Her character in this film was such a great, subtle portrayal of the type of person that lures you in by seeming 'complicated' and 'mysterious', and then it turns out those same personality quirks that seem alluring from the outside, when carried over into an actual relationship, results in all kinds of arguments, infidelity, emotional instability, etc. That last scene with them where his blurting out how he was going to propose to her slips by unnoticed, and she responds by declaring the type of pasta she wants for dinner, is brilliant.
He's great in their scenes, together, too. Not a traditional leading man, but I would not anyone else playing his character. When he reacts to her pills, or when he's talking to her by the kiosk, he is so REAL.
I allways thought of Winnona as the Mia Farrow of the 90s, cute hippie gothic intellectual rebel girl who's well read, (I love both actresses). So it makes sense to me that Woody Allen would cast her in atleast one of his films.

She perfectly represents that character with a lot of sex appeal, sense of humor and sensuality.
