Cool under fire. Go Bjorn. lol. In my brain, when the car stopped, and you said, "the car is ded" 4:36 mark and go around to present the ECOFlow in the back, open the rear door and then realize the ECOFlow was still on the charger at the house. lol. I know you prep better, but I couldn't stop thinking about goofy stuff this morning. lol. Anyway, I don't know what it is, but I am still fascinated with the Fisker Ocean. It has a few bugs in the software to iron out but it still awesome to me. Thanks for the drop. All the best Bjorn.
The software bugs around the charge speed and estimate range is just mind blowing. I bet the outsourcing team wherever it might be located is going to have some serious explaining to do.
At least your videos have some info. Regardless of what other "reviews" have said, this EV would be my first and in my opinion this is a driver's vehicle and exactly what I want from it's styling and untapped abilities👍💯👊
Question for Bjorn: Just wondering why you don't have that phone plugged into the data port to see all kinds of information about the battery that the car interface doesn't show?
Bjørn I have a question for you, what software version is the Fisker using, this might explain some of the problems you have been having. I believe there are several versions in circulation and that not all cars are being updated at the same time.
Maybe since he set it to 45% or whatever during the 1000km challenge it figures that's how long it would take for it to charge at 1.9kW to that SoC ? Mostly guessing ...
All the leading solar panel technologies have horrible all-weather performance, besides Amorphous-silicon and CIGS thin film panels, which are expensive due mostly in part to their small market share, and China's huge subsidation of monocrystalline production plants. Crystalline solar panels have a spectral sensitivity in the infrared spectrum, only 20% of it is in the visible range (edit: AND, our sun's peak output is in the visible at around 500nm). So if it's overcast and the water vapor absorbs all of that IR energy, the panels are effectively off. It's absolutely a gimmick on a car like the Fisker. Better than having no generators, but not if you're paying a premium for it.
Unfortunately there is not the Xpeng G9 650 Max that you tried on the sheet you show at the end... There is the old P7i... Very good test, such informations are very important before buying... The batteries you own are not included in the set, and hopefully, but another car should be able to sell the number of kilometers requested to reach at 2% the next charging station! Things should be betterly organized for all non specialists! The 17 Public Services Companies should have done so, at least Mail Direct International PSC for just deliveries and Bill !nternational Technologies PSC for Just Payment! Only the best is legal, we are far from it, and this is not the responsibility of any car brand!!!
Love your videos, our Enyaq 85X arrives I couple of weeks. Our first EV and maybe I should get me some Ecoflows😂 Any chance you are getting your hands on a MY24 Enyaq for testing?
Even though I wouldn't touch this car with Henrik Fisker's pole, MKBHD saying that this was the worst car he has ever laid eyes on seems like a massive exaggeration.
Until you see what owners say and the market itself. Some places won't take them in trade. "Tailosev" went to the showroom to test drive one and they had one that had broken pieces on the floor. Very cheap squeaky plastic parts. Pretty bad software. Don't let decent looks and 22' wheels fool you.
He said it is a good foundation, but way too buggy to recommend. He also said it is the worst car he ever reviewed. Which is true. Stop taking headlines as facts.
Fisker... FSRN up 159 % month to lead the EV sector. Over 6,500 Ocean Suv EVs delivered, winner of the IF Design Award for Best Electric SUV EV 2024. Now 18 dealership agreements, and 4 Automakers vying to acquire Fisker. Thumbs up video/ comments. Thanks.
the software is really total rubbish. you are at 0% and it claims you arrive at a charger with over 90%. poor real Ocean owners esp in a few weeks when Fisker is history and nobody will care about any bugs
integer overflow - reminds me of the old computer games, where you could sometimes create an overflow and jump from max. minus money to max. plus money
Pleasent information with these tests Bjørn, we just bought our first EV, a 2021 ID3 62kWh. Love the Matrix LEDs!
That chart you shared at the very end is priceless!! So useful and thanks for doing this for us 🙏🏻

Saw one drive by today and it's a really nice looking car.

great videos and fair assessment of the fisker

Windows XP! i love it... i think besides the designs flaws the battery seems to perform pretty good but i need a car with adaptive cruise control
coming around the corner says the techs but who knows what to believe
This guy gets it.
Great video and keep up the good work.
Great content. Funny jokes and phrases in there. Thanks for creating Fisker coverage 👍

No support
would you have got anything from the solar panels bjorn?
Obviously not.

20 hours remaining at 1 kW?
Definitely wrong, at 1KW it should take 100 hours.
Maybe since he set it to 45% or whatever during the 1000km challenge it figures that's how long it would take for it to charge at 1.9kW to that SoC ? Mostly guessing ...
Charge limit was set to 100 %. Yet another bug here then.
@@bjornnyland maybe 20 hours at full 3,7kW from single phase then ?Or what is the Ocean Extremes single phase charging rate? 7kW ?
When charging at the Kempower at 1%SOC the car said 7km like the 700km"ish" at 100%. So you can not trust this number when charging.
140kw draw from 1% SOC is really quite impressive.
Well it isnt because we have no idea about actual soc
I've heard that the car must be "recalibrated" if the 12V is dead, but I'm not sure if it's actually true. That would be very bad design.
certain features like the doggie windows in california mode etc certainly have to. probably more also. happened to my Ocean Ultra once
The solar panels are just a gimmick not worth the investment and complications involved having it in my opinion.

11:31 Is that the law and order chime?
I was acctually feeling nervous watching this video - what if the water breaks when Björn is at 0% and stuck...!
No warning?? The car practically started begging for a recharge.
He didn't say there was no message. 13:20
He said no "Final warning"
You missed the "final warning" part.
“This screen and this screen maybe was developed by two different student groups.”

Wow
check out news from Business Insider ("Fisker tells employees that 4 automakers are in talks to buy the struggling startup")
❤❤❤
So all with all good looking and decent car but the software is so shit that the car is basically useless. Really a shame the car looks cool
Without ANY warning?! I think you were warned.
I was talking about final warning before the car became unable to drive. I think I said this quite clearly in the video.
Even though I wouldn't touch this car with Henrik Fisker's pole, MKBHD saying that this was the worst car he has ever laid eyes on seems like a massive exaggeration.
Thats not what he said.
For EV Reviews Bjorn and out of spec are by far the best on UA-cam by a country mile.

Great car!! Better than Tesla. ❤
Henrik for fanden… 😂
This car is a big joke compared to tesla.
Only Tesla offers acceptable zero range 56km , I think it suppose to be a standard soon that Zero Range means +/- 50km
