Just bought one and installed yesterday. With I7 12700 non k. Works very well and with power limits removed the cpu runs fast. Pull around 130-160 watt during cinebench so thats good. Temps Are 60 MAX with 280 artic freeezer II
CPU support is listed here… www.msi.com/Motherboard/PRO-B760-P-DDR4/support#cpu 🙂 12400 was on the last page of i5 results - it is supported if you’ve got the right version of the BIOS.
Yes, it's the same socket, but the BIOS need to be updated to "7E29v12" or newer version, as it adds support for 14th gen in that update. It may or may not come with that update. My board came with this update and i could use 14th gen out of the box, if the motherboard does not have this update out of the box, you need a 12th or 13th gen CPU to access the BIOS and do the update, after the update, it will support 14th gen CPUs.
@@Tegh1989 im getting this board with a 12th gen, would you say I should update BIOS for stability anyways? I dont like messing with the BIOS version but seems pretty straightforward (coming from an Asus board I was wondering if it would be equally as easy)

Does it have wifi?
This version doesn't. But I think they do make one with wi-fi.

Not sponsored btw... just being helpful.

Does this also support 14 series after updating
