anyone installing hood brackets like this, take off the bolt one at a time, install one part of the bracket then do the 2nd bolt and tighten down the 2nd part of the bracket. That way you don't have to mess with hood getting out of alignment, you will always have a bolt holding it in place.
Ive been running rough country black series for my ditch lights for about a year, and just ordered the Baja Designs squadron pros to replace them (to match the fogs). Very excited for them!
Any wind noise with those lights? If you unscrew the front bolt first, keep the second bolt on and attach the bracket then move it aside then bolt the back one on you do not risk losing the alignment on the hood. Caliraised has the video install.
All this videos you have done with your tacoma are so cool man, but I've notice that those lights installation need a video in a completely dark place so you can really show them off, and if you have done it please tag me as I watch along your videos
I just checked mine and it doesn’t bend the weather strip. Do you have yours too close to the hood? Or did you bolt the bracket under the hood bracket? If that makes sense ha I bolted my ditch light brackets on top of the hood brackets

Great video. Did you drill through the rubber nipple in firewall or completely remove it? I am curious if anyone is just removing it or replacing it with anything to prevent water from entering the cabin.
I just used a screw driver and poked a hole through it lol haven’t had any issues with it 👍🏼 I guess if you want you could put some tape around it to cover it up

Nope! When I get a new front bumper, I’ll be adding 4 additional lights in the fog light area. 2 of those will be street legal and the other 4 won’t be legal

6:50 be careful when installing brackets and bolts around painted surfaces. This is why we put fender protectors on when working.

No wind that is noticeable to me! A little bit with the roof rack though even with the wind guard

Where did you put the fuse block
I just wrapped it up in the cord. This is only a temporary thing until I get a power switch to clean up all the wiring

What kind of headlights do you have on your taco?
The stock ones that come on the 2020
They're the headlights for the Premium versions on trims. For example, like a TRD Off Road Premium or TRD Sport Premium
