      Digger go to YT Studio, go to the comments section, at the top it says published. Next to it is a triangle pointing down, touch it and it changes to held for review. I find I get lots of comments in there. It's Google buggering about

    Very nice. The tank looks great. Technique and choice of color is excellent.
    Look at Industrial Models for weathering types. His models are super prototype.

    Awesome tutorial, I have a stock body factory gray painted on the inside. How do I archive the look of the little tank you showed all over the whole body?

      Hiya Ed many thanks for your interest my friend. Its basically the sponge on a toothpick method for the rougher parts of rust and then enamels weathering pencils etc plus a coat of ultra matte varnish and powders over that.     Amazing demonstration Digger. I have a few pieces that I would like to try weathering. Most of my stuff is going to remain shiny.

      I know what you mean I have a few very expensive locos that will remain in pristine condition too, I started by practicing on some old bit of wagons etc.. that i got for very little money

      @@DiggerEvans im colorblind so I always listen to other modelers color choices. My wife had gotten me a chestnut color for the fresh rust color, and I use burnt umber for the age rust as you said. Thanks again digger!

      hiya the scalpel I use is a Swann Morton no 3, and there are many good airbrushes available Sparmax are a decent make and not at the top end of the price range they have a good all round airbrush for general use

    Yes, the final shots there show well the "Run hot and put away Wet!" look to the 'old and tatty' effect. It's got the gritty, flaky look we know of that age of rustiness! Cheers Digger. Keep Well, sir.
