Yes, gaming industry has been in the top form and as of right now its more popular medium due to the fact that we are living in digital age where technology make us tick, obviously, you can point that at the film industry also, but movies get repetitive in stories while games are developing great narratives. Last of Us for example is the real fucking deal. But still, we can't live without the movies, man!

I'd say video games have had great immersive stories since the early 2000s: Metal Gear Solid series, Halo series, Mass Effect, Deus Ex, Resident Evil, Shadow of the Colossus, Ninja Gaiden, Half Life, Gears of War, God of War, Uncharted, Assassins Creed, Last of Us, GTA, Red Dead series etc.

Hi John, it's a weird thing, but you can buy True Lies on blu ray from spain. It has just been released there and only there, of course with english language selection, and I just bought it online myself. Looks and sounds pretty good compared to the original dvd.
