Great new opening format and graphics😊
Great helpful video. Would be good to see what to look for on a newer model mk4 I think twin air.
Wow, that rear diff ECU looks very vulnerable to high water - crazy place to put it
Great idea for a video, very useful and informative
Thanks for the support Cam
I’ve got a 2010 Cross that seems to be in far better condition than most & want to keep it as a future classic. Would Freddie be able to have a look at it for me & advise on maintenance eg removing & galvanising the subframes? I’d obviously pay for his time & take it to his workshop. I’m a member of your FB page.
Twinair v diesel ?
That Strada Abarth has been there for months and months…..!
I saw one of the older shape ones for sale for 15k
Prices are going mad on all marques now
I had an ‘85 and then swapped it for a ‘Sisley’ (with the fun gauges!). Loved both - unfortunately so did the tin worm…
Wow, that ECU is very vulnerable to water
They only have a wading depth of about 400mm aswell

that’s the advantage of the Mk3/Series 2 Pandas - purely mechanical Ferguson / GKN 4x4 viscous coupling system (up until July 2008) which can plough through quite deep water (with snorkel etc) or flash flood conditions without worrying about 4x4 electronics and ECUs etc
What else can you expect on a 12 year old vehicle with 140,000 miles on the clock, which has also likely to have been driven on rougher terrain than even today's UK pot holed roads?
You can't expect alot less, but it doesn't warrant keeping the prices so high when the majority of people will be unaware of underlying issues.
Yes, I agree. Actually the age is 16 years, not 12 as I originally miscalculated. Ready for the scrap heap very shortly, perhaps?@@allthingsandyb
@stanthesteelguitarman8228 ironically, this car was already saved from the scrap man.
