Thank you for this tutorial. I have had this server since 2015 and tried to use it just one time. I kept it in the original box and haven't used it since 2015 because I was always intimidated by it. I thought it was too difficult to thread. Thank you for this tutorial because it will help me to put my server to use. I've had it long enough and it's about time for me to get busy 😉💗💗💗

This video, which is specific to my serger, plus your Craftsy class "Serger Solutions: Troubleshooting Techniques" has turned me into a serger fan! The serger into one of my favorite pieces of creative equipment. Thank you for your clear instructions!

On a whim I bought this Singer serger yesterday and I was feeling a bit intimated until I found your videos. Thank you so much for being so clear. Looking forward to watching all of them.

Maxilock all purpose polyester thread works well. Spoolnets over the thread cones help also. Once my serger was out of warranty, my trusted machine repair shop, rewired the light for a LED bulb which was great.

Thank you! You saved my serger from being thrown out in a snowbank! I was having no trouble threading the machine correctly, but I could not get a chain started. Running the threads over the foot, starting the needles in cloth, and then sewing made all the difference. Other videos and even the manual that came with the machine do not show to do it that way.

Your video is extremely helpful. I have an old Singer Easy Lock 432 and your youtube really helped me figure it out. I love your tips about using the tweezers at the end of the thread and your links, above, to good serging thread etc. You are an excellent teacher.

I got mine second hand and I followed your tutorial. Thank you. The thread seems to keep coming out of the 4th step of the second thread part whenever I need to serge so it's not serging anything at all because of it. what could be the issue?

I'm left handed and threading was a major issue! Thanks for your tip on tweezers cause using my cricut angled tweezer I already had helped me get the job done! Very informative and easy to understand your videos!

Fantastic! I just bought one of these for $64 at a thrift store. It seems to be new and never used. It came with everything but the box and was still threaded as you show in your videos. I wanted to use black thread to mend a garment I have and your instructions were so easy to follow and I got it all done right the first go and was able to mend my shirt!!! I do have a question though, the only trouble I had was lining up my fabric with the needles to get it to start and stitch in the correct place. I also swung the cutter up because I didn't need any of the fabric cut off. What's the best way to line up something that has already been sewn to get the seam line in the same place. Thanks!!

Ok I’m having a first time issue with this machine and I’m unsure what’s going on! It’s been sewing well the last 2 years I’ve thread it properly and it hasn’t given me any issues! The last two times I’ve tried to use it it hasn’t been sewing correctly I’ve re threaded it so many times and still the same results! I’m not sure what’s wrong! HELP! 😂

I just bought one of these machines and am very grateful for your videos. Sad to say , very respectfully, but the BLACK AND WHITE PHOTOS ARE VERY BLURRED IN THE MANUAL. Hope that Singer can change it. If it were not for your videos I would have had to return the machine.

I have this machine (2 years) and I have had nothing but trouble with it. The straight needles simply will not stay threaded. I have changed the needles, threaded and re-threaded it again and again and it simply will not stay threaded. I have watched video after video and played the demo disc time and time again. No help. I am NOT a beginner sewer. I have been sewing since I was 14 and I am now 68. Maybe the timing is off or I just got a lemon but I have had trouble since day one. No more. I'm selling it and getting a Brother. And good riddance.
