Do you ever seen the unbreakable Demoman stickies before? I think everyone have seen! So we figured it out, why it happens! It's the exploit with the cow mangler combined with the stickybomb launcher in team fortress 2! Tutorial, guide right there in 4k resolution!

What’s funny is I already knew about this exploit 2 weeks ago because I was meming around with cow Mangler and I was going to splash a demo man with mouse 2 but I died then like 12 minuets later as I am dead I see our pyro try to airblast the obliviously placed stickies and it didn’t work... I don’t know what caused it till now

@eerb nopThat's true, the only exploits that I like are ones that don't really provide and advantage, such as the pyro jetpack exploit that allowed you to have a base jumper effect, not really useful but it's quite funny. Unlike the infinite health heavy which just makes you rage.
@@moth5799 the pyro jetpack one is still working up to this day, and I don't think Valve will patch it (as it requires more skill to land the juicy stomp hit with the detonator jump)

As I read short circuit doesn't work on them.
A scotland resistance can destroy a stickies, however it exploit or not, it destroing other demos stickies

@@D0NU75 I think they wanted to know how the glitch happens. Also, someone's angry.
I think its due to how nearly everything has a different reaction to stickies.
Explosives knock them around.
Bullets/melee(Which for sometimes count as bullets sometimes not) destroy them.
Airblast knocks them back in a different way then explosives being far more controlled of a spread.
My theory:The TF2 dev team might not have programmed out the special cowmangler shot(Remember it has special interactions on if the target is a player or building so possibly a different type of projectile) interacts with sticky bombs making them get stuck in a state where the game doesn't know how to interact with them making it so nothing can interact with them thus making them unbreakable/unmovable.
TLDR: The cowmangler shot confuses the game.

My point was how on earth would shooting a charge shot at stickies cause them to become unbreakable, not how do you perform the charge shot
The charged shot disables buildings too. Perhaps it's something to do with that.
@@Warcrafter4 I'd reckon its similiar how you could glitch out sentry busters to explode post death by having them gain a negative amount of health because half a point of health was left and then you damaged them by a full point. I'd figure that either the stickys "health" got quite literally set on fire, or they were considered buildings and therefore got to keep a fraction of their health due to the decreased damage against buildings, and then whoever tried to attack them glitched them out.
Wells seems this exploit only requires that someone in the casual (more difficult to work and be a friend in the other team), or in the most practical community servers, require to do the exploit, *at least it doesn't work with the teammates*

The reason why its like that is when you use full charge the stickies get a knockback, so everything you hit the stick it thinks the stickie is still flying
(Flying stickies can't be destroyed)

Explanation: Soldier shoots his laser which is the rewinding time laser - as a result, modern stickies became stickies but with 2007 version (back then you couldn't neither break nor push them by force like explosions [note: airblast was added only in 2008]).

I have noticed that some people set up these traps but I was unable to see them doing that.
I'm guessing the game treats the stickies to be 'disabled' like other buildings would be. But that doesn't happen for stickies, so the game never re-enables them to be hit for some reason, but they can still be detonated.
I was waiting for another exploit thx delfy!

considering that the one recording (that being delfy) was standing inside the tunnel, the pyro became out of his line of sight, therefore the game didn't need to render him anymore

Late to the party, but imagine doing this with the Scottish Resistance if the exploit still worked. You could have 14 sticky bombs at once and have multiple indestructible traps scaring enemies from going anywhere.
I did this by accident when placing stickies on a capture point, some enemy soldier fired a cow mangler charge on the point. But surprisingly the stickies are still there and other other team tried to use detonators or shooting at it, we won eventually because no one would go cap it.

When the integer becomes a double.
I am guessing the charged shot adds a tiny amount of velocity, but so tiny so they don’t appear to move. Stuck in this state they can not have new velocity added or be removed.
