Beautiful Fifth wheel, but I totally agree with the dislikes. No one wants to keep kicking the slide out in the kitchen, especially while cooking, and yes, it definitely needs an awning on the side.
Hi Matt and Wil! My dislikes are the same as yours. I agree with Wil on the valances to me you don’t see too much of the window. And I agree with the awning for outside on the slide. My likes are the kitchen and the layout and cabinetry and the bathroom and the bedroom closet. Thank you Matt and Wil.
This is a terrific RV. It has a lot of great features, I love the living and kitchen areas, the closet with a W/D hookup and the large shower. One cabinet door in the bathroom doesn't match, add an awning to the slide out to increase outside shade area and the steps should be upgraded.
I bet the “prep”in the kitchen island is for a dishwasher rather than a washer dryer combo. Till Further Notice traded their grand design solitude for this fifth wheel in order to downsize. They never had issues with the Grand Design. They’ve had nothing but problems with the Van Leigh.
I have been watching them for a while, and it's so sad the amount of problems they have had with the Van Leigh ... Probably should have stayed with the Grand Design or fought for it to be deemed a lemon... At $115,000 this is not worth the money...
Matt, while the toilet passed the PPPP test for you would it pass for Wil? There didn’t seem to be much leg room. I like the teak seat in the shower vs. a molded in seat. Flipping it up allows for extra room for bigger people.
I know you all don't like the non flush slide in the kitchen, I, however like it. Having leg and feet problems, when I cook I like to be able to rest one foot one the slide plate. at my home , my husband made me a little "kick plate" that I could move from the stove to the sink, so I would have a foot rest. so for me this is awesome
Used to love these but after seeing till further notice’s trouble with theirs and the non stop issues definitely sketched out by them now. Nice to look at tho
this unit was beautiful but way out of my price range. just started watching your videos and enjoy them and that you guys are more my size lol to get an actual size like in the showers
LIKE THE KITCHEN THE LIVING ROOM THE CABINETS COLORS DON’T LIKE NO AWNING OVER THE DINETTE SIDE THE SMALL STEP IN THE KITCHEN MATT THAT’S A QUEEN SIZE BED OPTION KING SIZE BED
We’re looking at short 5th wheels…like 30’max. Dislikes: 1. Valances. Just get rid of them! Especially the ones around the bed!! The ones elsewhere look like pillars & as Will said, they infringe upon the space. 2. The slide in the kitchen. Yep a definite toe stubbed 3. Microwave over the stove, why anyone thought that was a good idea is beyond me. Likes: 1. Tiffen…should be well built & last 2. The colour scheme, won’t have to paint this one! (Just remove the valances) 3. Storage. Looks usable & adaptable if needs be
I was going to comment on that... Matt always does that with his dirty shoes... So disgusting... The other thing they do all the time is close the lower cabinets with their feet... Stop kicking the cabinets 🤬
I'll start with dislikes: 1. As others have mentioned, toilet legroom is pretty bad even compared to direct competitors. You could also see how Will had to almost contort himself to get into the shower due to the toilet placement (although the shower size once in looks solid). The bathroom needs a complete re-design and needs to be bigger, even if it lowers the kitchen space a little bit. A larger person or even an average sized man would have very little room to dry themselves once they got out of the shower also. This alone would probably keep me from buying this unit. 2. You are right to praise the room *around* the dining room table but they accomplished this by making the table far too small in terms of width. There is not enough room for two adults to sit across from one another without knees touching and certainly not much room for plates, glasses, etc. on both sides. 3. Agree with you and others about the valances. Classy, but too much. 4. West Lake tires. 'Nuf said. 5. The end tables on either side of the bed are far, far too small. They are bordering on useless. Obviously they are not going to fit large end tables in a king bed unit, but the end tables in Will's Alliance are an example of how to do it right with very limited space. 6. VanLeigh needs to jump on the storage in the sofa end tables bandwagon. Overall, seems like the quality is there overall. Some additional likes beyond the obvious stuff (cabinet quality, decor, etc.): 1. Power cord reel. 2. Love the TV on a televator which gives you the additional window there. 3. I love the compartmentalized pantry versus one big closet-style pantry. 4. Personally like the lack of slide toppers. They should never be standard on any fifth wheel IMHO but always available as an option.
Poor quality control from factory is giving manufacturers a bad name. I bought 80k Forest River and have laundry list of poor quality, fit and finish, refrigerator slide jams into island damaged doors and island.
Beautiful Fifth wheel, but I totally agree with the dislikes. No one wants to keep kicking the slide out in the kitchen, especially while cooking, and yes, it definitely needs an awning on the side.
No dovetail cabinets. I guess you need to go to Brinkley RV to get that.
Excellent video fellas thank you
Love the comfortable furniture, big windows. Nice color. No awning over dinette slide. Great price. Thanks gentlemen!
Does Tiffin offer shelves for their upper cabinets? I only have so many rolls of paper towels to store.
Absolutely, for that price for a small 5th wheel they should have put in shelves in the upper cabinets
Hi Matt and Wil! My dislikes are the same as yours. I agree with Wil on the valances to me you don’t see too much of the window. And I agree with the awning for outside on the slide. Very nice looking unit. Not a fan of the high cabinets but I could live with them.
Really looks nice. My question is why don’t manufacturers put a door on both side of a 5th wheel? Thanks again for another great video.

Getting picky here. I would like some shelves in the taller cabinets in the slide and in the back. Really nice RV.
I bet the “prep”in the kitchen island is for a dishwasher rather than a washer dryer combo. Till Further Notice traded their grand design solitude for this fifth wheel in order to downsize. They never had issues with the Grand Design. They’ve had nothing but problems with the Van Leigh.
That is crazy.
I have been watching them for a while, and it's so sad the amount of problems they have had with the Van Leigh ... Probably should have stayed with the Grand Design or fought for it to be deemed a lemon... At $115,000 this is not worth the money...
Grand design, Montana and Jayco’s are our Favs. They seem to have less problems too!
I really liked this one.
Gen prep will include wiring and a fire box.
Maybe prepped for a dishwasher in the kitchen instead of a washer/ dryer?

That’s Franklin Furniture from Houston Mississippi.
I think there needs to be a prime seated tv position! Bing?
Hey Matt an Will yall are doing a great job. Matt you got a cowlick going on lol
I agree on the valances. I'd break those side pieces, somehow. I just know it. And they end too bluntly. Maybe if they tapered.
Wish you guys was in Australia
Also how about a video of bloopers and deleted scenes??
I know you all don't like the non flush slide in the kitchen, I, however like it. Beautiful ❤️
It should have been built a foot longer for the pantry & linen closet in the bathroom.
only real dislike i noticed besides lack of outside awning, the fuse panel is blocked when slides closed, never a fan of that.
Wish it had more outdoor storage....doesn't seem to have as much as other units I've seen with similar floorplan/layout.
Used to love these but after seeing till further notice’s trouble with theirs and the non stop issues definitely sketched out by them now. Nice to look at tho
Vanleigh always seems like one of the 2 best manufacturer quality for the money.
Just ask till further notice how they like vanleigh. They have had nothing but problems.
Are those "G" rated tires?
It’s dishwasher prep not washer/dryer!!!!
Haha I thought that's what I heard... I guess they don't do the dishes... Or maybe they wash their clothes in a dishwasher 🤣

review a scamp travel trailer.
You forgot to review 🙃 the refrigerator
Nice.
Man, what is wrong with you that you would put your dirty shoes up on the furniture?? That's NOT cool by any stretch.
Glad VanLeigh - still has the real wood look as an option.
I do NOT care for the "show every speck of dust/dirt" look .... just to be "in fashion"...
Texas have the crazy high sales tax
Wait til you see the property taxes.
Texas is low compared to Louisiana. I pay 11% on purchases.
I found no place to enter my info…….??
How can that toilet be a PPP when there is zero leg room .. Will would not be able to use it comfortably along with any normal sized human 🤔
Why does a 40ft 5th wheel have 2x the space of a 40ft Super C?
Nice but there is no place for a CPAP.
And the jump box died again…..only in America🤣

Tiffin makes 5th wheels????????????????????? Since when.
Like SOLID WOOD cabinets, white cabinets and furniture. Dislike balances, too roof,. Great 5er
Nice trailer would not buy it theater seats should be power with heat

That roof is crap!
Small shower, definitely NOT a PPP. Step in kitchen.
VERY DISCOURAGED AT THESE STUPID PRICES.
