See a couple people commenting about the Raikage section I’ll clarify. Raikage IS faster than Oro my main argument is that he’s only above Oro’s actual perception with Body Flicker as lower forms of the cloak are just blatantly reacted to by inferior or comparable fighters. With Oro’s win con just stacking himself + the Edo Tensei to eventually overwhelm the 4th at some point or another with their hax in this closed environment. The Barrier also amplifying Oro’s side and limiting Ay. If Ay does just prevent him from getting any of this or even weaving signs it’s over for Oro. I had cut out a section where I said it was 6/10 wins either side due to the nature of it so it is close.
The implication wasn’t Oro = Max Speed aye, it was Oro scales to somewhere between V1/V2
Apologies if that didn’t come across as clear or if I didn’t word it correctly.
While I do like your argument that Orochimaru can overwhelm the Raikage. The Raikage actually has a way to easily defeat Orochimaru. The Raikage can simply use the Kohaku no Johei, which was the only treasured tool the Hidden Cloud managed to regain from Kinkaku and Ginkaku. The Raikage can simply use the tool after catching Orochimaru off guard.

I will say I feel you kind of underestimated another part of the Raikage's arsenal.
Or well overestimated Orochimaru's regeneration/substitution.
While yes it does mean Orochimaru can essentially tank any one attack there is 2 major flaws to relying in using it on this fight.
The first is that electricity might simply pass through the snakes hitting multiple ones at once limiting where he can actually regenerate.
The second and bigger one, is that it isn't instant. Against a Taijutsu specialist like the Raikage that unlike the 9 tails will not wildly go around unfocused. This does mean if he does it and the Raikage already saw it and expects it, the Raikage might just follow up destroying his body while he regrows it, in which case Orochimaru cannot really do much, as he wouldn't have a proper body to defend himself in which case he just keeps getting destroyed till he dies off or someone else creates a distraction.
Not to say Orochimaru can't win, but that I feel this makes it so any approach where he directly fights the Raikage like he did Hiruzen has him losing more often than not.
I do think Orochimaru has the arsenal to not fight under those conditions. But the barrier and 1v1 approach he took against Hiruzen in an enclosed space would most certainly have him be likely overwhelmed.

Tbh the regular forces are all battle tested and are used to fighting a superior force in open combat but once Orchimaru kills of Mei all hope is lost

One interesting point of contention I'd like to point out is while Particle style should work on the Poison Mist and Hashirama's Pollen, it would force Ohnoki to waste Chakra. Another thing is Particle Style does take time to charge up, and unless Ohnoki plans to Nuke the ground with Particle Style, Orochimaru can just slip into the ground when he senses Ohnoki charging the Jutsu. It would be a very risky game of Whack-A-Mole where losing means death, but it would be interesting. And there is nothing to suggest Orochimaru can't Spawn his snakes underground, imagine feeling the ground shake and Hundreds if not Thousands of Snakes with Kusanagi Blades come bursting out of the ground. There's a lot of AOE to be considered that would make any of the Kages lives difficult, and Ay doesn't have a counter to Poison Mist or Hashirama's Pollen as we saw in the war arc, he was debilitated by it despite the Lighting Armor. And if Orochimaru busts out the Edo Tensei, the table flips from 6/10 in Ohnoki's and Ay's favor to 9/10 for Orochimaru against Ay and 7-8/10 against Ohnoki. As stated Bringer of Darkness is detrimental as hell, Tandem Paper Bombs would one shot any Kage assuming it would land, Hashirama's Pollen is a bitch and a half, and Orochimaru has so much more room to sneak the Kage since their attention is now split. When it's one on one it is hard to surprise your oponent and do things out of their view, but with their attention divided and all the wood and water flying around, he would have a chance to make clones to replace him and sneak with the Kusanagi Blade (Which is Holds very lethal poison), throw out poison mist (If Shizune can do it then Orochimaru can do it 10x better), or if you want to be generous to him, use his 8-Headed Hydra Form to overwhelm and slam them (Though he probably wouldn't use it against Ohnoki since he'd just be a bigger target)
I feel like you’re underestimating Mei. She is given the least amount of screen time out of all the living kage, and when she does fight it’s often in a a disadvantageous situation.
Her missed release works best in one on one combat in enclosed spaces. During the war arc she was literally fighting outdoors with a team.
Mei was able to cancel Madara’s fire style with her own water style. Mei literally did something that requires an entire army of water style users to accomplish! Safe to say when it comes to water style she’s probably in the top two or three in Shinobi history.
Next getting hit by a lot of lava is pretty dangerous, just ask Anakin or Ace.
Finally any working acid or poison of any kind is dangerous to even the strongest fighter. Melting, dissolving, and poisons are all really good methods to take care of a superior opponent. Just look at Hanzo and Sasori, those two owe 50% of their reputation to just having strong poison.
Still, in this case it matters little.
In this case, it's very likely Mei will get blitzed, curse mark'd, stabbed etc by the time she sets up any worthwhile attack. In the event that she does, I don't think she can force Oro to rebirth enough times to exhaust his chakra.

all I’m saying is the fight isn’t 100% lopsided. If they fight 10 times the Mizukage could at the very least win a few of them, and even if Orochimaru does win he’s not going to be looking too good.
@@kingoffans899 I know, dw - I just don't have much confidence in the idea that Mei can defeat Orochimaru more than 1 time out of 10. I can see her winning with an elaborate plan involving filling the chamber and hiding, but this is just a really bad matchup.
Orochimaru has a lot of oral rebirths to go around, and a metric ton of speed. It's very unlikely Mei won't get skewered or tagged in the time it takes for Orochimaru to get completely exhausted and unable to oral rebirth (which will probably be an insanely long time).
@@hihi-nm3uy I think that both lava and boil release _might_ literally be counters to Orochimaru's oral rebirth and his other regen shenanigans. Lava and boil aren't just burst damage, they stay on the target. If Orochimaru gets hit he has to regen while being covered by lava or surrounded by boil vapor.

However, Orochimaru is still the same dude who boxed around with 4 tailed kyubi Naruto while dying. I feel like Orochimaru's just going to find and kill Mei in the time it would take to exhaust his chakra with spawn-kill rebirths.
I just don't think Orochimaru's going to allow her to fill the chamber either. Even if he doesn't just kill her at the start, this Orochimaru has hand-seals, and summons. Even if he doesn't fuse into the ground, he can probably use a reverse summon, protect his body, or otherwise counteract the mist. Mei definitely has the equipment to fight Orochimaru, but I just have no idea how she plans on surviving the fight until the chamber fills, or what she's going to do if that fails. I think Mei has a chance, I just think that chance is VERY low unless Mei has prep time and some elaborate 4D chess.
The Raikage would probably pull a Homer Simpson and strangle Orochimaru. 😂😂

Orochimaru’s IQ has a tendency to fluctuate greatly on the situation.
For example, he could’ve kidnapped Sasuke and Naruto in the forest of death easily, but decided against it.
He could’ve use the shinigami mask to get his arms back when the sound four entered the leaf village, but didn’t.
He trained Sasuke to the point he was able to put a reverse Uno card on Orochimaru’s body stealing plan.
Finally Orochimaru could have given himself an artificial Sharingan and Hashirama cells to himself or underlings at any time, but never does. This is a bigger head scratcher when you realize Orochimaru never went after white Zetsu during his time in the Akatuki. Sure he might not be as valuable as Itachi or pain, but Zetsu is an easy target and would cripple the Akatuki’s spy net work.
Orochimaru might be the greatest technological genius the leaf has ever produced. However, when he makes a mistake the snake often loses out on winning the equivalent of the Shinobi lottery, or finds himself partially sealed.
Orochimaru is the only villain to kill 2 different Kage.

Well technically speaking Sasori helped seal Gaara which killed him so Oro is not the only one who killed 2 Kage ☝️🤓

So the Sand does have Granny Chiyo, who is a defensive powerhouse that should not be slept on. With her 10 puppets, I feel she could easily clean up most of the Sound forces. Additionally, the Sand has experienced the outbreak of Shukaku multiple times, and therefore I believe they will be better equipped to handle the larger summons. Rasa obviously doesn't stand a chance, but if the Sand is good at anything, it's surviving.
The reason why naruto fans tend to think there's a giant speed gap between some characters is they can't conceptualize the idea of a slight speed advantage vs a massive one. So whenever there's an outlier feat of someone showing speed advantage they consider them a whole tier above, which isn't usually an issue when comparing those characters to each other, but as soon as that faster character shows a speed disadvantage to someone else, that third character is thought to be able to speed blitz the first, because in their minds they are two tiers above them in speed.

I think the village rankings made at that time (which was just before the Gokage Summit) also had to do with the military might of each village in that between time between the 3rd ninja war. While the third war did have every village in it at least like the first (along with Hidden Rain who was in the second as well), its effects were still felt some 17-18 years later. The Stone had to rely on the Akatsuki along with their jinchuriki and heavy hitters. The Mist just went into internal chaos. The Sand lost the two strongest shinobi of there village (3rd Kazekage, Sasori) along with Sasori’s unit and had always been at a disadvantage with assets being in the desert. The Leaf had to deal with the death of its two strongest shinobi in Minato and Hiruzen, 4 different incidents (Obito attack, Hyuga incident, Orochimaru and Sand, Pain invasion) and by the time of the databook none of the Sannin were alive with Tsunade in a coma. Interesting the stats are a reflection of what’s happened since the last Great War and how the villages have taken steps forwards or backwards
I'm so glad you actually look at the narrative too. I think in a series like naruto, its much more ok to look at it since so many characters are strong via statements and narrative not just feats
Also very relevant because Kishimoto and Toriyama don't sit around with calculators figuring out how strong certain characters are. Sometimes you need that extra bit of nuance and multi-disciplinary approach in order to understand how strong someone might be.
9:53 you can clearly see the walls melting, Orochimaru can't hide especially when that vapor style is melting white zetsu's body who is just hashirama cells + her acid/lava melt Madara humanoid Susano'o hand prior to hit her, Orochimaru don't have nothing that lava style can't melt. He only wins if he uses Edo Tensei or the Hydra, otherwise hes just wasting to much chakra regenerating

@@kazekageslayer Beyond that, I just don't think she's killing Oro enough times to do that. Orochimaru was sick and dying, and yet he brawled the 4 Tailed Kyubi. I feel like Mei's only usually going to melt him once or twice before she's stabbed by Kusanagi or otherwise just blitzed by the sheer speed difference; even if he had to do that 5 more times, I severely doubt it'd be enough to exhaust him.
I'm Pretty sure two or three rashomon doors could stand It, seeing how they took a bijuudama. Plus, we forgetting Orochimaru surely has more jutsus that he's shown so far, a lot more. Not to mention that against elemental users, he could simply seal their corresponding elemental chakra with the five seals. So both the Raikage and Mei's elemental attacks could be completely sealed off
The problem with Orochimaru vs the Raikage is that I don't think that anything that Orochimaru has can peirce the lightning let alone the Raikage's durability right after. I think he can tank nearly anything Orochimaru, who isnt know for his ap, can throw out.
Orochimaru can use the hydra form, but is it as strong, or nearly as strong as the 8 tails. I doubt it. Like... a lot.
The numbing poison would be nice, if it could get past the lightning cloak, but I dont see why it would
I also put more stock into the Raikage's stamina that Orochimaru's. I think he keeps killing him and takes little to no damage and out staminas him, till Orochimaru runs or dies

I agree on the point that Oro doesn't care about Katsuyu, though I think that the argument about the rock is faulty since the inability of an acid to melt one substance says nothing about its effect on another.
Also I never thought about that Hiruzen speed scaling to Jubito. Thats just insane. When the ninetailes came to Konoha he shouldn't have been able to see Hiruzen move at all. Well thats just Naruto speed scaling i guess.

The Raikage can simply defeat Orochimaru using the Kohaku no Johei. I'm surprised you overlooked that. Ay could simply have Mabui teleport the tool to him or to another Cloud Shinobi to use against Orochimaru.
Raikage generally doesn’t carry that on his personal or use it in a standard battle, which was more so the reason, you are correct however.
Cloud village: the Amber Purifying Pot would be great for the edos cause they can still talk. Dauri could get the jar and just ask hashirama and tobirama to answer him, and they’d be sealed. Orochimaru’s world knowledge mean he probably knows all about it though so I do doubt it would work on himself.

The problem with the Orochimaru recovering by using snakes are the chakra requirements. He can't keep that up forever.
Also Raikage would call for the sacred ninja tools and he would likely have Bee as they are a team. And if we suggest bee wasn't in the barrier Bee would just neg the sound 4 and get in and help Raikage to fight. Also Darui is implied to be equal to Kakashi in the war. I would scale him Kabuto Kakashi hell every village top jonin (except Sand) seems to be around that tier.
Also Mei is being under-rated. I think her hax actually does a lot to limit what Orochimaru can do. Her mist was melting susanoo with ease. Madara had to block those attacks. Unless you willing to argue that Orochimaru durability/sustain is above Madara. She is extremely threatening and lethal. That mist alone is getting around anything Orochimaru wants to do. Now Mei won't flood anything because Orochimaru is a snake essentially he wouldn't be bothered by that. AO and Chojuro I think are much strong3r than people give them credit for being.

I honestly wish they did more with the sound village. The fact that orochimaru found a way to weaponized sound is amazing.
*Seeing how Naruto played out I can think of many ways the sound ninja and kimimoru could have lived long lives.
*The curse mark is basically a prototype Karma mark and if it was link to the Snake sage it would’ve been even better.
My two cents:
Vs Mist - Mei gets destroyed while Sand and Sound forces slaughter Mist forces. Even if they can use Hidden Mist jutsu, obscuring vision isn't much of a strategy against a village that uses sound-based attacks.
Vs Cloud - "A" can at least stall Orochimaru and the Edo-Kage while his forces demolish Sand and Sound. Yugito can either eventually defeat Gaara or Bee can practically one-shot him, then either one can go help tear down the barrier while the other slaughters the Sand and Sound ninja. Orochimaru has no true win-con here. The best he can do is weaken Cloud by killing "A" before retreating, and he needs to kill "A" fast. Not an easy feat.
Vs Sand - Orochimaru probably intentionally sets Gaara off before trapping Rasa in the barrier. Rasa can now only watch as his 'weapon' destroys his village while Orochimaru slaughters him. The Sound forces move in and mop up after the surviving Sand ninja either defeat Gaara or Gaara calms down and transforms back.
Vs Stone - Either Onoki can hit Orochimaru within the barrier or Orochimaru can eventually grind him down. My money is on Onoki either flooding the whole area with Jinton AoEs or just blasting away the floor until the whole building collapses.
Stone can at least delay the Sound and Sand forces until Onoki either kills Orochimaru/blasts his way out of the barrier, or until Han and Roshi kill Gaara and begin annihilating the Sound/Sand ninjas.
Again, as with Cloud, Orochimaru has no win-con. His forces and Sand can't overcome two trained adult Jinchuuriki, especially when Han's lava hard-counters Gaara's sand. The best be can do is blacken Stone's eye by killing Onoki, and that is a tall order.

Orochimaru my favorite Naruto character but that was a lot of what if vs the raikage. I personally see them fighting till they are both exhausted and orochimaru just leaves.

Keep in mind at the five Kage summit Ay admits to being terrified of Orochimaru to such a degree be violated jnternational accords to strengthen his own borders and began to obessively train to defend himself against Orochimaru.

Raikage straight up wins this pretty convincingly. TG's point about speed differences was a nothing burger if we're being honest, like sure Orochimaru is definitely no slowpoke but he's going up against the literal top candidate for fastest shinobi alive at that time. So no I don't think Orochi gets completely speed blitzed but he's definitely going to be struggling HARD to keep up. And as TG admits, lighting cloak is really really durable in relation to Orochimaru's firepower. He's admittedly durable himself due to his regeneration shenanigans but Ay has huge chakra levels relative to biju. So I really don't see any win conditions for Orochimaru here: he's going to struggle a lot to land anything on Ay, the few hits that might land aren't going to be enough to break the cloak, and eventually he'll run out of chakra well before Ay.
@@Gabe7Gal the grass long sword can probably pierce the lightning cloak tbh and he can also use the white snake any damage he takes will turn into poisonous fumes while I agree that ay is faster I feel like it's by only a tier so oro shouldn't have any problems for the most part until body flicker also raikage is all physically tbh idk if that type of shit can kill oro Tsunade is even harder hitting than at and oro eats them shits it's tough to say either side for me personally.

While I agree that Orochimaru would probably beat the Raikage in a 1v1 without a timelimit, I do think that his forces stand absolutely no chance against Kumogakure, especially since they have 3 Jinchuriki, to the point that they wouldn´t even be able to hold them off for long. Honestly I would say that the Raikage would probably be able to outlast Orochimaru until people like Darui and Bee just start assisting him and I mean at that point Orochimaru would probably just try to escape.

Really good vid man. I agree with nearly everything except I think Stone would be more difficult than the cloud outright, just because his chances for losing are so much higher. The battle of attrition with the Raikage will be like a walk in the park for Orochimaru, in comparison to Onnoki.

That was with a host body that had been rejecting him toward the end of his duration with that body.
I dont think there is a scenerio where Orochimaru will win against the cloud. Ay the 4th is comparable to his father if not stronger, the same man who is as strong as the 8 tail and fought 10000 shinobi for 3 days straight. In the worst case where Orochimaru summons the edo, all the Raikage has to do is keep fighting until Bee, Yugito, Darui and everyone else is done mopping the sound and then they can gang up on Orochimaru. I think its reasonable to assume that the 8 tail can break through the barrier and if not, they can still use the sealing pot to seal the edo and then the Raikage will just outlast Orochimaru. Orochimaru is slippery and strong but he doesn't have the same AP as the 8 tail or the stamina to fight for 3 days straight like the Raikage who has "biju" level chakra. At best, Orochimaru retreats after seeing how he couldn't possibly win against a Kakashi level Darui, 2 jinchuriki and the Raikage at once.
I actually want to see if the real Sasori fought Orochimaru and Kabuto on the Tenchi Bridge. Obviously Kabuto will destroy Hiruko in a suprprise attack and Orochimaru will still arrive, but this Orochimaru was very weakened (old body and can't use any Jutsus). Can Sasori beat this Orochimaru and Kabuto?
Orochimaru imo would actually get clobbered. His confidence is not a good assessment since Orochimaru has a terrible track record of picking his fights (He lost every major fight we saw him pick on screen).
Kusanagi blade is completely useless as the iron sand repels metal weapons with its magnetism, Orochimaru can use body replacement like…3 times before he taps out. Sasori fought one of the longest fights in Shippuden. Oro’s overconfident ass would’ve probably just gotten hammered by the iron sand over and over again until he runs away. I don’t think Armless sick Orochimaru can beat any of the Bijuu level Akatsuki members (Kakuzu Sasori Deidara and Kisame and above) and this is reinforced by Oro actually implying that he thinks Naruto took out Sasori (likely via 4 tails who he basically couldn’t do shit to 4 tails) and him sparing his life so he can hunt down other Akatsuki members.
There is also a chance he brings Deidara with him

I give the edge to Sasori but i believe Orochimaru had a trap set for him.I think Orochimaru was scared or at least wary of Sasori and this fight and prepared a backup plan for if he and Kabuto couldn't kill Sasori in their initial scuffle. The meeting spot was not far from his hideout where Sasuke was waiting for him. If Orochimaru and Kabuto ran luring Sasori to the hideout, there would be no way Sasori could stand against both Sasuke and Orochimaru, especially with Kirin possibly being a direct counter to Sasori's Iron sand and any other defence.

Against Mei, I am not certain hiding actually puts Orochimaru underneath the ground (it is sometimes depicted as flush with the surface) and thus he would still be exposed to the Boil Release vapour.
The Last novelization suggests Kumo may have actually developed the chakra cannon before the Blank Period.
Theoretically Orochimaru would bring the three previous Raikage to Kumoj since part of the reason he brought them was for psychological warfare.

Please a video and Ashura and Indra running the gauntlet of all the strongest characters in Naruto or how strong Indra would be if he got half of Hagaromo's power for the next! Fire video!

What about the Hidden Rain? Could make for an interesting scenario, Nagato and Orochimaru are familiar with each other without knowing everything about the other, and taking a city is far different than just two people crossing paths on the road. Sound Ninja 4 (no frog song, but we do have Chains of Phantasia), Kabuto, Kimimaro and/or Jugo could also be present since Orochimaru would know this would not be an easy fight, possibly Karin as well. Most of the village is just fodder, so it comes down to if Orochimaru can find a way to take out Konan with Nagato and The Paths of Pain, while in the Hidden Rain so stealth and recon are basically out.
If Oro tried this against the Rain Village, he’d probably get war flashbacks from either Hanzo or Pain.
I went back to reread the oro vs hiruzen fight and not once did he enter the ground. I believe while it's one of his jutsu, I don't think it's a match winner for him in this case.
For starters mei can cover the landscape in water or lava restricting his ability to enter the floor. This is also in character for her to do as opposed to oro who has only ever used that ability while fucking around. And it's only ever been used on vegetation not concrete tiles (which is in the anime).
As u mentioned vapour style is mei's best win con. I belie she uses this coupled with covering the battlefield in lava or water and oro melts pretty quickly. His only counter would be to use the edo tensei but it would at best give a double knockout. This is because mei's vaour style still sticks in the air even after she stops producing it. It's why she wanted to drop the ph to not harm the other kage rather than just releasing the jutsu. Even if the edo kage kill mei cuz she has no way to put them down permanently, oro would be a puddle by that time, (even if he uses the 8 headed hydra).
Also speed wise they should be comparable so there's no speed blitz argument.
Frankly, I think this battle is weighted more towards mei in an enclosed space. In regular open terrain oro takes it as he can get out of the vapour style cloud before he melts completely.
That's just my 2 cents. Good video nonetheless.

@@ThunderGodTG I personally stick more with manga versions of fights for consistency. Too many people flip flop on using anime scenes so I use only manga scenes to remain consistent.
But as I said even taking into account that he can enter the ground, mei can cover the ground with lava or water to prevent him doing that.
Agreed I just like the anime because it’s just an extension of a lot of what can be inferred from the manga even though it’s not the primary canon.
As far as covering the ground I think it’s debatable especially if you assume a similar area to the Hiruzen vid with some area needing to be open for Mei to stand on.

Obviously Oro hadn’t come to terms with killing Hiruzen at that point but with the other kage, I don’t see him have that issue

The biggest thing Orochimaru always has both against him and in his favour is the fact that the guy never showed his whole arsenal and never was shown fighting in his primer, whenever he was in his physical prime he lacked his strongest techniques and whenever he had his whole arsenal he either refsued to show it all (he was very overconfident all the time) or he could'nt use it; by the time he came back to life he was completely irrelevant to the story and showing his techniques was something Kishimoto did'nt care for. Unfortunately Sage mode Kabuto is'nt a good proxy to measure Oro's power, because Kabuto had 6+ diferent ninja cells in his body that amped him a lot (something Oro did'nt) and the perfect Sage mode is something Oro could've only done if he had landed his hands on a very powerful body before or after the war. So most of Oro's abilities are a down grade of Kabuto dragon sage mode, but similar in nature. We'll never known how many other useful techniques he had

The raikage and the cloud does win imo. Orochimaru does get fatiqued when using the snake style substitution. Oro has nothing really that can actually dmg ay, and the edo kage arent really a threat since ay should be faster than them and the same lack of ap can go for them.

Something I've always hated is that Hiruzen states that he doubts he could beat Orochimaru, but then pretty much stalemates with Orochimaru + an Edo Hashirama + an Edo Tobirama. Like Orochimaru didn't even join the fight and still basically lost. Without Edo would Hiruzen have fucking washed him? Was Orochimaru fatigued just from summoning the Edos? Did 99% stamina Orochimaru seriously lose his arms to a 1% stamina Hiruzen?

It’s pretty implied Hiruzen was having a protect the village mental amp + having resolved himself to die allowed him to push past his limits. Also most of their struggle was with the Reaper since Oro couldn’t use Jutsu, but Hiruzen didn’t have the strength to just blatantly rip his soul out.

That may have been bad wording I was basically say he’s only above or should be above Oro’s visuals with Body Flicker. Otherwise V1 isn’t an issue with V2 being a bit more questionable but, off of Tsunade shouldn’t also just be above him. He can still be faster this is strictly speaking about moving faster than Oro’s perception.

If Tsunade can watch, percieve, & comment on Naruto's & the Raikage's Speed Test in lower forms of speed he'll be aight. She actively comments in real time with their movement even when the Raikage is noted to be blood lusted. Suigetsu can also just blatantly intercept the Raikage in lower forms of his cloak as well, this is not limited to Sasuke.

What happened if Itachi fights Vollstandig As Nodt from Bleach? As Nodt's power is called "The Fear" which is basically fear inducement. In his Vollstandig, just by looking at him will cause you to have intense fear. If Itachi uses Tsukuyomi and looks at As Nodt while he's in Vollstandig, what will happen? Will both just collapse or will it cancel each other out?
I think AsNodt would fall under the genjutsu and be more affected in a shorter amount of time than Itachi who I also think will be affected by fear. The fear ability is more of a gradual increase as you realize what’s happening and AsNodt in character would explain what’s happening so Itachi would take heed to this. I think Tsukuyomi would be more intense and cause AsNodt to release or be defeated before Itachi succumbs to the fear

Orochimaru's chakra is talked about like Harshirama's cells are talked about.
In the Cloud Village - most likely Orochimaru would do to B what he did to the previous jinchuriki of the 8-tails - force him to lose control of the 8-tails and die. Without B - the 8-tails' relationship with the Cloud village would probably once again sour. If a fight starts and the Cloud has to subdue the 8-tails - after the fight when the Cloud is recovering - Orochimaru can attack then.
I think third hokage is very powerful but I don’t think he could beat onki and raikage at the point of the crush arc. I think when he was at the point of the nine tails attack he was at his peak. After that attack orchimario left the village (it was said he had enough power to destroy orchi). But he’s too old now. I think it was written that he’s “the strongest kage” because of his accomplishments and skill but during his prime not at his old age. He had respect of other villages and he’d still be a high level combatant.

Everyone likes to say that Orochimaru is weaker than Jiraiya, but the man was whooping both Tsunade and Jiraiya's ass simultaneously without any jutsu. Like seriously, what the fuck this man is so broken. And then everyone says, "muh JiRaIyA wAs DrUgGed AnD tSuNaDe WaS aFrAiD oF bLoOd", and it's like stfu. The drugs Tsunade had given to Jiraiya didn't effect him that much in the fight AND were basically worn off by the time him and Naruto reached the battlefield. Plus Jiraiya could still use jutsu, so could Tsunade. And all of this BEFORE he got massively stronger over the course of the rest of the show. Have you seen that man in Boruto? Dude is crazy strong.
One final thing to note is the fact that we have never seen Orochimaru use full power, at any time, in the entire franchise. He is always holding back or nerffed heavily.

Kumogakure has Bee, who was able to partially transform even against Minato back in the day and they have Nii Yugito and the 2 tails. Orochimaru loses here as well. Honestly, in part 1, Konoha is at best 3rd strongest. Statements can be wrong or just retconed. I guess Konoha, with Jiraiya and Tsunade actively there, Minato, Fugaku, Itachi and Shisui, they were tiers above the other villages. But, at the time of Orochimaru's attack, they were definitely not number 1. Honestly, the only reason why Konoha would have a hope for No1 would be Gai.
Orichimaru losing to itachi makes people doubt him. But itachi is like, a narrative hard counter to him.
