don't get me wrong I love Aman but Eric been doing stuff. he's podcast with Yasser was great and his titled Tuesday is one of the highest views of recent videos
in my opinion this is by far the best format/challenge someone has ever done in the chess community, and I really hope you guys are gonna do it again. Absolute cinema. Top quality content
Agree it is great, maybe add in that in the case of a no-show move, Aman gets to know right away (before opponent even moves), I think this would be fun also to see him contemplating different options before opponent even responds
To have not only the knowledge of the lines in the blindfolded positions in these games but also correctly predicting 900 behavior is the best possible summary of Chessbrah Aman and Chessbrah subs
I vaguely recall seeing a variant which did involve multiple possibilities at once. The most popular one was 5D chess, which featured multiverses and time travel.
Aman's predictions of the lower level players' way of thinking are almost always spot on! And it's hilarious when his prediction is correct. Makes me: "How do you know that?"
Not only does he have to calculate multiple variations for each current position in his head, but he also has to calculate multiple variations for each possible state of the chess board’s current position and determine the best move. Bro has to see like 100 different boards simultaneously to do well.
I really enjoyed it! First game took a devious turn in the end lol! Consider a mini speedrun with a low % of unknown moves, i would love to see it! Cheers
I hope that I speak for majority of the Chessbrah community when I say that we need more of these. What an insane concept and definitely grabs & holds my attention throughout 🐴
It's very rare to see a chess challenge that is *more* difficult vs a low rated player than an average player. It would be one thing if a Grandmaster were assuming that his opponent was playing the most logical moves, but with an 800 rated player all bets are off.
I would like to see more of this. Honestly, I thought 20% was too high (I’m only 2100 and it would def be for me) but after seeing his reasoning skills and how well he played the last game with crazy variance, I wanna see it again at 30-50%!!!
50% might be impossible man. Way too high chances for very long chains of invisible moves. But yeah, this was the most fun chess challenge I've ever seen, hope they do it again.
i also play this line of game 2, and if he's not taking the queen but plays pawn to e6 to defend the bishop attack, you come back with your queen on e2 and there are still tricks with knight sacrificing on f7 :D
this is amazing :0 Aman, if you read this, maybe dont post videos too often so you won't be burned out and i really like your videos. so glad you're back :)
Guess you don’t need to know what moves your opponents are playing when they also barely know what moves they’re playing In the first game if you had played Ne5 you’d find out it was illegal and realise that he must have taken your knight
Ode To Eric: When last we knew, flowers blossomed as they grew, pine trees shed needles anew, but whither went poor Eric? Had he appointment dark and dreary? or engagement with female spry and merry? Perhaps waylaid by chess foes insidious? Arrested for intoxication perfidious? Alas, we know not but we implore. Poor Aman alone with the Philidor.
This was such a cool challenge and it's made me think of a similar one: Blindfold but you get all your opponents moves a move later. e.g. 1. e4 ... 2. Nf3 e5 3. Bc4 Nc6. Takes thinking one step ahead VERY literally
Shoutout to Aman for keeping this channel alive
What’s up with eric

agreed
nah. Rosen Trophy is the best challenge in the chess community
Agree it is great, maybe add in that in the case of a no-show move, Aman gets to know right away (before opponent even moves), I think this would be fun also to see him contemplating different options before opponent even responds
lol
blindfold chance of fog of war chess

Very cool concept, I would definitely enjoy more of these
Funny concept + great editing - good job to the editor!
Don't support these guys, but do support the editor
Okay, with this one, I think "my opponent got lucky" isn't just sore loser chatter.
I think this should be called “Quantum Chess” because the state of the board is only determined when you probe it.
As somebody writing his master thesis on open quantum systems, this gave me a chuckle, nice one :)
I vaguely recall seeing a variant which did involve multiple possibilities at once.

Aman's predictions of the lower level players' way of thinking are almost always spot on! And it's hilarious when his prediction is correct. Makes me: "How do you know that?"
What's next? "Chess, except I don't know I'm playing."?
Good idea thank you
3 blind GMs shouting moves and getting responses would be a great video for sure lmao
@@chessbrahthat might actually work, have the player suggest 2 moves and flip a coin which one of them is played without telling them
Somebody gonna wake up Aman at 2am with a camera "haha you got checkmated!"
Aman: Atleast now we know the position.
3 moves later: You got checkmated. 😂
Not only does he have to calculate multiple variations for each current position in his head, but he also has to calculate multiple variations for each possible state of the chess board’s current position and determine the best move. Bro has to see like 100 different boards simultaneously to do well.
Need more of this immediately
This variant is great. More of this
this is a really fun gimmick, would definitely watch more games like this haha
this is insanely fun, make this a regular series please!!
Winning that game while not knowing so any moves was impressive
Always so creative with these formats 😂 props to you, darkspur has shown that he well deserves his 3 digit rating
This is a really fun format, and surprisingly pretty fair odds for a lowbie IMO. Hopefully we see more content like this in the future.
Now instead of a 20% chance you don't know your opponent's move, 20% chance a random move is played for you XD
I really enjoyed it! First game took a devious turn in the end lol! Consider a mini speedrun with a low % of unknown moves, i would love to see it! Cheers

great concept. would like to see more of this.
Bruh, the last game was insane
This is an awesome concept!! Please do more
He called guy #2 “a perfect sucker” and he was right. that’s brutal lol
It's very rare to see a chess challenge that is *more* difficult vs a low rated player than an average player. It would be one thing if a Grandmaster were assuming that his opponent was playing the most logical moves, but with an 800 rated player all bets are off.
These games were very good on the stream, great challenge
"We're getting all the bad luck out of the way" lol great video
You really make the most unique chess videos. An artist at the game👌

going into it I thought 20% was okay but I totally didn't realise the difference between the real position and the imagined one can snowball so hard
Damn that was fun, imagine what a tournament between GMs with these rules would look like lol
Love this format, make it a regular series!
i also play this line of game 2, and if he's not taking the queen but plays pawn to e6 to defend the bishop attack, you come back with your queen on e2 and there are still tricks with knight sacrificing on f7 :D
Why does no one ever go into that two knights line when I play it? Lol.
this is amazing :0
Aman, if you read this, maybe dont post videos too often so you won't be burned out and i really like your videos. so glad you're back :)
I'd love to see this played against another highly skilled player, but both players have an equal chance of rolling a 1.
Nice concept. I would like to see more of it.👍
we need a speedrun of this
Aman amongst boys
Instant classic video
Aman pretending he's considering playing anything other than 2.Bf4
Game 2 is straight out of the habits. I’ve memorized this whole line thanks to Big Aman ❤
That was fun concept.
What a amazing format!
I always love this type of content!
Aman may not be top 10 chess player in the world, but he must be top 1 player in predicting bad moves.
Aman I am LOVING all these challenges!
Awesome idea!
very cool format. Could be even more entertaining if we can see the eval bar - but I guess that would imply even more editing.
This is beautiful.
Guess you don’t need to know what moves your opponents are playing when they also barely know what moves they’re playing
In the first game if you had played Ne5 you’d find out it was illegal and realise that he must have taken your knight
super entertaining love this
best chess channel fr
That was greaaaat fun!, thanks!
Shrodingers chess
wow, he predicted everything, aman read my future
Great idea!
great stuff
absolutely insane!! 🤯
You should play Eric or another gm in this format with the same odds
This was good fun :)
this was fun
Episode 2: Randomizer set to 50% 😂🤯
Anyone know what’s going on with Hansen?
Great fun! :)
Where's eric
Where’s Eric?
Ode To Eric: When last we knew, flowers blossomed as they grew, pine trees shed needles anew, but whither went poor Eric? Had he appointment dark and dreary? or engagement with female spry and merry? Gm is just a title :D
Good vid
Do it with stronger opponents.
KO

Funny board game. Why he didn't choose domino or monopoly tho to spend whole life? Also funny board games?
2 minutes ago is sexually aggravating
Eric still in rehab?
wow
2:00 How did aman know his opponent played 3... Nh5 instead of Nd5?
Nd5 allows Bg3 so if you wanna attack the bishop might as well grab it so its more of a experience thing
getting victimized again live on chessbrah yt
