That looks really nice Dan. Something about that grime on the trucks that's throwing me. I don't know if it's too bright or too thick but it just looks out of place to my eye. It could just be an area thing and is just my opinion with is hella subjective.
Awesome video as always. You should definitely try and attempt a build video on a tank car similar to the one pictured at 1:10 with the different style walkways!
Plano Model Products makes a kit for doing the cars with the full length offset walkway and handrails. It's not an easy assembly but I've done a few of them and they look great when they're done. Very common cars that no one makes an RTR model of yet.
Great timing! I’m currently weathering a Genesis Anhydrous Ammonia car and my prototype photo has colorful, streaky chemical stains coming up from the underbody drain. I didn’t have a clue on how to model that effect….now I do!

What color paint do you use for under body kick up spray. Fixing to tackle a small fleet of tanks.

I've scratched the unsealed paint on a couple of cars with random bits of stuff on my cutting mat, so I always sit the model on a paper towel now.
I sell some weathered cars myself,and Dan's work is second to none.
