Haha I don't now why this got recommended to me but it was so wholesome. I was screaming "The discovered attaaaaack" the whole time haha, and knight on g5 was always protected by Dark Bishop so you could move the queen and other knight. I recommend revisiting this game and studying it, there was alot of missed tactics
I love waking up and then watching a new seashore video. Also that checkmate was so satisfying!!! I thought he was just going to give you checks until you ran out of time or checkmate you, but he made a mistake!
It seems that you are correct, since White's dark-squared bishop is also defending the knight from behind the queen, so it's difficult for Black to remove the defense of the knight.
What a great game! 🤩 !!! ... Your progress is really noticeable, you're applying the concepts very well! ... Just a suggestion: you missed one move that would have improved your position a thousand times: developing the dark-squared bishop to complete your development, but everything else was played beautifully!
I'm rated 1550 rapid. My advice is to start thinking about pawn structure. Isolated and doubled pawns are weaknesses. Try to keep your pawns next to each other since they can protect each other and create a chain.
Her actual skill level has now grown to about 750 elo. Her computer calculated elo rating from her win and draw and loss record hasn't caught up yet to her newly learned chess skills such as forking with a knight and such as uncovering a bishop attack. Below is a practical chess elo estimating system. 0 elo, tier 0: A random moves bot is at tier 0. 300 elo, tier 1: Grabs free stuff, avoids giving away free stuff, makes favorable trades, avoids unfavorable trades. 600 elo, tier 2: Exhibits good knight and pawn coordination. Will most of the time begin a chess game with 2 or more consecutive perfect or almost perfect moves after white's opening move. 900 elo, tier 3: Exhibits good bishop and knight and pawn coordination. Will most of the time begin a chess game with 3 or more consecutive perfect or almost perfect moves after white's opening move. 1200 elo, tier 4: Exhibits good king and bishop and knight and pawn coordination. Will most of the time begin a chess game with 4 or more consecutive perfect or almost perfect moves after white's opening move. Eventually... 2700 elo, tier 9: Chess grandmaster. Will on occasion start a game with 9 or more consecutive perfect or almost perfect moves immediately following white's opening move. 3000 elo, tier 10: World Chess Champion. Will on occasion start a game with 10 or more consecutive perfect or almost perfect moves immediately following white's opening move. She is working on coordinating her bishops with her pawns and knights, which is a 900 elo skill. She is also working on most of the time having 3 or more consecutive perfect or almost perfect moves immediately following white's opening move, again a 900 elo skill.

Don't rush through the game review so quickly, try to learn from your mistakes. 13:06 here you say "I was going to do that", talking about Qe6+ and I wonder why didn't you just do that anyway? You were up a huge amount of material, so trading pieces is in your favor. You would simplify the game and save your knight at the same time

@@NapsCLD now you can’t move, or you will be checkmated

You have improved so much! Great job.
Nice W's!! Let's gooooo #GMseashore
11:01, couldnt she take the pawn with the knight, and if queen had taken she could take back with her queen?
It seems that you are correct, since White's dark-squared bishop is also defending the knight from behind the queen, so it's difficult for Black to remove the defense of the knight.
Thought about that too
As a 500 Elo Chess player I seen improvements Seashore your doing great keep it up! :)

Tbh u play very good for 500, I think you will be 1000 in no time
When you're up a lot of material, you should probably just trade the pieces off the board.
True, simplification

11:19 could’ve just taken the pawn as it’s protected by your queen
e 7 and g6 six was also an option for the knight at the end.
It would be crazy if you climb up to become a titled player someday
