Sketchbook is a very underrated program. I appreciate your videos.I know some people are upset because the new owners are charging for it, but come on, $25 and its yours. I use it to sketch out things, export as PSD (photoshop) then import it into Rebelle for painting.

Thank you for your kind words! I’m glad you like the videos and find them useful. I agree, it also allows for the rapid sketching of ideas and the quick sharing of them with others, especially on an iPad, where the mobile versions are actually free. This is particularly useful for industrial designers or other professionals in similar fields.

I use an iPad Pro tablet…things look different for me….I wonder if it is because of settings or the different platform? I don’t see that little star icon as I draw

Hi Rebecca! Yes, it's slightly different the version for iPad. I use the desktop version. For the iPad version it will detect the movement of the pen or finger on the screen and you'll be guiding yourself as if it was a piece of real paper and pen. For the desktop version I use a separate tablet and the star icon comes by default to see where I'm moving the pen from the external tablet without looking at it. Hope it helps! If you're working on a perspective drawing and if you have any question or comment let me know how it goes! :)
