to be fair, the ZL to reset is written in words at the bottom when Ultrahand is used. It's less hidden than other features, but if someone doesn't see it the first time they might miss it.
I like the challenge of helping Addison. I create the most wacky structures I can to hold the sign up. I also am a carpenter, so it’s kind of a flex for me.
The couple of tips I’D recommend (for anyone starting a new game): Pick up any and all Sundelions you can find because they are the only cooking ingredient that will repair the hearts you’ve lost to Gloom Go to the various stables and complete all the quests to awaken the Great Fairies early because it’s much easier and cheaper to do so this game, letting you upgrade armor more quickly. Start finding the mines in the Depths quickly. There are mines located between each of the major settlements and in canyons below many of the mountains in the game. The Forge Constructs at these will let you trade Zonaite for Crystallized charges, which you can then use to upgrade your Battery capacity, which you’ll need to power bigger and better Zonai Device constructs. There’s also the added benefit of treasure chests with rare items being found at the smaller mines you’ll come to
I don’t like using the hover stones to help Addison. There’s a couple instances where they want you to but I always use the materials they leave you, it’s more fun that way, it’s like a puzzle. Using a hover stone every time just takes every ounce of challenge or ingenuity out of it
Idk if I’d call it a challenge. I always use the same solution for almost every one of them. A flat board on the found, connected to a thin wooden pole that touches the side of the sign, and then a last pole that is either horizontal or vertical depending on how I’m feeling to hold up the sign
@@vaquishers I mean by definition it is a challenge if you have to think of different ways to do it depending on the situation, like you described. Also I feel like you maybe haven’t done too many of them because there are tons on slopes or cliff edges where you’re unable to do that. Regardless, a hover stone for every one just eliminates that aspect of it entirely, which is boring

Agreed. Coming up with a ridiculous structure to hold up the sign and then using expert parkour to talk to addison afterwards is a part of the fun. But i can't lie. I feel like I'm going to get sick of these after a few too many so having an easy cheat if i need one is nice
Something i never understood, the Hudson employee constantly needs help supporting the sign because he can support it on his own, but not at the same time as making the wooden support to keep it up. Why doesn't *Link* just hold it while the Hudson employee fixes it up??
The cooking pot trick seems finicky because you need your build to have a flat surface to place it down and cook. The rewind power works much better for getting your battery back imo.
Three points: 1: i knew bout number 2 since day two of having the game but god damn for the life of me I can never remember it when it would actually be useful for reorienting my air bike after a crash landing. 2: that hoverstone tip for hudson is a genuine lifesaver and i will be using it from now on you have no idea how many times i dropped that bitch cause he wants to put a sign up on a slope. If you fuse a shield to a weapon, the ZL trick for ultra hand does not work. It's an oversight that can easily be patched out, but I just find it humorous with all the testing this game has had, they missed the little things like a slight overwrite in the code.

Actually the hover stone fused to a spear does not work in shrines. It will be attached to it but when you throw the spear to get the hover stone off, it will immediately disappear. You can use rockets fused to shields to gain some verticality though.
Nah bro I hate Addison because the physics of that sign defy any logic. I did the hoverstone method and you know what it did? It fell backwards, swang from side to side, or flung itself somehow every single time. Hell. No.
I did end game grind as in started killing lynels, and I didn’t even beat the second main dungeon and didn’t get a second sage. killed two white manned lynels. Unfortunately I only have one gut. Would anyone recommend beating the red and blue lynels for lynel gut item drop. Or will it be a waste of time and resources?
Some of the hudson signs don't have a flat bottom on them so its better to use a plank on one or both sides of the sign to make sure it doesn't tip over. Also there is one that's absolutely crazy and i couldn’t get a hoverstone properly underneath it so i just did the intended method of making a weird stand with the nearby materials.
There is literally materials directly next to him everytine you see Addison, just take the short one, angle it and put it under the sign, and boom you're done, don't waste your hover pads

Better recharge that doesn't use a zonai device capsule: Big Zonai Charge. Instantly refills completely and has a buffer.

5. When you shoot a bomb arrow at a target in a shrine, it activates it
It doesn't help that you can't access the zonai devices in shrines so the hover thing won't work
