Fun fact: I need to get this great product explanation from the USA. Here in Ireland, there is a dealer but is like Mc Donalds: They dont sell, they just take purchase orders. Thanks for the explanation.
Glad you are finding our videos informative. Sorry that your local dealer experience is less than stellar. Hopefully it does not deter you from the Ducati brand and being an owner. 🙌
I like the new model except the single pipe coming out for exhaust. Not sure if that is possible to replace. I would go for lower handle bar in black colour.
2 years back I am owning Ducati Scrambler icon-2019 model. I ride for 6,000 km and sold it for heating issues there. Today I am having BMW C400GT maxi scooter. Just checking Ducati is launched Scrambler icon 2023 new model. My doubts is whether the same heating issue is happening in this model or may be reduced. Just planning for replacement to again scrambler or no changes to replace my BMW C400GT.
I never understand why manufacturers put ride by wire, usually with modes, but can't be bothered to add cruise control into the mix. Seems cheap and lazy these days when electronics are cheap and easy.
@@AMSDucatiDallas It looks amazing and I’d love to see a video short walk around?? I just love the Sled design, it doesn’t get mentioned much compared to the other scramblers. Thanks for the reply, love the videos.
Ducati ruined this new scrambler. The pods on the tank were great on the last gen as they could be changed after a minor drop. Since they marketed this bike to new riders, that made sense, the new tank does not. The 2021 Nightshift with its flat seat was exceptional, the new Nightshift? Blah, same as the rest with slightly different colors.
@@AMSDucatiDallasyeah… but I like the looks of the older one better. I’ve been known to take on the absurd to make something how I want it. My ‘16 icon is a mostly carbon cafe bike with one off, handmade by me, carbon parts. Do you have access to the parts I’d need if I decided to dive in to the job? I’m also looking for a final edition panigale.

This guy is really good. Love this Ducati Scrambler icon. Got a 2023 Icon today. Fun, light weight and sounds great.
I personal like the old stiles, the pipe, the side suspension, the round gauge ✌️

GREAT VIDEO INFORMATIVE WITH FUN FACTS BY MARTY! THANKS!
Glad you enjoyed it
Nightshift versus Nightshift next? Great video - thanks Marty
Great suggestion!
Yes plz
Great comparison. However do you reckon you can fit an aftermarket exhaust on the new one, junking the ugly CAT box?
Which Ducati scramblers come with spoke wheels from the 1100 lineup?

Heating issue? What was it - the bike getting too hot, just you getting too hot? Explain
Good one, thanks.
Is gen 1 handle bar compatible with gen 2?
Which do you prefer - Gen 1 or Gen 2 ?
Ducati should bring back the Scrambler Cafe -Racer. It was the best looking Scrambler
Lol the identity crisis one ....
how good are those tires on the road??
great actually
Pretty good, but can always be replaced with something stickier and more road oriented

Oh come on, let’s have a look at the sled in the window…!
Which leads to another question, have they cancelled production of the sled now?
It's a customer bike with custom paint and a high termi exhaust
@@neilius1015 they are still available as a MY23 👍

The wheels look better... But, thats it. Awkward.
Is there a way to retrofit the new digital display on to the 2016 model?
where there is a will there's a way but boy that is a uphill battle as you would need ALL the electronics from the next-gen
