- Birb Squad! Welcome to my morning routine with my green cheek conure and quaker parrot. This part of my day is honestly the calmest most relaxing part of the entire day. I love spending my mornings with these two clowns as I get ready to start my busy day.
In this morning routine video, I also give you birbs a little insight on my life as I show you more of my family and how much fun we have together. Yes, we have our bad days and there are times I want to punch myself in the face, but overall we have a lot of happy times together and wouldn't trade it for the world.
I hope you all enjoy this video as it is very special to me and I'm very thankful I get to share it with you all. Thank you for letting me be myself and have fun with you.

I'm just waking up and I have 4 green cheek conures and one quaker parrot they are still asleep in their sleeping carriers. I love when they wake up in the morning. I think I'm providing an ok home cause they do seem excited each morning to get up and get going to their indoor play area. We have a small aviary they spend some time in to get adequate sun and chat to wild birds. None of my birds are showing signs of wanting to fly away at the moment but when I first got my 2 rescues they both desperately wanted to be wild. It's been 2 years since I adopted the first cage crazed negkected conure and almost 1 year since adopting the second and each have settled in and stopped longing to fly away and be wild.

Thanks Wendy!!! Actually when I first got Yoshi he would eat nothing but apples, millet, and his pellets. Now he will eat anything and everything which is a blessing and a curse! 😅 Popples has always eaten veggies very well no problem. Which Birdy of yours doesn't eat veggies as well??

Hi Victoria,i have 6 months old green cheek,he is hands raised and mostly out of the cage.So i was thinking of getting a blue quacker but im not sure ,will they be good together ?Do i need to have different cages ?I keep mine green cheek in the bedroom ,can i keep the cages in the same room ?Thank you!
Definitely get different cages. Even if they get along most bird prefer their own cage. Green cheeks are also known to be very attached to one person as well so your green cheek may not like a new bird.

So this is a horrible story but.....: my friend got a green cheek conure then continued to tell me that they feed it every 2 weeks because that’s all they need or something like that (I almost exploded) then they had only had the bird for a little while and their brother feel asleep with the bird rolled over it and squished it and now it is dead...... they had the bird for like 2 months

Haha I love squakee!! That's awesome you rescued and super exciting. Well my biggest piece of advice would be to not take everything personal. He's going to be fussy at times, territorial, and possibly even a little stand offish at times. But just remember he doesn't hate you and you're not a bad bird owner. As long as there's love in your heart, you'll be just fine and so will he 😊 keep me updated on how both of you are doing and I'm really excited for you!!! Quaker sistas 🥰

On my first visit, i was in awe that he let me hold him without hesitation. I wasnt expecting anything but when he did that, i was like yup, birbie is mine.
Since my cage arrives on the 8th, I may get him earlier. No point of having an empty cage for 3 weeks lol.thank you for reaching out.

Yeah I believe I ended up putting a few of those in there. Yoshi is obsessed over them. He used to be picky and wouldn't touch greens but now he eats everything lol hopefully your sun will come around and try them!!!

We went for a walk after filming this so I had the harness on ahead of time 😊 he's sensitive to leash and collar so this harness helps with that

Victoria Ryann - that coffee maker was running a bit slow? I would have had a caffeine freak out before it was done 🤯😂 my daughter had the same model and I hated it but she said it was my fault cuz I can’t see without my glasses and I’d choose the wrong setting 😂

Victoria Ryann we just got a plain old Mr Coffee from WalMart for 24 bucks and I looooove it!!! We used the preset button so I get it ready before bed and when we wake up the coffee is done. Heaven 👐
