I needed this. Thanks Ela. Recently qualified and trying to leave my current Big 4 firm as had a bad manager who screwed me over in performance reviews and instead of leaving, I tried to fight it internally and now realised HR works for the company's/hierarchy's best interest.
no probs! I'm really sorry you're going through that, that manger sounds awful - hate that the HR team aren't doing their job properly in this case too. Huge congrats on qualifying tho and honestly a move out of big 4 right now might be the best thing for you anyway, companies love hiring newly qualified ( especially from big 4!!) so you will most likely find a much better paid role in industry with a better culture/manager
Starting my grad role at the big4 this September, these tips will be helpful.
Very helpful tips thank you 😊
no probs!! ☺
Thank you Ela❤
thank you for watching! ❤
That is all so true!
I appreciate this.
yess glad it helped
Thanks Ela, appreciate this, especially the manager point you touched on. Have you ever had a situation where you didn’t get on with your boss and are you able to make a video on this for advice?
great question, will definitely make a video on this soon! I have been v lucky with my managers even in my old company, only had one manager that made me hate my job, will explain fully in the video
