Dear Lami , let me be the first to say this and this my personal opinion . You are one of the only if not the only channel that made authentic Ghanaian foods with no Western add on or some twist and we love the originality andauthenticity you post . Please do whatever it is you do to keep it up , you are on your way to the top.
Thank you so much for that lovely comment. This just made my day. God bless you for the love and support. Comments like this keep me going. Thank you ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you for cooking this recipe, I grew up in Akwatialline around nineteen steps and it could be breakfast, lunch or dinner, and we the kumasi people will testify to this, love your cooking, always close to home, in US here I will try with brown rice, you made my day, thank you again
Aba Memsah, I also grew up at Akwatia-line 19 steps in Kumasi! Woooow! I lived at Nana Dabo’s house. Opposite the Shell petrol station shop. Wooow! Did you live in the Fante house by Mr. Anthony ? Wooooow!
@@ItsEmmaAkuffo oh my goodness, Emma, do you know nana Dabo had another house, also a storey building furniture down going towards the big mosque, he was a friend of my father, do you remember mr Bob, he was like a pastor then , we lived two houses to him, where are you now, oh am very happy, we might know each other
I was wondering what kind of rice this is, we just call it pure organic brown rice in Southern Africa. Thank God I preserved some in my freezer from 2019, lol, will try this recipe over the weekend, thanks Sis.

Yieeeee!! How I miss Amariya & Maami Laliba's speciality😥!! Can still relive the interesting aroma & the amazing taste from that stew!!! Hey! this was indeed, the food/delicacy to break the fast from the day, after the night before!!🤣🤣🤣 BTHW, What's the wagashi? 🤔Hey!! I could watch & watch!🤣 again many thanks, for another brilliant cooking session 👍🏾👏🏽👌🏾👌🏾😘
Thank you so much. I can feel the excitement at the same time a nostalgic feeling. Wagashi is a type of cheese very popular amongst the fulanis. It's made out of cows milk. I call it the African cheese. I have a recipe here on my channel on how to make it.
Great recipe, I tried and it was fantastic but the grains didn't come out as soft as I wanted it even though I used lots of water like you recommended. Any tip?
Thanks dear. You should let the steam cook it for you. Once you are sure you added enough water, reduce the heat to the lowest, cover with foil, kitchen towel or parchment paper, make sure its tight to retain the steam and the magic will happen 🤣. Note: this type of rice is very hard compared to the normal ones we use so make sure you add enough water. Let me know once you try this style. I hope these tips helps. 🥰🥰🥰🥰
Hi Laami, thx for sharing. Can the rice be found at Madina, Nima mkts, and which dawadawa is better soybean or locust bean? We cant see you in the footage?
