Thk u...luv
Hi there! I would definitely set the balm, but probably a powder product would be better!
Oooo🤔...i need that!! ...i wonder what the deeper shades look like 😊✌
They look rich!
@@aliciaarcher ☺...i gotta try it!!
Hmmm dont think its available on Sephora.ca :( :(

Danessa has cooler tones for the fair/light spectrum. Did you take a look at her page?
I would love to compare this to the Colourpop cream bronzers that came out that were only $15.
Are those still available? I don’t know what the general feedback is on that product. Have you used it?
I was so excited for this review.
Thank you for being here, Yvette!!
how does it compare the formula with the tom ford?
The Tom Ford is a touch more emollient, with a natural finish.
Thanks for this ♥️
