You are 432 and YOU know what a fork is. Why are you surprised?

1800 here. Keep playing principled chess, and you'll reach your goal in no time! Also, try to learn a few refutation lines against early queen attacks like 2. Qh4 or in the case of your first game 2. Qf3. Best of luck!

    I can not

  • @ryokousha

Clicking through the review in lightspeed is not reviewing the game :P
You're supposed to look at the mistakes and blunders, understand why they're bad and what you should have done instead.
But generally I like you playing slower and thinking through things. keep it up!
btw. the "fried liver attack" is a very specific line in the Italian, where you can sac the knight on f7 and double attack / check with the queen.
People will get angry with you if you're calling about anything "fried liver".

At 14:40 white accidentally opened with 1. d4, which is one of the 9 good opening moves for white.
Black, instead of responding with the correct 1... Nf6, responded with 1. e5, potentially offering white the opportunity to try the 960 elo tactic of "offering a poison pawn", with a pawn move of 2. c4. What could happen if black takes white's poison pawn at c4?
    1. d4 d5
    2. c4 dxc4
The c4 pawn of white merely appears to be a free pawn. There is a 960 elo pawn and bishop tactic that white can then use on move 3, the tactic of "uncovering a bishop attack".
    1. d4 d5
    2. c4 dxc4
    3. e3 (uncovering a bishop attack on black's pawn at c4)
Black might then panic on move 3, and then make his pawn run forward out of the bishop's attack to c3 - right where white's knight wanted to move anyway, thus taking the black's pawn in the process.
Black might just make a random move on turn 3, after which white's bishop takes up a great spot at c4, thus capturing the black pawn at c4.
Black might also make the bad pawn move of 3... b4, in what usually turns out to be merely temporary support of the threatened pawn at c4
    1. d4 d5
    2. c4 dxc4
    3. e3 b4
White then has a good pawn structure, while black has a bad pawn structure, regardless of what black has done on turn 3. White can thereafter make better use than black of 960 elo combined bishop and knight and pawn tactics, since white's pawns are better located.
Short version: White should once in a while intentionally try out an opening move of 1. d4, in hopes of getting in some practice with making use of the 960 elo pawn and bishop technique of "uncovering a bishop attack". Black eventually learns, once white gets good enough, that 2... dxc4 is a bad idea for black, with 2... c6 being a better idea for black. Both white and black then improve their chess game skills from their resulting experience with bishop and knight and pawn combined tactics battles.

A goal for a 640 elo or higher player should be to be able, unless trolling or being trolled, to play the 1st two moves of the Queen's opening like a pro.
An example is the 1st two moves of a recent January 2025 chess game between the World Chess Champion, Gukesh Dommaraju, playing as white, and a grandmaster named Vincent Keymer playing as black.
      1. d4 Nf6
      2. c4 e6
      They were all textbook moves.
Even the World Chess Champion lays down troll moves once in a while however.
If black lays down a troll move on move 1 after the Queen's Pawn opening, white has it easy, since 2. c4 is still usually a good move for white.
Black does not have it so easy on move 2 however if white has trolled on move 2. Half the time, black will then need to respond with something other than 2... e6.
When neither 640 or higher elo player is trolling though, the World Chess Champion and his grandmaster opponent set a wonderful example to follow with the Queen's Pawn opening.

Seek Jesus before it’s too late, and believe in your hearts that He is God & was raised from the dead in 3 days

I love you all and I pray that each and everyone of you get to know Jesus Christ and may have an encounter with Him. Stay blessed family❤️.
