I love this song, and the guitar. i dont have an 8 string. i have a guitar thats pathetic as shit for stuff like this. its a half squier half first act, with a Dean pickup, and NO controls whatsoever. its been painted, set on fire, thrown,dragged, its a true frankenstrat. only pics would show how ghetto it is. but it plays great! i just got a set of strings for a 7 string and a 70 gauge bass string. what gauges are your strings..
Your a great player and thats an amazing guitar, but mabye a bit too much gain in this video? Your bleed cover was perfect \m/. Did you pick all the specs for the guitar yourself? Because its absoloutly gorgeous, I couldn't think of a way to make it any better.

Both ESP and Ibanez offer 8 string models so even if you don't have the money for a custom guitar u can buy an 8 string

When you learned the riff at the beginning, is there some sort of actual pattern to it, or did you just have to memorize the whole thing?
There's some sort of obscure pattern to it. After a while it just comes natural without really thinking about it :)
