I hid the circles that change color/opacity, is there a button to make them show up again? Additionally, this tutorial was so helpful, I really appreciate it!
Hi, Thanks! I'm glad it helped! You can go to the window option on the very top menu and select color puck, if the option has a checkmark you should now be able to see it.

I minimize those toggle bar in the top how can i put it back?
Hi, you can go to Window and then select Toolbar on the upper menu of your computer, make sure the checkmark is on and you should be able to see the menu once again. You'll find the other menus like the layers and brush palette right there as well.
how many layers can i open? In one document
As far as I know, there's no limit. I just made a test on a new document and added over 100 layers in blank. However once there's info on those layers I suppose it can only handle as much as the computer lets you with a heavy document. Hope it helps!
