Thank you ! Yes that’s correct. The RH front drive shaft will hit the subframe on full droop. I am planning to do a modification to cure this, but also a higher lift kit !
Nice engine conversion!👍 The sump guard certainly looks the part but those exposed steering track rods are a bit of an achilles heel on rocky terrain or in deep ruts. An old workmate of mine had one and it was very capable for a car it's size and designed primarily for road use. Plenty of water around just lately to test the snorkel and extended breathers!😂👍

Hello, I need to put 20 millimètres spacers at the rear of my 169 4x4. Do I need to remove the rear diff to do it ? Could you give me some explanations please ? Many thx !
Hi Pedro, please can you help me? My rear drives are not working. I removed the electro-pneumatic valve and tested it at 12V to see if it worked, and it lifted the valve upwards (which I assume is working). We changed the oil, but it still doesn't work. Nothing can be heard in the differential, and the driveshaft rotates normally without any strange sounds. Model is Fiat Panda 169 4x4 1.2 51KW. Do you know what happens? Thanks!
Hi! Hmm.. that does sound strange. I would think it will be the viscous coupler itself that is not working. The electric valve may be working, but if the viscous coupling itself is not working it will not engage drive. That is the only realistic thing that could be at fault
@@PTP4X4 I don't have viscous coupler(if you mean on this www.fiatforum.com/attachments/2431d8ff-fa37-4954-b972-05ca86288d01-jpeg.421576/) my model look like this (img.7zap.com/images/oem/fiat/Imgs/images/2B/2B92DB26B3CE8FFAA5E451AFE2DDE098.png). Thanks for answer!

Pomigliano d'Arco, one. Solihull, nil. 😂 Did you go back to tow that P38 through the river, or was the weight of its owner's electrics based anxiety too much for Pongo to haul. And in 2024, we find that Fiat's are actually really reliable, whereas - sadly - JLR are averaging one breakdown per week, if we're to believe the social media relating to the split new JLR vehicles. Oh the irony of that P38, especially if it's blessed with the Diesel engine, being almost certainly more reliable than new RRs. Ahhh, what a shame.
The show casing of the flawless rock guard for the headlights made me send you a sub. Always been interested in the Panda, buy never been able to see much video wise since most just showcase them driving in mud. Looking forward to see what more may come!

Great video. Think I’ve been watching some of your other vids too. Question: is there a good forum for these? I don’t know much about the Panda 4x4 but I’d like to learn more and chat about them. Thanks.
Wow, i have a panda 4x4 like this and i was intrested that i never seen an offroad built on this car. You are the first person i see doing this and it’s so great. Very good English ! And thank you for your positive feedback. So far the 4WD has not let me down. Seems to function when ever I need it and I have done some quite extreme stuff.

I have a 21 plate mark 3 Fiat Panda 4x4 Wild one of the last ones before the Panda Cross. I’ve only done 5300 miles in it as a weekend warrior. I like driving in snowy roads no serious off road. Other than annual servicing I’ve not had any problems yet though I do read about so many and twin air turbo blowing at 60,000 miles plus. It does put a smile on my face driving it though
The radio antenna bending on the rack, why not replacing it by a smaller one? On my up! the original antenna covered in rubber started to break and I replaced it with an small aluminum antenna from Aliexpress, basically the smallest I could find since my radio works fine even without an antenna, and I mostly only use it to play from my phone Bluetooth anyway.
It would need to be submerged in water for a very long time for it to fill up enough to create a problem. So far to date I have not had any water get in post filter.
Did someone say off road mini? I just sold my last one, a Mitsubishi Pajero Mini that is Great wee 4×4, proper low range transfer case, automatic front hub locks and some 3 inches shorter than an actual BL mini at 9ft 9inches. It would be very interesting, in my opinion, to compare the off road ability of a Panda 4x4, Sisley preferably, with the tiny Kei class Mitsubishi. I need a panda 4x4 now that there's a tiny off reader sized hole in my life, was that river crossing undertaken in 4 low or was it better to rely on front wheel drive to paddle Pongo along? The Pajero was RWD when not in 4 wd, great wee toy but, exiting a muddy track onto a surfaced road made it somewhat too oversteery 'til the front wheels were dried out.
