Lordi has been around for 20 years and they still rock. Mr Lordi and Amen the only 2 original Remaining members, the rest are replacements. I also like how they updated their costumes over the years.

Tbh as Long lordi excists it always have been Amen and mr.lordi beeing the Core of the Band somehow all Others are always Not there for a Long time but for the First time i also have a Good feeling that Hella Gonna Stay for ever .

Seen them in Paris a few days ago, along with Sabaton and BabyMetal, what a show it was ! Seeing that video brings the memory back !
I’d say it still a good show. I mean like Lordi usually play medium sized venues to die hards but here it’s at a main stage festival and the crowd are clearly digging it. Festivals are exhausting so can’t give 100% every band but I’d say the crowd is at least hella sick for a Lordi show! Great setlist too! Jealous I couldn’t of been there!

Leider immer noch eine viel zu unterschätze Band. Super sympathische Truppe mit einem Augenzwinkern und Wortwitz, der teilweise seinesgleichen sucht. Hail to the Monsters! :)
Ist eine Hard Rock Legende und wird es es auch immer bleiben. Wobei ich in deren Kostümen vermutlich schon nach dem ersten Song auf dem Zahnfleisch kriechen würde^^.

Yeah for sure, I saw em live in a tiny little venue and legit one of the best shows I've ever seen. Sounded just as clear as the album, plus these guys are jokers live.

I would like to but my ears are extremely sensitive,
because I have a super hearing.
Wear earplugs and it will be fine, you can also use drummer earplugs and you will hear them low, usually at shows I don't get my foam plugs full into the ear because sound gets to low for me, i started wearing earplugs after watching lordi at a small venue in 2015, loudest show i've ever been (the following times they lowered the volume)
So sad that the crowd don't know who these legends of Shock Rock are, they're like a Gwar Hard Rockers.
Interesting assumption, Lordi are well-known in Germany. I first saw them live in 2003...
theyre like gwar if gwar were humorless germans: ''vot iz zo fanny? ve are munsters ve are scary!'' they are like gwar without everything that makes gwar amazing. to even put them in the same box is very shallow. considering they are both two completely different things and the only similar thing they share is monster costumes.

Lordi sounds fine, the crowd is embarrassingly dead, like a bunch of rocks. Also I feel Sexorcism was a bad song choice to use to open with, but ah well, that's just my opinion.

I asume that people who comment on a Lordi video mostly is actually fans of Lordi so maybe it isn´t as big of a suprise to you guy how good of a band Lordi actually is!?
I loved Hard Rock Hallelulja and some of the other classics like Devil Is a LOser and Blood Red Sandman when I was a kid, especially the videos. But like a year or two ago I decided to just explore them, while they are pretty uneven in my opinion, they do have some really cool songs. I especially was very VERY, impressed with the Lordiversity collection. It´s really not to be understated, that whole project is fucking incredably impressive. They nailed the sound of the songs and productions on each of those styles. Superflytrap, Skelectric Dinosaur and Abracadaver is my favorites! I get ridiculed by my friends when ever I bring up Lordi and that they are actually good. Because to them and myself as well before I dug a little deeper, they were the ridiculus horror band in stupid outfits that did Hard Rock Hallelulja in Eurovision on 2006.

One guitarist is enough if the tone is thick and heavy enough for example like in Nightwish

Soundboard audio. You're hearing audio that was mixed for a live crowd, condensed into mp3 format...it's always going to sound strange. Only way to make a live concert sound good is to multi-track the performance and then mix/master it in a studio.
They do have a second guitarist. A ghost.
They're not bad. Their songs are catchy and fun. I'm a GWAR fan just checking them out. I think they're more Iron Maiden- or KISS-influenced than anything else.
