This is truly one of the best done sewing videos I've ever seen -- even better than many, many television shows. It was filmed beautifully, so it was easy to see the parts of the machine as it was threaded, and the instructions were clear and confident. At this very minute, my serger is laying dormant after I failed in threading the needless. I am taking my laptop to the sewing room and watching this again step by step. A heartfelt thankyou to Sewing Parts Online!

As a person who watches as many of the UA-cam sewing tutorials as possible, I can honestly say that this video is one of the best videos online. I'm finding the same with your other videos. Thanks.

Thank you so much for making this video. I got my serger two weeks ago and it has been in time out ever since. I am no longer angry with it and have completed my first project since viewing this tutorial two hours ago. I can't thank you enough.

Thank you so much for this fantastic and so thorough tutorial!!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 My dear girl blessings to you forever!🤗 I bought this serger machine from a dear lady, that had too much trouble threading it. She told me that for the time she owned it, she only used it with just one "thread" as a regular sewing machine. I am new to this machine, and plan to learn to use and enjoy it. You have been so, so very helpful, with this step by step tutorial.

I just wanted to tell you, THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR TEACHING ME HOW TO DO THIS! My husband bought this machine for me 2 years ago for my birthday and because I was so intimidated by it, I never used it. Now I am totally in love with it and keep a shortcut on my desktop to coach me everytime I use it. Thank you once again.

So easy to follow your instructions. Bought my machine about 4 years ago. Managed to follow manual instructions but it took me so long I gave up and put the machine in a cupboard. Now we are threaded and ready to go. Thankyou for your easy to follow tutorial.

I have the same serger as you and it came threaded. I failed to put the presser foot down and the thread broke!!! Tried and tried and tried to rethread using the manual. Was ready to return the machine and give up. Then I found this video!!! It took me a few more tries, but I've got it now!!!! Successfully rethreading one time was all the confidence I needed. Thank you so much!!

excellent tutorial and video production - I was struggling with the 'easy' part of threading my NEW Singer serger. I threaded and used my first, ancient Singer serger, no problem. Then learned to sew 20 minutes later on my new Brother sewing machine. But for some reason, threading through the back hooks below the cones of this new Singer serger was giving me a tad bit o' trouble. Thank you for this!

Thank you so much for this concise tutorial!!!
I do not use my serger very often and it seems to always be a battle of wills, to get it to cooperate.
Thank you for pointing out the different levels of the needles and for showing the threading. I had been trying to thread my lower looper first. Threading the upper looper first, and pulling each thread under the foot was the key.
    I cannot thank you enough!

Thank you so, so, much for this very well detailed and presented video. I am new to using a serger/overlocker, and I have this very same one that you are demonstrating on. The first time I used it, the bottom looper thread burst, and I was having a challenging time re-threading it. The instructions and diagram on the machine confused me as to where I had to run the thread when I came close to the presser foot area. After watching this video, I realized that I was putting the thread in the wrong groove.

Thank you so much for this. If you're taking questions for video ideas, I just can't seem to keep my loopers threaded. Most of the thread paths are fine, but it's just the last hole for both that give me trouble. The part that makes me feel crazy is that the thread isn't breaking. It still continuing to come out -- it's just somehow managed to magically pull itself out of the hole with leaving any trace as to how.
I've owned my serger for 24 hours and I thought I was doing so well yesterday at learning how to thread it -- then once I started trying to figure out the tension, it all went down hill. I can't keep it threaded, and even when I do, it's not chaining at all.
