Omaha hit by flooding causing some cars to get stuck

- Several rounds of severe storms with torrential rainfall resulting in 4 to 8 inches of rainfall across portions of eastern Nebraska, including the Omaha metro. Just north of 72nd and Maple, the rising waters were simply too much for cars and trucks that were on the road during the height of the storm. Drivers got trapped and had to leave their cars and get out of harms way. Craig Nigrelli went to the scene and has the details. (Credit: WOWT via NBC)

I am in Council Bluffs, we have a large swath of streets under water on either side of the Union Pacific tracks and from about 3 blocks north of Broadway to the interstate.
They are having to re-route school buses to get kids home (just had one of the smaller buses use my driveway to turn around) Last i knew N16th to I 29 was closed because the water was too deep and impassable on either side of the train tracks that crosses N16th.
Have not been out since, but i am going to assume there are lots of houses with flooded basements and cars that won't function
Car won't start = the "engine's flooded". Lol
If storm drain is cleared storm water near storm drain drains faster safer.
