I agree in combat it's hard to make use of mutagenists field vials but I do think they are uniquely helpful outside combat for allowing you to use skills that your mutagen give disadvantages in if your gm is okay letting you stretch the time limit a bit the same way many let you stretch the time limit for quick vial healing potions out of combat
An incredible remaster. Paizo did good work on the Alchemist. I'm glad they are going the opposite direction from a certain company when it comes to making your class feel powerful.
I've been very stoked to play an alchemist ever since Tian Xia came out, I feel like the options there really make the alchemy come to life with that flavor of eastern alchemy

Excellent point! Since you can use Quick Vials for that benefit too, it saves you on wasting mutagens that you only temporarily need to suppress.
