I'm still living the dream and it's even better than being back in the US. The prices are still lower (despite inflation), the women are still more feminine and fit, and the experiences are still more enjoyable.
That can change overnight... Turkey was similar but with a blink of an eye, prices went through the roof... Locals can't cope now with the prices which aren't far off the UK in some parts of Turkey... That can happen anywhere!
The reality is that prices in Asia now have reached European levels. Digital nomads, influencers have done it to themselves glorifying the affordable lifestyle of Asia. Supply and demand increased rent prices in Bali, Thailand etc and the numbers just don't add up for the majority of people. There's still waves trying to break through but they will eventually run out of money and move back to their countries.
the combination of work going back to the office (and no, you are not more productive working from home, despite how much one lies about it) and the fact that the global economy is more unstable, thus big companies are reining in marketing (aka, ad sense money is hot garbage now), all those digital nomad living isn't sustainable. it wasn't really sustainable or feasible in the first place anyway.
Self-fulfilling prophecy. They oversaturated the market. When you think about it, isn't hiring VA's just what Outsourcing companies do in a larger scale?
Digital nomads have grown consistently every year in the countries i'm at. I think your rather misinformed, its actually the highest period of digital nomadism because of the ukraine war and covid. Countries like Poland, ukraine, czech repulic, etc are not digital nomad centres let alone you haven't done it for long as you mentioned. Digital nomads look for low cost and low taxes with great visas, none of the countries you mentioned have either of those which kind of make your whole video irrelevant because your talking about something you don't understand. But you do you, please in future actually make content about things that make sense
Boy, you really are off track here. I get it, this lifestyle did not work out for you. That doesn't mean creating these shallow, biased videos will somehow advance your life. In the meantime, digital nomad lifestyle is alive and well, thank you very much :) I'm sure you will make it from working out of your mom's basement though...
He's entirely on point... I've lost count of the amount of people, some who are very well known in their industries leave the digital nomad lifestyle lately and instead settling down or building a bricks and mortar type business instead with some of them moving back home too!

I would agree. That trend may have already started!

Yeah feel free to make your own videos then

@david nailed it. Can't get rich moving every month
lol I'm much wealthier than I ever would have been as a digital nomad moving every month
@davidholgate123 but that gives the space to new and younger people as well
