i appreciate the effort you put into each upload. meaningful with every syllable spoken. love that you upload reviews of machines you deem worthy of your time rather than every ender revision
The SV06 Ace has a lot going for it. The world definitely needs a Klipper bed slinger with all steel motion control system. I'd be more interested in an SV06 Ace Plus with a 300x300 build area. The price of Klipper coreXY printers is coming down and many people are going to spend more for one of those, but for people who want a simpler 3D printer with good print quality that's reasonably priced, reliable and easy to maintain or repair, this is a winner.
I know this is probably an off the wall question but is the X axis belt fully enclosed in that black panel? How do you adjust the tension on it without being able to feel the belt? I use a belt tension meter for all my printers.
Wouldn't changing the "tachometer_poll_interval" fix the problem with the fan errors? The Klipper default is 0.0015 (for fans below 10k rpm). Sovol's website says that the nozzle cooling fan is 12k rpm. Klipper documentation states "This must be smaller than 30/(tachometer_ppr*rpm), with some margin, where rpm is the maximum speed (in RPM) of the fan." So I'm guessing that you would need it set to a value slightly less than 0.00125, or slightly higher than 0.00125 if the fan is actually less than a 12k rpm fan. Im guessing that it would fall somewhere between 0.00115-0.00135. (My second guess would be to add a "kick_start_time" to the [fan] settings). I wish I had an SV06 ACE to troubleshoot for myself. :) It looks like a great printer for the money.
Hi Bryan have you done a video on what glue are the best for sticking 3d printed parts together. If you have can you let me know thank you and keep up the great work.
@@3dprintdawn not everyone likes their stuff being connected to whole internet. Some can't or aren't allowed due to location, facility or project. Unsecure internet things (be they routers, freezers or printers) are not what we want.
They could have done ACE-ing for Plus. Do we need more normal-size Klipper bedslingers, Sovol already having (not so great that they had to look back?) SV07 🙄

I’ve been dialing in a print profile for mine and it’s working really nice!
👍
Great review as always Bryan! Love your content 😊
Thanks Bryan.
Nice printer and a good price, tnx for your review.
Looks great.
You ACEd this one good sir. 😂
Are you proud of that

One problem what i see is sovol haven't the firmware update on the site, so its not possible (at the moment?) to do and update via USB! 😢
why USB download old stuff as it's already OTA, right?

Question: how is the fan noise?
Can the printer slowed down so its silent enough for working next to the desk?
Hmm...small though right?
