He never sang backing vocals live due to how his mask was designed which was how they made up for it. He also created a lot of the vocal arrangements when he was with them. They did have a bit of a Milli Vanilli style incident with the backing track once.
As far as i know (reading the lordi book) they never sing back vocals live. All the mics are just props. Due to the fact that mr. Lordi has said that amen and ox were both quite bad singers. I know this comment is over a year old but i wanted to tell if you still read this

I just realised how much their songs lose without proper choirs . The way the vocals have been organised is for a choir to push the main melody with Mr Lordi in the background doing the lower notes. Great concert and performance but a bit disappointed by the lack of choirs in this concert (apart from the almost inaudible pre-recorded ones)

Obejrzałem też WDR Rockpalast państwowej telewizji niemieckiej; to jest Open Air festival ale to jest całkiem inny nastrój na koncercie. Tam nikt nie tańczy i kibice tyle co w ogóle nie biorą udziału w koncercie. Nie ma też sto lat i dziękuję tak jak na Pol*and*Rock. Niemcy mają inny temperament jak polacy. Pol*and*Rock jest jednak najpiękniejszym festiwalem na świecie. Pozdrowienia dla Jurka Ogórka i Pol*and*Rock,
@@leopardus1201 Yup. His time in the band had been challenging ever since the early 2010s with the departure of Ava and Kita, their financial worries and the death of OTUS. He started acting very toxic and abusing alcohol to an extent where Lordi had to ban him from drinking during tours (he was sober for a while but continued drinking after a while). He tried to do better because he really loved the character Amen, and Lordi knew people love Amen so they kept on giving him second chances. At some point, they just accepted that they´ll have to kick AMEN out and Amen understood that. They are in good terms nowadays. Amen´s toxicity and the things he said to OX is one of the main reasons why OX left the band in 2019. This all was detailed in the book "Lordiary", which contains the whole story from Amen´s point of view, as well as from the other bandmembers´s points of view.
He got dragged around from his hair as a young guy by some idiots and his hair hasn't grown regularly since. Ironic that the place where that shit happened is the now "Lordi's Square" in Rovaniemi.
