How do you make one of the best skate videos of all time? Have every part be timeless and epic like this Sheffey rawness. Kevin Romar introduces a classic Plan B part from 1992.
Perfect Deck shapes,,,Perfect Era,,perfect year in that era,,perfect me in my prime,,,Perfect Sheffey! thank You Sheff, a million strong suburbia kids now in our 40’s forever know your dominance...
I missed the days at the Brooklyn Banks when Sheff used to come through. I was the next Gen when the Harold Hunters , Peter Hun ,Pete Bicis Jeff Pang , and has many others. Sheff was all Power. My first board was a SHUT SHARK and that was Sheffs board. It was big solid peice but I rode the piss outta it. Good times. NYC 90,s ! LES 13 st. Mike
Still one of my favorite skaters. He has such a powerful presence, not only on a skateboard but in person too. And Sheffey is definitely the guy who made me want to learn late shuv its when I was younger.. Good times
Damn dude, I was watching Josh Kalis' epicly later'd Vice videos over the weekend and Sheff was in one, been thinkin' bout him and some of this dope parts way back when. I even pulled out the ol' VCR and popped in a few vhs tapes from late 90's early 2000's but my tracking(lol you guys remember tracking) was all messed up, I couldn't watch em. Shit much appreciated Thrasher, you guys read my mind and fulfilled my wish. Great upload !
This track is Fu Shnickens- La Schmoove dope to see one of the very few pro black skaters from the 90's coming with the flava Phife Dawg is on the track too
It's a dying breed man. A lot of kids these days have lost that. In a hurry just to be good and sponsored by some bullshit company. At 35. I still ride. And for the same reasons I started for. FUN!
I'm "Actualy" skateboarding "Nowadays" with my friends everyday. Only for fun and making tricks contests on a new trick we just learned. That's what skateboarding is. But if a sponsor get to you and want to pay you only for doing what you like (Skateboarding), you would refuse? For my self i wouldn't. And people haved always wanted to be best. It is called Human brain. Skateboarding is still Skateboarding. From Québec City sorry for my bad english.
I thought he was from VA. But he is a freedom plaza OG. He is basically from DC. He used to rip with Brian Tucci, PepMartinez, Carlos skinner. Take a look at Tucci's style they skated the same way hard, raw, big, and sketchy. East coast flavor back then. Back then the west coast had seating on lock until zoo York, h street, etc. on the east emerged.
C'mon guys, the essence of skateboarding is that:"there is no way skateboarding should be"...I So stop with this "it was better back in the days and bla bla bla". Competition and fun have always had equal importance in skateboarding, from the Z-boys era til now. I think it's a great thing that today some people can make a decent living, raise kids and inspire others while doing what they love.
Because that's the way skateboarding should be, I bet there's a large amount of kids these days that only started in the first place just to get rich, be famous and drive nice cars. Sure talent helped those that achieved those things but in my jaded opinion the true aspect of going out with friends, dorking around and having fun has slightly been lost in a way
I LOVE TRASHER AND THE SKATEBORDING TO MY FUCKING LAST DAY OF LIFE
It's funny to compare these tricks to the stuff today. All tricks that are slowmoed and super cool in this, are just a part of a line these days... Which is pretty sad actually. I think it's becoming too much super sport. Keep it real!
It doesn't matter what you wear or what you do, they're having fun old and new. Sure this was classic skateboarding but there are many PROGRESSIVE skaters out there that wear skinny jeans. Look at Corey Duffel, you're going to tell me that people like him haven't made skateboarding progressive? Don't hate just because of what someone wears..
THIS was a great time to be a skateboarder.
TRULY A CLASSIC.
This was when you were YOUNG.
Perfect Deck shapes,,,Perfect Era,,perfect year in that era,,perfect me in my prime,,,Perfect Sheffey!

This radness of this part is not questionable

Back when small wheels were cool!
ya he can
Eassssssst !
if you look in the dictionary under "beast" there will be a picture of Sheffey. No lie.
still is.
It's funny to compare these tricks to the stuff today. All tricks that are slowmoed and super cool in this, are just a part of a line these days... Which is pretty sad actually. I think it's becoming too much super sport. Keep it real!
AND when lines were pretty much improvised. :D
Don't pacify me! I don't need a binky!
he invented them, he was going to do as many as humanly possible.lol
Fuckn sickk!!👍
Um because it's from the Plan b video Questionable?
Those fucking late shoves!
fucking destruction
dude you don't even understand how comfortable baggy pants are.
is that like late bigspin or something
Late shove it master!
I personally find skinny jeans very comfortable. Not only for my ball sack but for skating as well.
Song ?

He must love late shuvit's
Ya
Why it's called "Questionable"
2:11
Sheffey duckfaced before it was cool lol
Toe touch redo !
G shit.
Skateboarding was so progressive at this time because they didn't wear ball suffocation skinny jeans.
You get extra internets for this comment.

there on the complete opposite end of the table,
comparing 'em is pretty pointless.

I meant that is why it is called "Questionable". Not "Why is it called "questionable". Read comments more thoroughly.
Not for the wheels.
