like i said you missed the point. He is saying Lebron is an elitist because he won the genetic lottery. He even mentioned that Lebron is from the hood, citing that his elitism comes from his basketball prowess. The whole point of Whitlock highlighting Lebron in this view, is because most people want to make him out to be Mr. Everybody, when he is not.
but you just ignored the millions of dollars he gives every year to put kids through college. how is that elite? he has consistently spoken out on injustice and is a great model. and Whitlock is discrediting all of that because his parents had good genes? that's disgusting for a journalist to do that. you can't gloss over again the MILLIONS of dollars and time spent uplifting neighborhoods. tiger woods I agree but lebron?
and by the way his basket ball prowess has allowed him to give back. its thanks in part to those genes he has been able to have great success. not to mention I work at Nike Chicago and have met him three times and he has always been down to earth and authentic. all im saying is if Nike is using him to push a narrative then yeah that's terrible but he embodies that narritive anyway. im not a fan of his on the court with his flopping and whining but off the court that African American man is incredible

I have been reading all the negative posts about Jason saying how he is not a true black man, how he is wrong, negative, he doesn't understand. All you people don't understand! He is SPOT ON. The league has a problem. It disconnects from many many people. Not all shows have to be fun. Some shows NEED to be serious...and this is a serious one. The NBA is a joke anymore. No teams, all individual and that turns off waaaaaaaay to many people. He is also correct to call out the elitists like lebrick james, serena williams. They have god given TALENT that others flat out don't have..the everyday person STRUGGLES. They do not. So don't tell me how Jason does not understand. He is spot on.
