What a thoughtful journey shared by you in few your videos and I loved the way you finally arrived at X. Good presentation- highly valuable information and experience. Yes many don't know what they need and so end up buying a wrong one. OK Man. I am going book X this weekend 🎉
In this adventure X. Is the suspension good enough to give your the comfortable ride in off road ( like the road you are riding in this video ? And also what about with pillion? 2) can we cruise comfortably at 120 KMPH - 130 KMPH ?
I don’t know how ‘comfort’ on off road is defined. The rear suspension has less rebound and that isn’t very comfortable at slow speeds. But that is a super boon at higher speeds. When it comes to off road, I’m mostly saddling. So my knees provide most of the suspension. You can see about the 120kmph speeds in this video.
@@prameethprabhu hi, so I am planning to buy 390x, and I am sure you must have been asked this question million times, but can you please comment on vibrations of this bike, and also how it feels to the pillion rider. Will it be significant at cruising speed of 100 120kmph? Also, can I get the adjustable suspensions installed on this bike from ktm, or is this available only to ktm sw owners?
@@amansrivastava6086 Go for it. You will be happy with the 390X. Vibes are there only at low revs. That can be solved with FuelX or by changing sprockets. However, i recommend t just learn to ride the Adv the ways it’s supposed to be ridden which is beyond 3k RPM. At higher revs, there are no vibes but a high frequency buzz at the handlebars and foot pegs. The footpegs ones won’t bother you much if you wear thick soled shoes. Handlebar ones you will have to learn to deal with. I can’t comment on pillion comfort as I have never sat on the back seat significantly. But from what I heard from others, the back seat is plenty comfy. Regarding the adjustable suspension, you can get it from KTM if you know someone well in the management. However, even after 6.5k KM on my motorcycle, I haven’t felt the need TP change any hardware on my motorcycle yet.
hi bro super vlog need a suggestion for ktm390 avd X really u don't need electronics like C-ABS in highway or hills cornering . I am almost ok with ADV x but feel why we not go for SW ? for touring and some off road trails .
I love the narration. Awesome riding at those speeds in the trail. I'm sure you'll just be sliding those corners with some training. Can you share how the suspension performance/feedback in the trail was? Did it bottmed out at any point?
Thank you. Yeah I was going way to fast for my skill level. The suspension will bottom out when you hit ruts. Adv 390 doesn’t have a lot of suspension travel. Regarding the feedback, I think it’s too technical for me to understand at this point (pertaining to trails), as I don’t have any reference point.
@@NsOneRider Nope. Not one bit. On the contrary I sometimes feel sad for the standard owners when they share images of errors on their dash in groups. Many even agree that the quick shifter doesn’t work the way it intended to and the traction control is very rudimentary and can be unnerving at times if it intrudes mid corner. I don’t have any of those hassles. I personally like the LCD dash as it is crisp and gives me all the info. I feel the colour TFT has too much info. The only gripe I have about Adv-X is that the trip meter is limited to 999.9 km.
Hey I am planning to buy one but I am extremely confused which one to go for is it SW version or X version My driving includes touring and rough patches with undulating topography. Adv-X is a brilliant tourer for the money we pay for it. I have made another video - KTM vs Plane. Watch that. That will show you what this machine is capable of on 90% on road and 10% bad roads. Adv-X comes with MRF. Grip is good but will get noisy as it crosses 10k km. Only other issue with Adv-X is the trip meter. It wont calculate beyond 1000km.
