  • Guest Dr. Chet Hesson, BGSU senior associate AD for Student-Athlete Experience/Deputy Title IX Coordinator joins your podcast hosts to discuss the impact of physical activity on our mental health.
Mental Matters is hosted by Phil Hughes, associate director of Outreach and LPCC-S, and Dr. Jessica Mitchell-Corsino, director of the Counseling Center. Listen to Mental Matters every other week for a variety of topics related to mental health, resources available on campus, and how to best take care of you!
Amid a heightened awareness of the importance of mental health among college students nationwide, BGSU supports students, faculty and staff with services and programming while removing barriers to care.
The Division of Health and Wellness plays a significant role in providing mental health services and well-being initiatives on campus through the Counseling Center and Wellness Connection with assistance from health educators, faculty, staff and students - each with a shared responsibility in contributing to a healthier BGSU community.
