😂🤣🤣🤣 The Dude That Is Interviewing Him Tried To Change The Subject But Got Checked Immediately. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
People thinking Ali isn't from the streets CLEARLY haven't been watching his specials.
Ali was funny in prison because he wasn't afraid . Jokes are extremely dangerous when you're in a place where respect is the most valuable commodity. Cracking a joke on the wrong person will , at a minimum get you fucked up or possibly get you killed . Being funny is a risk no matter where you are but when you're in a cage full of killers it's a liability if you can't handle yourself.
Man Niggas be wanting Dookie 💩
It ain't that serious. But as long as your respectful your good. All you want in jail is those laughs. Laughing is hard to come by in jail. The 6 months I spent in jail I remember the guys who made me laugh and made the time in their go by faster. So people like ali is those inmates who u remember and want to be around
That part, my guy....
📠 especially when we live in a world where waking up is a risk
Nothing malicious about Ali's answer
A lot of people shittin on this dude in the comments but y'all need to take a second to realize he maybe institutionalized from trauma he experienced or seen in prison. So that funny guy question may offend him bc prison was not a funny place for him.
Exactly.
Dat nigga sleep wit a gun. Floyd don’t talk this gangster. I don’t fuck wit em like dat no more. He still funny. But he a chump.
I met a few people that did some time, None of them said it was fun, the only person I saw that act like he had a ball in prison was Joey Coco Diaz, he's a story teller and a liar, Joe be lying his ass off, and sixteen months is still to long to do in prison
Right my uncles is doin 3 life sentences and that sh!t ain’t funny. I respect Ali to the fullest
If you have never served time it's hard to understand. We cherish people that make u laugh in jail. Because u don't get many laughs. I remember the people that made me laugh because it made u kind of forget where u were at
Ali is giving off some serious goodfellas vibes
That will change the mood of the room very fast🤨😬
The interviewers don’t understand prison culture and how that will permanently be apart of their thinking, regardless of their occupation.
I deleted a previous comment but Adam Is a fake...
True, but Ali needs to remember he's not in prison any longer and he willingly went on that podcast.
@@blacklabelholsters1635 it’s not like he doesn’t want to be there… he just wanted to show the interviewer how that question sounds/ can come off to some one who was in prison. The interviewer was just a lil ignorant tbh. He’ll learn over time how to deal with different types of guests
Niggas be wanting Dookie 💩
@@blacklabelholsters1635 it's the did you start telling jokes, so you wouldn't get fu*k while in prison, as Ali said, that all started with a man that never went to prison, from another great story teller Richard Pryor, the problem starts when people start believing the stories that being told by comedians and comedians will say some outrageous mess too, and if things go south they always say hey... I'm just a comedian, don't belive the things that I say, they're just jokes and stories😏
For those of you seeing how this dude is overthinking this in the most extreme way possible let me explain because I did a little bit of time. This is the way most people are in jail believe me I’ve literally seen it first hand. You have to understand they’re in confined spaces with little to nothing to do 24/7 and what happens is your mind finds something to do within itself. The most extreme cases are those who do significant time in the solitary confinement aka the hole or the SHU. To punish the inmates who are already being punished they put them in the prison within the prison because the worst punishment you can give someone is solitary confinement which can literally cause you to lose your mind. It may sound crazy but I swear I literally remember sitting on my bunk and just observing everyone and having that realization and seeing how in their minds they thought there was so much going on like there was places to go people to see and things to do it was bizarre… oh and if you wanna talk about the drama haha it was worse than keeping up with the Kardashians. Human psychology and psychiatry is truly remarkable.
Man niggas be wanting Dookie 💩
I’m a combat veteran and I feel the same way when people ask me idiotic questions about war like it’s a movie.
Fellow combat veteran myself brother.
This is what it looks like when people are listening but not understanding. He trying to get his message across and they're focusing on the bullshit that's irrelevant.
These dudes haven't a clue!
Ali will whoop ass if he needs too! 🥊🤕
@@sevensages5279 you really got to notice the warnings signs, everyone gives a warning before Mister (as in Mr Hyde👹) takes over,
Just don't flip that switch, they as in the host keep pushing, then it's...Hey! But...But.. you're a comedian..Ali: Comedian this Mother F**ker!
@willie417
That phrase, "f*ck around and find out" seems quite appropriate in this instance! 🫡
@@sevensages5279 😂🤣😂
ALI'S A REAL ONE ...WHO JUST HAPPENS TO HAVE A COMEDIC STORY TELLING TALENT!!!
“I’m a clown.. I’m here to amuse you?” “Funny how?” “ I don’t know.. you said it” But he’s serious 🥴
Those were immediately my thoughts too!! 🤦♂️ "Frankie, was he shakin'?" 🤣
@@Guillermo_Carratero 😂🤣😂
I was about to post the same thing 😂
Yeah good reference my g. From “goodfellas”
he carries a lot, that man. handles it like a champ
He got security for the people lol
By far the funniest thing he said the whole clip.
You guys are the same people that would never say anything like that person type away flammers
He is right. Young folk are much more ignorant than back in our day.everything is a competition to them. What is sad is they dont know art is subjective. So sad they parents did not teach them that
He gave so much knowledge …don’t be funny in jail unless u mean it
Respect to this man for surviving prison and keeping it together. You see his special Bigger Than These Bars you realise that it’s still a daily struggle for him not to snap. He spoke with his fellow inmates as a survivor that you can physically survive prison but if and when you are released can you survive prison on the outside mentally. It is quite a humbling sight to see these hardened criminals nodding in agreement to this insight as they speak about that despite Ali being free for over twenty years he still can’t shake off being referred to by his Prison I.D. number. God bless this man.
Being funny won't stop someone who wants to hurt you, in prison.
Right over their heads! Cornballs!
I've met some seriously "dangerous" dudes and they were almost always, with a few minor exceptions, the most humble people I've ever had the pleasure is meeting.
My dad always taught me that, "there's ALWAYS someone out there who's taller, better looking, smarter, funnier, more athletic,, meaner, stronger and badder than you, so improve yourself and respect others, because the moment you think you're better, smarter or tougher than everyone else is the moment you get caught and proved to be incorrect."
The Golden Rule: Treat others as you wish to be treated.
Niggas be wanting Dookie 💩 😂
I love Ali Siddiq
He just drop jewels and they don’t even know it’s about perspective and if you don’t get it it’s not for you to see…
Ali wanting to stab the guard that violated him tells you who he is
Ali finishes the fight before it even begins. That is game and frame at its highest level.
Ali Siddiq is a good comedian and storyteller. I invite people in the comments to do their homeworks before judging. He has been plenty of times on Joey Diaz and Joe Rogan's podcasts, also his This Is Not Happening stories, etc...
Thank you!! 👏🏽
After this? Nah I’m good
@@Toad-iz8nf way to be open minded 👏🏽👏🏽
@cheddar_papi94 thank you!
Joey Diaz is a lot like this to… they’re both cool mf’ers. But they’ve experienced a much different life then the rest of us. And it’s why they’re sort of aggressive when it doesn’t seem necessarily to most of us. Life has put them on edge since childhood. Prison didn’t help.
Just gotta appreciate them for who they are and enjoy the comedy. They’re both great.
Save the bear!!! Ali is really a Street Cat
Ali is the 💈 barber that even bald dudes spend 3 hours kicking it with at the shop, he's the greatest storyteller of our generation......😏This is a real dude, so watch your mouth
For an Ex CO you count beginning of the shift and after chow. If your count is off everything stops moving until count clears
Oscar de la Hoya disrespectful as hell.
I remember when my mom would ask me how was your day when she would talk to me in jail it would offend me for some reason those small questions like that. Like how do u think my day was. I eat and slept all day I didn't do shit all day.
Bro, shine my shoes ! Haha. This is the guy from good fellas that they needed to shine shoes.
Jesus. I'm a fan of Ali but I'd be scared to be around him in person, because what if I accidentally asked in ignorance the wrong question.
Lol smh Ali tried to explain what he meant, but he still didn't get it. And you don't have to experience prison to understand that
You will never forget that number 😢
Good fellas moment lol
Ali is trying to express just because he’s funny doesn’t mean he was a bitch in prison . Because there is no such thing as a the funny guy in prison . And to know that you have to be or go to prison
What motivates you?😂😂😂😂😂😂
Yes if you are 6'4 I would ask lol
Guy sounds like he has a Size complex
He's overthinking the situation.
"Overthinking it" is being kind
Overthinking x100 but that’s the way most are in jail believe me I’ve been there and saw it first hand. You have to understand they’re in confined spaces with little to nothing to do 24/7 and what happens is your mind finds something to do with itself. It may sound crazy but I swear I literally remember sitting on my bunk and just observing everyone and having that realization and seeing how in their minds they thought there was so much going on it was bizarre.
Not really. It’s called his life experience
*We* would be "overthinking" it. A guy in prison isn't.
Nah... Because what people think about you is how they will treat you!
Who in the hell remembers Hosue Party 🤣🤣🤣🤣 all the jail movies "this is the one" he's thinking about lol
162triple4C!!!
He's talking about one specific scene in the movie.
Ali - "FUNNY HOW." Hahahah. Joe Pesci energy.
Hyper defensive! Asks a comedian if he was the funny guy.. How Rude
"I'm here to amuse you" Yes i thought that was the point
Bro prison life ain't funny. But I feel what you saying
Damn he really upset about that …shlt must really hit different because of those experiences
he just gave a clinic on something.. not sure what that was.. lol......
To* not too
Um a real prison show would show how they deny you Day room or yard time. It'll show how you in men prison there are fights over bussing cheeks lol
Check mate bih😅😅😅😅 this that Joe Peci vibe .
Yall sticking up for him. I got nothing but love for him, but he’s extra for this. He chose to make prison a huge part of his comedy. He literally made it clear that his comedy dreams formed in prison.
He has a chip on his shoulder and ego issues that got him thinking everyone thinks he was funny because he was a punk.
Literally no one is thinking that way. No one.
I’m sorry, yall in here like “that’s what prison is - you don’t understand”
Miss me with that shit.
My uncle came home after 30 years straight. He didn’t act like everyone else is trying to disrespect him over the stupidest sht. And he was no joke. He passed since and his funeral was lit. The amount of money and yay that was buried with him, yoooooo. Everyone was blessing his casket.
He never acted like this.
I’m sorry this is ridiculous and I hope Ali gets this chip off his shoulder it’s not cool. That was unnecessary.
The chip on his shoulder is fcking gigantic 😳😳
And sad.
overcompensating is a thing
Yeahhh...so enormous, I don't know how he manages to carry it...ESPECIALLY being 5' 7" and a buck 57 soaking wet and all. But he "needs security guards" NOT to protect him, oh no...but rather to protect us people FROM him. Cuz he's such a baaad MF'r. Get real. This guy is a complete lame and the epitome of overcompensation.
Yeah but humans have bad days. He is hardheaded tho kinda silly to be so young
Nah ppl just sensative all he did was explain something that he's probably had to correct a few times....it's not overcompensating....it's not overthinking.....bcuz ppl really think u can make ppl laugh u doing it to keep yoself safe....but that's not how that goes u dont be the "funny guy" in prison like ppl think from movies and tv shows....respect means more than a word to some ppl in the world....
He wanted that man😂. He wanted to fight+
😮 who is the new up and coming comedian behind Kat Williams??? Take a guess...Ali Sidiqq
Not even close, respectfully! He's gonna go right on over to the Elites. They like the hard and stuff talking ninjas who are slightly intellectual or God forbid he'll be right in prison. Best believe they, powers that be, are watching and they're always looking to make Black people the story line.
To be fair Ali did say himself there was a specific joke that kept him alive.. is that not being funny in prison
Ooh wee...Ali on one this interview...lol
I see a lot of y’all talking down about Ali, but I bet you one thing, that shit you talking wouldn’t be face to face though
Jus lookin to be offended lol. thin skinned af. lighten up funny man
Pocket holder
I love Ali
The interviewer clearly doesn't understand how words can be interpreted. Think about what you say, & who you're saying it to, before you say anything. Basics in street culture....
Street culture? They aint slinging dice on the block ol boy. It’s an honest question considering he’s a literal comedian…
@@Toad-iz8nf The way he phrased it came off as; "So you were a clown in prison?" That will get you hurt in many other scenarios. Not saying it's right, but be aware of who you're speaking to, and what you're saying, before you say it... Pretty straight forward that's all
Yeah they not from a street. They from a boulevard.
You not that guy buddy anybody can get touch!
He saying "facts"
I forgot my tdc # thank god
Bro, i reeeeally like this dude but that was like wtf? You're a comedian and gonna get pissed with a question about you being funny?? Dude legit asked him respectfully. No wonder he was considered dangerous in jail. You say some joke or whatever to the dude and he snaps lol. Maybe he only like that with people who are not close to him. Idk, but still, he was in an interview. Dude just wanted to know if he was a funny guy in prison or if he became like that after it. And gotta say it, the podcasters handled his "snap" really well.
It's 'to,' not too.
On everything da spn # don't leave you smh 😂
The easiest way to find the LEAST dangerous person around...is to wait for the dude who claims he's the MOST dangerous person around.
Yeah ok.. everyone don’t play silly games
Usually but this man is verified and I'm not speaking from his words
I get the feeling that’s this guy “dangerousness” has been tried and tested in prison. 5.7 and funny you know how tough you have to be to have an inkling of respect in prison.
Lmao you try him then internet thug
Geeeiiiyyyy
This guy is the definition of insecure
Yah he is full of crap.
Yep. Full of sht
Have y'all stopped to think this dude maybe institutionalized from prison? He may have experienced or seen trauma that makes him feel prison is serious shit and that question is making light of it. U can get killed over the smallest shit in prison.
@@micahhayes8770 maybe but he seems to exaggerate everything.
@@grungetruck8243 you give me beta male vibes
Dude, chill out, the interviewer posed a legit question…go with the flow.
This whole conversation is weird, man went on a whole rant because someone asked if he was cracking jokes in prison.
That's not what he was asked. But I feel what u saying
Convicted felons can never be tough
😂😂😮
Last 🤬 💩
👹🤣 Look at these two white boys looking visible upset and confused because Ali isn't giving them the answer they wanted 😂
Everybody tells story to make their selves sound like bad ahh, be humble you coming off ignorant
Dude needs to chill tf out. Might need to be put in his place
Always happens.
Bro you were in prison. You aren’t now.
Prison isn’t a personality. Stfo
Were you the funny guy in prison?
Why you ask me that?
Cause you are literally a comedian.
They don't ask the prison lawyer if he was helping people with their cases.
Yes they do. Dude is being defensive when no defense is needed.
Came off corny af
This guy is a clown
😂😂 I love this s**t. I am a big time supporter of Trump, and there is nothing I like more than when a black dude keeps it hard amongst white dudes who think everything is some cute joke. To me, people like this are unique and necessary.
Racist
Anyone talks a fight can’t have one,
wow , how is this guy considered a comedian , he has not said one funny thing ,
just another black guy with a huge chip on his shoulder , , maybe he should go back to jail
because , it seems thats where is fits in ,
He’s Joey diaz’s dude. Everyone chill tf out
@micheal wtf , “just another black guy with a huge chip on his shoulder huh?? You’ve shown who you are with such an ignorant statement.🙄
YOU TRYING TO HARD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
