I'm actually used to this episode, since we've got stuff like this before. Take the TMNT III episode for example, or the ones where he didn't review games such as Nintendo Power. I hope he'll review more stuff like this in the future! It's definitely one of the funniest episodes out there.

Glad to see you’re back and continuing to do AVGN reactions almost as soon as the latest episode comes out. As for this particular episode, this was by far one of the most boring AVGN episodes. It focused more on the “movie” aspects and less on the game tips. If there was more explanation on why the game tips were dumb and examples to show it, it likely would’ve been a lot more interesting
Tbh, this episode was mediocre, but it had some funny bits in here, so that's good. This makes you think what Mike Matei would be like, when he see this video, he would regret his decision, leaving Cinemassacre like that. He would said something like this, "At times like this, I missed working with the guys."

The tape wasnt about game tips. As he said in the video it was an ad. There was probably very little to talk about in regard to game tips. He showed most of the video as its roughly the same length as the episode. My one complaint about the video was how he talks over most of it with the audio muted not allowing you to experience it yourself. But thats probably for the best as its very obnoxious.
