swap that ikelos for cold heart, and put on the blinding fragment. that way, everytime you get a kill while amped you blind everything around what you killed. with the resistance fragment, you basically can survive anything. otherwise, this is what I run all the time, and it melts even without surges. if you have the lmg from spire with voltshot, it gets even better as it can blind upon kills while amped and proc voltshot.
What fragment would you recommend replacing with it. The spark of magnitude here is better replaced with amplitude cause it allows for insane orb production which helps keep abilities up so I went with that as having 2 grenades out is better than 1 longer grenade. Resistance is a requirement as you mention for survival and shock is required to maximize the grenade damage. So the only option for replacement is ions or amplitude as resistance and shock should stay for maximum defense and damage. Ions is redundant with electrostatic mind but allows for 2 ionic traces giving 30% ability energy and they track but they're exclusively for you. Amplitude allows for massive orb production but each only gives 4% grenade energy with this build, but if you toss in absolution you can get 8% grenade and 4% everything else plus if you sacrifice the surges and toss in recuperation you have a massively reliable healing ability. Having amplitude in solo content is helpful as it helps with healing if you use a recuperation plus it's helpful in team content because it provides everyone with so many orbs. And Ions is great in solo content as it allows for tons of ability spam and helpful in team content because again tons of ability spam. Blinding is amazing for dealing with unstoppable and literally everything else so it's an obvious choice to use but I for the life of me can't figure out what fragment is best to replace. They're both great in solo and team content for various reasons.
@@sixbestgamer6223 Fair, id use ghoul but ive heard so many people say it's bad since the nerf. Is it still pretty strong? I have tried out delicate tomb either yet.
@FactorOppolis It's really good for farming Ionic Traces, but it's not the best dealing alot of damage, so i recommend having a good Arc Heavy to fill in that hole
Such a great build! I’ve been running a similar one this season and having a blast. Thunderlord pairs really well if you use spark of beacons, it will constantly create blinding explosions since you’re always amplified, in addition to its amazing ad clear ability and single target damage if you have the catalyst. Also another great voltshot option is the Path of Least Resistance trace rifle. Running double specials will ensure you always have heavy ammo available. Edit: Delicate Tomb, Coldheart, and the Terminus Horizon machine gun w/ voltshot are also great weapon options
Yeah double special is really strong right now! I don't think I've taken off double special this season except for certain champion stuns and exotic synergies
Wow, I went into regular Avalon to test it and it took me about 20 minutes to get the hang of it. Surviving is was not the biggest probem but doing it while shooting the cubes etc was a little bit tricky. After a while I really could stand in the middle of the firestorm and survive while being pounded from all sides. For Avalon I had to change to a machine gun to get the snipers down but that still worked. My usual play style is staying back, manage the enemies and try to counter when being chased. This build forces me to be offensive, use my abilities when I have them rather than using then as a backup / saftey net. Even though it is stressful at the beginning I like it better so.
This is by far my favorite buildcrafting channel... I can't wait to hop online and try this build out. Thanks so much for all these great ideas!!! Are we going to get a new hunter stasis build soon???
Yes! I've been playing Revenant quite a bit in Master Glassway this week. I'll be honest - it's not as good as it was before the finisher change. But I almost have it in a spot where I'd feel good releasing it as a build video.
Great to hear!!! Dude I put this together with 100 resil and went right to Terminal overload, I was blown away at not only the damage but the ability regen, it was bonkers. You knocked it out of the park with this one.
Looking forward to trying this. Not touched arc this season yet on Warlock. Nice to see this amonst the ocean of same old, same old builds that everyone else pumps out 👌🏼
I hadn’t intended on using Arc again so soon but this build is what I’ll be using next. I haven’t done the vex glaive mission yet but I’ll be using this build for sure ⚡️⚡️⚡️
Gut feeling next season will be Arc Stasis artifact mods. I love Arclock! Has the most satisfying neutral game just wish the supers were a little better.
stormdancers brace helps a bit with tickle fingers super, I just wish this particular super had the damage resistance of nova warp. you are neigh unkillable while in you nova warp super. especially with devour active.
Path to least resistance is a trace rifle that can gain volt shot imo its a better Ikelos smg because of ammo economy in light fall which makes double special builds even better so consider using this weapon as another weapon for this build.
I prefer to use Coldheart as my primary gun because it will constantly shock everything and give traces back at a pretty crazy rate due to it's perk. I also like to use Crown of Tempests because it gives a pretty crazy regen when you kill with abilities or anything that is Jolted.
Those are both good options too! I prefer Sunstar because of the team utility and nonreliance on timing, but Crown of Tempests definitely has a higher ceiling.
@@Dorvarich I use crown of tempests because I don't have the other helmet, but it's pretty good considering you can get a triple stack from a single ability cast (typically the grenade or arc soul)
The best part is that storm caller has two exotic helmets for this setup. There's the one in this video, and there's also crown of tempests, that makes all ability + jolted enemy kills give a stacking Regen buff to all abilities which stacks with ionic traces, so you basically have half the rng on farming an exotic helmet.
I'm so glad I found your channel. Your dance of death hunter build is my best build and I can't wait for more content from you. Also your voice is awesome, if you keep making these videos I'll keep watching.
I run essentially this, except I prefer tickle fingers for ad clear - and my exotic tends to be the Stag. 25-35% damage reduction while standing in a rift is incredible in basically any content. You can facetank basically anything, and you still get a ton of traces and a ton of ability energy, if not quite the wild amounts that Sunstar gives you. There's also the Crown build, of course - that also gets you huge uptime on everything but also kicks back a ton of super energy. Either is viable, and which you run is really personal choice. For me, it's Stag.
I just started playing warlock (hunter main) and have limited exotics, but i tied void and solar, then settled on a build similar to this and I find it more fun. I have to use crown of tempest (i think its called that), still works like a champ, I will give yours a try for sure!
Same, I'm a die hard hunter main, and I've started playing my Warlock more partly for the Fallen Sunstar fashion and because of how fun and powerful arc Warlock is (even though the supers are absolute cheeks)
Awesome! I’ve been running so much strand lately, it will be nice to switch it up. I always enjoyed running arc, but it sort of fell out of fashion with warlocks.
Love the neutral game on arc warlock, idk why people say it’s underrated, it’s pretty much a great base gameplay experience and builds like this makes the whole kit shine.
Because as you said the neutral game is good but the chaos reach simply sucks. Geomags are even a downside in harder content because you simply are standing still in the air for even more time with the lowest damage resistance in the game. It's excellent for ad clear but you don't have a insta panic button like the other classes so it pales in comparison
Glad to hear it! It's definitely not on the same level as something like Starfire, but it's still extremely strong and plenty capable in endgame content.
I’ll definitely be using this build but switch the helmet for Geomags! Chaos Reach is just a total letdown and I need taht extra oomph for it. Awesome build man!
Falling Sunstar is great and all, but I find myself running Verity's Brow more often. The energy regen is more or less the same, especially when you have the Spark that creates Ionics from energy weapon kills. Plus, the grenade damage chunks enemies and bosses, and is supportive to teammates giving them increased grenade regen when you throw a grenade which is all of the time. Still though, nice build.
Dorvarich, don't be down about your vid "Flopping" I thought it was good. I've always appreciated your builds and liked this one too. Plus how you usually talk about why you made the choices you made and don't sound like you are the only source for good info (your info is great but some people sound like they think their audience is dumb). That being said I wish you had mentioned why you went with fallen sunstar over crown of tempest, but that's just me... As always please keep up the great work. Looking forward to the next one!
Thanks for the support! About the Fallen Sunstar choice over Crown of Tempests, I prefer Sunstar because it's not sensitive to timing, and it also directly benefits our teammates. Crown of Tempests definitely has higher potential energy generation though.
Dawg I literally was telling my buddy about arc warlock is op. I run get away artist for constant arc buddy. It’s insane but I’ll def try this one out 🤞🤞
This build is awesome been using it awhile and yes it is end game capable. As a warlock main I'm tired of playing solar in end game activities and everyone things I'm crazy when they see me rocking this and then about halfway through the raid their like oh I get it now.
Have been playing this build since Arc 3.0 but then with the Delicate Tomb.. Can’t understand why people did not talk about this more.. it makes u an add removing machine!
I've been struggling to decide between stormcaller and broodwever for a main. I think both are very fun so I just haven't been able to decide. would certainly like a bit more survivability in both, but as long as you remember your rift you're ok most of the time, other than that I just find arc supers a bit disappointing, Edit: decided for arc since I found it more consistent in legend content and above. Now I just need a good fallen sun star since crown doesn't get the job done as well as it does.
Agreed, I really hope the arc supers get buffed. Chaos Reach looks 10/10 cool, but it's got a solid 4/10 functionality. At least it's better than Stormtrance...
Hi thanks for sharing this information on this build, love this warlock build on this, it's one of the best ark build I have seen, I have titan builds, but this one on the warlock is unreal, thanks 👍.
Some exotics like this one are exclusively obtained from Legend and Master level Lost Sectors. Every day there's a different lost sector that's the daily rotator, and if you go there you'll find a flag outside that lets you launch it at higher difficulty. If you play solo, you have about a 1/4 chance to get an exotic for a Platinum clear (all champions defeated). But of course RNG is gonna RNG. You'll have hot streaks and cold streaks, and it can get a little annoying.
Hi, I don't have the ikelos smg because I didn't play during season of the seraph. Would the riskrunner be a good substitute and why/why not. Build looks mad, I will definitely try it out once I start playing on Warlock.
Riskrunner is really good! It doesn't apply Jolt, but if you slot in Spark of Discharge in place of Spark of Ions you'll generate a ton of Ionic Traces so the lack of Jolt won't really matter.
i was just wondering what about artifact mods ill be honest and say i skipped parts of the vid because at the time of me writing this arc is the surge so im kinda clueless and ur dim link doesnt show it
A question though, do you think this build can hold up in GMs as you simply can't play as aggressive in GMs and are forced to play a bit slower / carefully?
Last season I used this build in GM's quite a bit. With the new changes to GM's that came this season, I'm still confident that this build will hold up well despite there being no Arc Surge modifiers in rotation. I used this the other day in Master Glassway and it felt great, and Master is honestly harder than GM this season because an annoying modifier makes things a lot harder than an additional -5 power.
I like to use a very similar build (sadly i dont have the exotic helmet yet) and its still a lot of fun to use and feels pretty good, not quite on the level of a proper strand or solar warlock build, but def competing with void and stasis imo
Thumb done saying it competes with voodoo warlock with controversy holds weakening everything void just feels so much better man devour I mean lol come on man
All of the builds I’ve seen from you are amazing. I got into a discussion earlier during a raid about Titan and I realized I miss using Skullfort and shoulder charge. I’ve tried really hard to try thinking of something that could be viable, but I’ve had no luck as the new mod system is still weird to me and I struggle to focus on it.
Used pretty much this exact build when it was fresh last season. From low content, up to GMs. It's still REALLY good. I think current power of stasis and void are shadowing it rn
I think it's because Hunter and Titan both made a huge splash when Arc 3.0 landed, and Warlock felt pretty underwhelming. It was already decent IMO, and it's gotten nothing but buffs since then
I have a semi better arc stats than dorva? oh sht. Mine ends up being T10 RES/T8 REC/T10 Discipline. I farmed the absolute hell out of pit the past few days with my warlock, worth it.
Joguei a temporada passada inteira com arcano de arc. Era ainda mais forte com a finalização gerando 4 poços de arc. A única coisa não tão boa é o super. O resto é extremamente forte.
And so it begins… I knew this build at some point through light fall will get attention again. This build has been potent the day this exotic has been released but the Destiny community are like sheep just waiting ready being told what to do lol. This game has so much "slept on" builds that it ain’t even funny.

This build works well with the Delicate Tomb exotic weapon since it both jolts and generates ionic traces
Coldheart is a much better choice
@FactorOppolis How bout Trinity Ghoul with catalyst? And then for high damage you can use something like a good shotgun or fusion rifle

Thumb done saying it competes with voodoo warlock with controversy holds weakening everything void just feels so much better man devour I mean lol come on man
Lol I'm not changing the Grammer is gold btw
All of the builds I’ve seen from you are amazing. I got into a discussion earlier during a raid about Titan and I realized I miss using Skullfort and shoulder charge. I’ve tried really hard to try thinking of something that could be viable, but I’ve had no luck as the new mod system is still weird to me and I struggle to focus on it.
Used pretty much this exact build when it was fresh last season. From low content, up to GMs. It's still REALLY good. I think current power of stasis and void are shadowing it rn
Arc warlock has always been top tier in my eyes. I do t see how people sleep on this.
I think it's because Hunter and Titan both made a huge splash when Arc 3.0 landed, and Warlock felt pretty underwhelming. It was already decent IMO, and it's gotten nothing but buffs since then
same here, arc lock is very good and we don't even have any surges this season.
I have a semi better arc stats than dorva? oh sht. Mine ends up being T10 RES/T8 REC/T10 Discipline. I farmed the absolute hell out of pit the past few days with my warlock, worth it.
Haha yeah, I don't play that much Warlock. It's a really, really good class - I just much prefer the Hunter and Titan power fantasies.
I just assumed it was a joke because it was April Fool's Day. Didn't watch any videos for new builds yesterday. 😂
You can definitely use this build in every part of the have and perform well, but unfortunately Starfire protocol literally exists
See you in the next one 😊
Slept on basic ass arc build we all run already. The actual slept on exotic is the ol Jesus crown
Been there, done that
rad build my d00d
If you have the catalyst for trinity ghoul their is literally nothing in the game that's better at ad clear
Since ur abilities were on cooldown, they're not unlimited.
Joguei a temporada passada inteira com arcano de arc. Era ainda mais forte com a finalização gerando 4 poços de arc. A única coisa não tão boa é o super. O resto é extremamente forte.
Watching how slow you kill the ads while saying how insane the build is hurt my soul..
If you're looking for someone who demos builds in patrol zones instead of master lost sectors you're in the wrong place.
And so it begins… I knew this build at some point through light fall will get attention again. This build has been potent the day this exotic has been released but the Destiny community are like sheep just waiting ready being told what to do lol. This game has so much "slept on" builds that it ain’t even funny.
4 min intro for 10 min video xd 😂😆👍
