I wonder if Fannie is wearing the shirt as a sort of nod to her then girlfriend Susan Flannery who was in the movie towering inferno... probably explains why she's wearing it before the release of the film
Fannie scores her 6th H/H match. (And shoots up above Jo Ann Pflug and CNR on the accuracy leader board!) This is the first time this week that a celeb other than Richard has been selected. Here's the updated leader board showing the 9 celebs with at least 3 H/H matches, ranked by accuracy: Orson - 100% (3 wins in 3 attempts). Jo Anne Worley - 75% (3 wins in 4 attempts). Betty - 54.2% (13 wins in 24 attempts). Fannie - 46.2% (6 wins in 13 attempts). Charles - 45.7% (16 wins in 35 attempts). Jo Ann Pflug - 44.4% (8 wins in 18 attempts). Bert - 33.3% (5 wins in 15 attempts). Richard - 32.7% (55 wins in 168 attempts). Brett - 30.8% (8 wins in 26 attempts). *These stats include every head-to-head match from episode 1 through 359, excluding the lost/missing episodes: 31, 32, 33, 311, 312, 313, 324, 325. (As per MatchGameProductions, these episodes "are nowhere to be found and also aren't in the Goodson/Todman Library. Sadly, looks like they are lost forever!")
@kevansf Hey, nice work!! I always wanted to do this type of analysis on this great game show. I may still try taking a stab at it. Glad there are all of the (existing) episodes being provided by MGP. Impossible to do this analysis without it.
@@DavidVJones Thanks! It's a fun process, and watching them this way (keeping track of stats) keeps me from binging. I'm currently up to 1399 (I'll watch that one tomorrow) so I only have about 57 episodes left ;-(
@kevansf YVW!! Great-regarding you nearing the "finish line" My wife thanks you, as you saved me all that time I would have spent delving into MG stats myself. I'd love to know Bret Sommers stats, for regular gameplay matching (which I know can never be complete) and her Supermatch and H-t-H matching stats. I'm guessing they are not all that great... I know CNR was a very good player, his stars must be near the top, in their respective categories... Thanks for your reply.
@@DavidVJones Until just recently, Brett's track record at matching in the H/H had been above Richard's most of the time, but a string of losses has her back behind Richard once again. They've actually traded places in the rankings dozens of times, but Brett held a good lead during Richard's final months and until recently. CNR is way above the both of them. I too would be interested in stats for matching in the regular game, but it's problematic as sometimes we don't see all the answers (once a game has been decided). Plus, it'd be a heck of a lot of work. No Excel. I keep records on notebook paper and collate them daily into a simple note file. When I started, I didn't foresee getting so involved with all the stats. Anyway, watching an episode a day and posting updated stats is a lot more fun for me than scrolling through social media!
When watching MASH, notice that Gary Burghoff's (Radar's) left hand is always hidden behind a clipboard or his teddy bear. Gary was born with a deformed left hand that was missing fingers. He was one of the first long term, truly physically disabled actors to appear on TV for any extended period of time-without being a token disabled character. Just an interesting fact. By the way, you'll never watch MASH the same way again without hunting for the rare moments of the quick exposures of Gary's left hand. You're welcome. :)
James Dooham from Star Trek was missing finger on a hand, and kept it hidden as well as much as possible, but of course was due to war so maybe that doesn't count..

@@GizmoFromPizmo Yea, unfortunately everyone has learned how to lose with saint Richard.... he only loses on practically EVERY show (but hey the contestants seem to WANN continue losing with him so....)

I know UA-cam grabs random moments for a thumbnail, but it's too bad that the still for episode 360 gives away that Fred came back from a 6-to-1 deficit. That being said, I don't think they should have matched "pants" and "kilt". Even if you go by the British definition of pants (e.g. underwear), it wouldn't exactly match "kilt", so Fred would have won anyway.
