È commovente, emozionante, ammirevole ascoltare la faticosa voce di una persona avanti negli anni... ma le sue dita sulla Fender restano ineguagliabili. Pezzo suonato (come sempre) in modo sublime, da far venire i brividi. Il mio unico rammarico è non essere mai riuscito a vederlo in un concerto. 👏👏
Amazing. His final solo was David unleashed, and you could tell the entire band and Romany and the other singers were totally into it with him. Transcendent. Bravo!!!
You think that solo was good? If you’re a guitar player and you thought that was good I feel sorry for anyone that hears your playing it was awful by Gilmour standards I would expect that bad of a performance from a rehearsal session not a live setting

As with all aging artists.. Voice is a bit weaker. Range is a bit smaller. Breathing is a bit labored.. Time is undefeated, after all. Having said that.. I feel the exact same way about David as I feel about Paul McCartney - Those 2 can get up there and read the lyrics for all I care. As long as they’re around, it will be my privilege to continue to hear them.

I‘m 26 years old and grew up with the music of Pink Floyd and U2. In October last year I went to the U2 concert in Las Vegas with my dad. Bono‘s voice was much better than 2017/2018. This year in November we will go to the David Gilmour concert in New York. When I watch this video from Rome I can’t wait to see him. Of course his voice is not like on the old Pink Floyd albums. But he’s close to 80 and still sounds amazing! Unbelievable that he’s still going on tour 😎 By the way: I have to thank my father for teaching me to this great music! It’s absolutely timeless…⏱️ Thank you David and Bono for such a great childhood with your music! ❤️
The voice isn't their as one would expect,but the guitar still sings with David's emotion.And for him to have Romany up on stage with him must be so special. A 78 year old legend with ages flaws still moving us all with great musicianship.

My wife took me to see Clapton a few years ago and I was 14 rows away from him and was in guitar nerd heaven just being there. Then when the show was over and we got outside the arena there was CRAZY traffic and people everywhere and I was like "imagine a 76 year old being so famous they can still cause this". Insane. LOL!
This was a representation of the magic they created in their youth. The music David produces today matches his current abilities and can match up to the PK music produced not that long ago! Fantastic!!
His best comfortably numb solo was definitely the pulse solo it was perfection especially the version he played that night not the edited version that was on the dvd

There are those on here who, before even listening, had decided on his failings. There were no mistakes. This is a live concert. You cannot compare a live concert to a studio recording. Maybe David should have lipsynced and his guitar dubbed to placate the perfectionists on here. Then, what would be the point of paying to watch him live. I can't imagine paying to watch a lipsynced and pretend instrument playing live concert . Just enjoy the music and stop looking for errors.
I listened and it was ticking awful he can’t hit the high notes singing he was not even close and the guitar solo was bad David is my absolute hero I play a black strat because of him but I can be honest and say his days as a live musician should be over
@@MrDannyboyhall Not a bad as Phil Collins at the O2 in 2022. Pretty-much all songs were keyed down to accommodate his frail voice. Then, I paid £440 for a ticket and thought that a right royal rip-off. Tickets for DG at the Albert Hall are £1000 to £2000 - plain crazy.

There are those on here who, before even listening, had decided on his failings. There were no mistakes. This is a live concert. You cannot compare a live concert to a studio recording. Maybe David should have lipsynced and his guitar dubbed to placate the perfectionists on here. Then, what would be the point of paying to watch him live. I can't imagine paying to watch a lipsynced and pretend instrument playing live concert . Just enjoy the music and stop looking for errors.
I listened and it was ticking awful he can’t hit the high notes singing he was not even close and the guitar solo was bad David is my absolute hero I play a black strat because of him but I can be honest and say his days as a live musician should be over
@@MrDannyboyhall Not a bad as Phil Collins at the O2 in 2022. Pretty-much all songs were keyed down to accommodate his frail voice. Then, I paid £440 for a ticket and thought that a right royal rip-off. Tickets for DG at the Albert Hall are £1000 to £2000 - plain crazy.
