The ancient Siddheswar temple is a west facing mahadev temple situated atop Siddheswar hill near Naraj barrage, talagara village, Cuttack, Odisha. The temple is adjacent to the river bank of mighty Mahanadi. It is believed that Arjuna installed the shiv linga and worshipped to get sidhi, as a result of which the deity is named Siddheswar.
It is around 14 kms from Cuttack and 36 kms from the state capital of Bhubaneswar. Siddheswar is also considered as one of the Sambhus of the Astasambhus situated in and around. Nestled on hilltop amidst greenery along the beautiful river Mahanadi, this place attracts thousand of devotees all around the globe every year.
