For my Minato boys, you could also argue he could reaper death seal with a shadow clone against the Third, however we don’t know if the shadow clone would be able to just rip it out with ease like against the Edo Tensei which had zero will or desire to fight back while Hiruzen did it, slight note I realized post upload

We don't know if the reaper death seal can be used in this way. It is possible that even if you use a shadow clone, you still die. But, Minato has a number of unknown sealimg jutsu that we don't know and that could be helpful so we can't roll out the possibility that he can beat the 3rd using them. Hopefully we will learn more in the upcoming spin off.

The Third Raikage gets downplayed very heavily because he 'stalemated' Gyuki and obviously Killer Bee and the Fourth Raikage are stronger. The issue with this downplay is that the Third Raikage was trying not to kill Gyuki so he could restrain him. He cut off literally EVERY SINGLE one of Gyuki's tails.
Problem with that is, so is the 4th raikage and so is killer bee, yet they do better against the 8 tails

When people say characters would trick the Raikage to use his Single Finger to attack himself it’s not feasible.
The 3rd Raikage was in bloodlust autonomous mode.
In character he considered his scar his greatest shame so he probably would need to be pushed where he feels it’s absolutely necessary to use higher levels of power.

@@ross.b8699 the logical explanation to that would be he got the scar when he was younger or when his armor was off say sleeping or distracted. They wouldn’t have direct knowledge so it’s very unlikely they build it just magically think that up.
Minato and tobirama are smart fighters. Tobirama could tag and mark raikage with FTG seal, then teleport away. Summon an edo, and create one shadow clone. Activate the tandem paper bombs technique mid detonation, and allow the clone to teleport the edo back to the third raikage. People forget that tobirama is a very creative and smart fighter, he will utilize ever strategy.

Also, edo tensei is a jutsu tobirama is known for using. This man can be a crazy bomber when he wants to. Also, Minato himself said he is bad at sage mode. If Minato can activate sage mode in 2 seconds, or is well at using it then he would have used it against young obito and ninetails. 👍 Sage mode is a struggle and a burden to Minato. @@maalikserebryakov how does sage minato even hurt the raikage under fair battle conditions the raikage wouldnt have the scar and without the backstory minato doesnt have a reason to believe that the spear is more potent than his armour and is unlikely to test it. Ma and pa isnt a sure bet either because it takes a considerable amount of time after they start singing for the genjutsu to work and the raikage is much faster than Pain was. the raikage giving chase to minato after he teleports away right after doing a summoning is too brain dead for the raikage to do to justify giving Minato the win
You guys saying that Raikage wins are insane. Yea Minato would have trouble with the lightning barrier, and it would take a lot probably, but at no point would the raikage ever land a hit on Minato. Minato doing small amounts at a time is better than the raikage doing absolutely nothing at any point.

Ain’t no way Minato doesn’t figure out how to use the third raikage’s jutsu against him like naruto did. Dude is arguably the smartest ninja ever. Even itachi and Kakashi couldn’t figure out kamui. It took konan years to prepare for it. And minato did it after seeing it a few times. I don’t see how minato doesn’t win. He doesn’t need attack potency when he can just use the thirds one jutsu against. It’s GG after that.
He needs to counter the right level of his finger justu though.
Naruto had the opportunity to counter the 1 finger version.
Minato can find something else, but automatic switch Naruto for Minato in a scenario is a bit lazy.

Itachi never had a chance to figure it out if he did he would have. He figured out how to break Edo which is a harder move to counter. Guy figured out kamui
and he has huge arsenal of sealing jutsu. Third has zero chance.

Minato's basic sealing jutsu should honestly be enough, considering he sealed half of Kurama with the eight signed seal. And tbh he could probably kill him given that SM Naruto's clone did breach the lightning armor and crack 3A's skin, so Minato could chip him down over time.

Really good video! In regards to alive Tobirama and his tandem paper bombs jutsu, given that there's a few statements in the series saying that it is his special move, it's basically given that he used this jutsu in conjunction with edo tensei when he was alive. So the way I see the fight going is him summoning a fodder edo tensei ninja, and using it as a way to use the tandem paper bombs jutsu. Also since he's nerfed in his edo tensei state, it's worth noting that any feat he displays whilst in edo needs to be slightly amped.
Also also, he has multiple feats which show he's got really got reaction time. Him being able to place 4 paper bombs on obito whilst being blitzed and him dodging the initial punch that Madara was going to throw on him. This being alive madara with sage mode. He can also make shadow clones who could each use water style and flood the area even more and has a large amount of control over it (he can get the water to grab someone and drag them in a water pool).
Yeah this generally encapsulates my thoughts, for his lower forms of paper bombs I’d say it might be debatable if they damage the Third but Tandem is a form GG
@@ThunderGodTG i do think tobirama to a degree can use tandem paperbomb while alive, but i just think all of his tandem paperbombs are on the level of the one he did against juubito, i doubt if he can do it at that level while alive, but at the same time i do think its still a powerful jutsu in its lower use

Kakashi is nowhere near Minato's KCM speed. The panels you show have been manipulated to give the impression that Kakashi and Minato ran toward zetsu to kill him, but if you read the entire sequence of panels, you will see that they were both already standing directly above Obito, when Zetsu was about to make an attempt to dip with the rinnegan.
Minato is the one with a speed feat earlier when he blitzes Kakashi after he emerged from Kamui dimension and tried to finish Obito off.

@ThunderGodTG I think something everyone forgets isn't that it's minatos base movement speed that made him the fastest as we blatantly see the 4th raikage outspeed him but it's his insane reaction time in combination with flying raijin that made him the fastest so it's feasible kakashi is an equal to minato in speed when not including flying raijin which is what made him the fastest
I do think that we have to consider the third Raikage being taken over by Kabuto which kinda limits him into an attacking robot soldier. Also being ordered to capture Naruto Like he also had the black lighting techniques he taught darui giving him ranged options which if he wasn’t controlled by Kabuto he might’ve used

@spit-fire you know what's crazy? The only Hokage who actually can beat 3rd Raikage is Tobirama. The reason being is his water jutsu prowess, it's a long shot but he could potentially drown 3rd Raikage.
We can't say Kakashi because Kakashi didn't have kamui when he was hokage. Obito took his eyes back.

Tobirama can easily use the special paper bombs and end the Raikage. Those bombs were strong enough to destroy Hashirama‘s sealing gates which were so durable that not even the ten tails bombs were able to destroy it

Minato can seal his chakra. He is heavily trained in sealing Justus and is fast enough to get to him and place the seal on him or place a seal on the ground and trick him into stepping on it.
I know right? 👏. Another point people forget is that Minato can seal lord 3rd inside kushina, temporarily. Or trap him in a toad stomach?👍

Solid video! I do think the third is a little overhyped, especially in terms of durability, but he is one of those upper tier Naruto characters for sure. I feel like an interesting topic could be him running the Akatsuki gauntlet. Maybe the 4 Edo Kage vs the Akatsuki could be pretty interesting too, though I do feel like that's kind of one sided. Maybe a couple more Kage could be added to the Edo team to give them a better chance.

Minato has sealing jutsu's that we have never seen so you can't roll out the possibility of him straight up beating the Raikage.

I swear, what sealing jutsus? I hate people saying minato is a master at sealing justus because kushina is an uzumaki even tho she went to the leaf as a child lol... Mean while the goat hashirama must have learned a ton of sealing jutsus with his wife and the uzumaki clan with no effort. He is the strongest kage in the verse. Naruto come close
@Andrew-px9fj never said he is a master and never said that Kushina is the reason he knows them. I said he uses them a lot. The flying thunder God technique requires a sealing jutsu. So he pretty much ALWAYS using sealing jutsu's when fighting.

You did a quality job, brother. & even though you touched on it already, I actually think Minato deducing the origins of the 3rd’s scar & figuring out he can use his own jutsu against him is not only not that that crazy, but highly probable. Bro figured out Kamui in no time flat when it took the rest of the series forever. I also think there’s almost no scenario where Minato actually loses. If things get dicey or he needs a moment, he FTG’s away, regroups, & bounces back. While the Raikage would be impervious to most of Minato’s arsenal, he’d also be unable to land hits on Minato which ultimately just gives Minato more time to theory craft. I don’t think it’d be strange for Minato to even have heard of the Third & his reputation before, which might lead him on to knowing about the “ultimate weapon” & “ultimate shield.” I personally think this battle goes on long enough for Minato to figure out he needs to use Hell Thrust against him & it’s a wrap.

This means it’s entirely possible that he’s heard about his “ultimate sword” & “ultimate shield.” Naruto was able to ask the question how he was able to be hurt if he had the ultimate shield. Minato is one of the most intelligent characters in the series. If Naruto can get his far as he did with a little push, Minato should be able to figure it out on his own. Plus he has all the time in the world to figure it out because it’s not like the Raikage should be able to tag him.

Only Hokage 3rd Raikage can beat Is Alive Minato and even that is Highly debatable. It is mainly because of Minato's lack of Ap feats and 3rd Raikage's Stamina 🙌
Others outright beats him. Every Hokage can react to him even if they don't have Raw movement Speed as him. They probably have higher Combat Speed too.
-Tsunade has shown Ap and Speed feats to put down 3rd Raikage.
-Hiruzen knows every Jutsu in Konoha and Tobirama Knows Countless Ones being Hiruzen's teacher and From statements.
-There is no reason to believe Hiruzen don't have Ap to breach it. Hiruzen with Enma can block and Counter any of 3rd Raikage's Movement. His Jutsus are Extremely Potent to Hold down 3rd Raikage. Like Shuriken Shadow Clones or Elemental Jutsus.
He can also Use 5 Clones and Perform 5 Different Jutsus at the same time Which Most likely will breach and Kill or extremely Damage 3rd Raikage.
Old Hiruzen is debatable due to him having less Chakra and Stamina. But he still could pull a Draw with Reaper death seal. And Yes , he can catch 3rd. He can make clones. All of them which are Directly Connected to reaper death seal. He can just let 3rd come to him and catch him. Even if he take a hit , He can tank it witj soem damage like he did with Edo Hashirama. 3rd can't see Reaper death seal as well.
Prime Hiruzen Wins without any doubt. Not only does he have the Statements , But also feats and Narrative.
Hiruzen don't have any kekkei Genkai. Judging by his Chakra at old age , His prime would have a Boatload or else him being that strong would not make any sense 🙌
- Tobirama is like better Alive Minato with way more Strong Jutsus. His water Style is Arguable but its Probably Sharp enough breach the Raikage's Cloak.
His Paper Jutsu if Landed or His Swordsmanship if Used in Sync with Flying Raijin and Nature changed Chakra Coating could possibly Damage 3rd too 🤷🏻
- Hashirama wins without any argument
Minato has MANY Uzumaki sealing jutsu of extremely high potency other than the RDS, in fact he didn’t even need RDS to seal away Kurama as Kushina stated. So sealing without him dying is his legitimate win con against the 3rd Raikage. I also definitely think Minato’s kunai would’ve just cut through the Raikage and I think it goes against what the author is trying to show. If Minato couldn’t even damage the 4th then he would’ve never been able to threaten him and Bee so much in combat. And to top it off he’s got one of the highest IQs in the series so I think he’d be able to come up with the same plan Naruto used to beat him but on his own.
Again I like what you gotta say. He could also teleport the riakage into any unfavourable situations minato could think of. Like under water, mid air, INTO a sealing trap of some kind. Barrier ninjutsu too.

@Jon Miller the one argument i see against this is minato might get damaged from touching the armor, but i dont think he would, as all he needs is one touch, and we know like people like suigetsu, who is hard countered by lightning style, is somewhat able to parry it or atleast do something against it, so minato who has lightning style granted not nearly to the same degree as 3rd raikage, with his chakra control he should be able to survive 1 touch to teleport him.

How interested would you be in doing videos on lower hax/tier matchups like say, Asuma vs Zabusa, or something similar to that, seeing how more basic things like how their weapons would interact?
Also, wouldn't Hiruzen have Enma who pushed back the Nine Tails out of the Leaf? Maybe that'll do something to the Raikage.
I would be up for some Gaara matchups.
He is not the craziest fighter, but he had some variety of moves in the war arc : flying, massive terrain usage, sealing justu, sense people with his sand, and his classic defense that is, let's say, decent against some kage level fighters.
He got beat up by Madara, but well, Madara is Madara.
Hidden mist jutsu will be useless here due to asuma’s wind release + he doesn’f have ro stay in one spot to guard tazuna like Kakashi did. He can just escape the mist too. So hidden mist is a complete waste of Chakra for Zabuza
As for their speeds, strength, chakra reserves.
Zabuza actually kept up with Kakashi, and pushed him hard.
We know Kakashi >> > Asuma.
So i just don’t see a way of Asuma keeping up with zabuza’s speed and strength.
I understand, but Its very obvious that tobirama did indeed put the paper bombs on jubito and marked him with FTG seal. If jubito was too fast for him then how did the FTG seal got on him. Tobirama was literally thinking five steps ahead. It was all apart of his attack plan. Even Minato in the manga after seeing how many things tobirama did in a really really quick moment said, "" the second is so fast "". Madara is hashirama's rival, and tobirama can move on par with hashirama. So it makes sense. Unstable jubito here was still faster than kcm 1 naruto, even naruto said , ""what , what happened "". Tobirama activated the regular paper bombs as his own way of distracting jubito, hashirama wasn't holding him down, he was simply adding to tobirama's distraction. Jubito could easily break out of a weak wood technique. If you read the manga carefully, you can see they were all moving really really fast, even with tobirama with great urgency telling the others to get away. So hashirama wasn't holding him down, it was just a distraction. However, tobirama had already distracted jubito with the regular bombs. 👍 Great video, i really did enjoy this one. Also, maybe gamabunta stomach might be able to contain the raikage for Minato. 👍✌
On Raikage v Raikage [They're both called Ay as well since that's how that works]...
I'm fairly sure that the Third is more power while the Fourth is more speed. The Fourth has never shown a strength or durability feat on the level of the Third's Hell Spear or tanking the Rasenshuriken. The biggest strength feat we've seen from him is the damage caused by the Liger Bomb, which... could crack a single rib of Sauske's ribcage Susanoo. The Fourth is just blatently weaker in terms of striking force than Tsunade [and remember; speed is a factor of striking force too making the Fourth's lack of strength even worse!]. To be able to do damage to Madara at all he needed an amp from Onooki. Tsunada could deal as much; if not even more damage, without aid. The five Kage basically decided their wincon was "get Tsunade to break the defence and stun him; then seal with Gaara". The Raikage's [And Onnaki's] job was basically to hit hard enough to merely pin for Tsunade.
And the thing is; the Third Raikage wasn't exactly slow either. He could react to KCM Clone Naruto; the same Naruto being able to narrowly dodge the 4th Raikage.
I think the 4th is just plain weaker than the 3rd. Like; what is the 4th's wincon? To Lariat the Third? Well; the Hell Spear has longer range than the Lariat. And due to the traditions of the Cloud; the Third MUST have the Lariat as well. But he chooses the Hell Spear instead; implying the Spear > Lariat.
Also; we've not actually seen how the Lightning Cloak interacts with water. Maybe it dissipates in water; being conducted throughout the water? In that case, if the third Raikage loses his amp in high amounts of water; maybe Tobirama could win with basically a drowning strategy. [Assumeing alive Third Raikage] or sealing him after stripping his cloak. I think Tobirama has a chance, depending on how Water Style interacts with the Lightning Cloak.

People never seem to talk about the difference between a normal shadow clone and Naruto's in the war, considering the fact he's making them with Kurama's chakra instead of only his own, if it's just a single clone that clone should be at least half as strong as Naruto using KCM and you could argue that same clone could probably solo fight every single member of the Akatsuki, it isn't an anti-feat if you need a clone that strong to take out an Edo Tensei, if anything it's more impressive since we know Naruto's clones aren't just his but a mix of his and Kurama's chakra then they should definitely be more comparable to him anyways, even if that half of Kurama's chakra was split into another half, that quarter portion of Kurama's chakra still is enough to destroy an entire nation's worth of people.
I actually dedicated a segment to that in this video, each clone takes the same amount of Kurama’s chakra meaning each clone should have access to the same amount as the original Naruto’s as it’s a fixed amount

I dont think people really understand how insanely durable he is sage naruto tried to hit madara with a rasenshuriken and madara had to activate rinnegan to absorb and said verbatim, "Too much energy." Meaning if it had hit home it might have done some serious damage. Yet a greater version of naruto in KCM tagged the raikage with it and it didnt do shit. Hell his hell stab did more to him and the naruto that fought madara was as far as i'm aware the exact same clone.
I think Minato could use sage mode vs the 3rd Raikage since he could drop off a shadowclone somewhere to get nature energy for him. With his massive battle IQ he likely would see 3rd eat rasengan after rasengan and start to wonder how he got his scar if he is that durable.
3rd Raikage haters will hate the 4th Databook quote. "With bare hands he once fought against the Eight-Tails. In the Fourth Ninja World War even Rasenshuriken has no effect against his steeled body."
That being said, the rasenshuriken did disable his lightning cloak. So depending on how quick he can put it back up, he would be vulnerable during that time with no cloak imo.
My only issue with that is that we see a base rasengan crack his arm unless I am misremembering the panel and I'm perfectly fine with him wrestling gyuuki as the fourth was able to do it without passing out
Apparently (what I've seen on youtube) reaper death seal pulls out of your opponent as much chakra as you have. Minato pulled half of kurama and we don't even know if that was his limit, since he had then enough power to seal the other half into naruto while also targeting half and half specifically.
So basically minato>half kurama>gyuuki.
This might sound odd at first, but it's consistent with the fact that minato was spamming left and right justus that require high level of chakra (like flying raijin, it takes those 3 high level jounin together to perform one).
Minato gets downplayed a lot in term of chakra reserves, but if what I said above is true he definitely had more than the raikage.
Then, his special kunai can cut through the eigh tails' tentacle like it's butter and he was confident he could kill the 4th raikage through his cloak (he was sure not only in the first exchange, but also after, when he teleported behind him... and Ai and Bee were sure he could do that too, since the best strategy they came up with was to stall minato.)
And that's not even mentioning that minato, even without intel, could try to use the 3rd's spear against him because that's honestly a good idea in itself and minato is a genius (probably the most intelligent character of the entire series, both for lore and showing... figuring and countering kamui in seconds is on another level!).
PS: Now, I know this sounds like a big wank for the hokage, but I don't think I've said anything particularly debatable... did I?! 🤔

Kushina states she taught Minato other sealing jutsu besides the tetragram seal, so Minato probably has other ways to seal the 3rd without the need for Reaper Death Seal.
Seeing as how Sage Mode Naruto in the war beat up Kurama, Minato (who’s much stronger in base) has the chakra to at least amp his rasengans or his other jutsu to the degree Naruto amped his. Especially since Minato can spam space-time ninjutsu which take huge amounts of chakra.
You did mention that there’s the possibility of him deducing the 3rd’s weakness, but I think it’s more probable than not. Characters comparable to Minato, such as Itachi and Tobirama can deduce their enemy’s weaknesses almost instantly (Nagato and Jubito). Minato figuring out that the Raikage may be able to damage himself seems a lot more likely when you take into account just how smart the people in Minato’s iq group really are.

Exactly like if you can give tobirama the benefit of the doubt that he could blow him up and win that way, why not give minato the benefit of the doubt considering minato lorewise is higher than both the 3rd raikage and 4th raikage and we see minato use that jutsu against the strongest bijuu and pulled out half its chakra

I think in this battle you should use prime Hiruzen and not old man Hiruzen as the 3rd Raikage was alive during Hiruzen's prime. Hiruzen in his prime knows every jutsu in konoha's arsenal including hidden jutsus like the Nara, Yamanaka, and other clan's jutsus and could include the flying raijin and edo tensei too although we've not seen him use those. I think prime Hiruzen can put up a great fighting against the 3rd and he has some jutsus in his sleeve that could bypass the lightning armor. For example the Yamanaka jutsu affects the mind and not the body maybe Hiruzen could use a clone and disrupt the 3rd's mind and his real body attacks him when the armor is down? I also wonder if prime Hiruzen has sage mode with his monkey summon. In overall I think Kishimoto was right in saying Hiruzen was the strongest kage in his time

Considering that a weakened version of Tobirama (Edo tensei) was able to react to Jubito already proves that alive Tobirama was assassinated right away. Like a stronger version of Tobirama can’t react to a direct attack from the 2 brothers or what?
That means there wasn’t even a fight from the start but a sneaky attack, otherwise Tobirama would have killed the brothers or escaped with teleportation.
By the way, Tobirama has the focused water beams that are ridiculously strong and definitely can penetrate the 3rd Raikage‘s armor. Either way he should win no difficulty, alive or not

Minato has mastered wind chakra nature. Hence his confidence in cutting down Ay.
Alive Minato at a glance understood the technique of the tailed beast bomb and created a brand new jutsu based off of it. He also without any foreknowledge, after having teleported ninetails bombs, figured how to no diff Obito. Literally every time he enters a battle he asks what his opponent’s jutsu’s downside is. I think he’s deduce how to lill him pretty quick. Also we don’t see it but we know Minato has other powerful Uzumaki sealing jutsu that might just low diff if he is trying to seal an edo.
Please correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Tobirama specifically create the Edo Tensei as a suicide bombing jutsu? This to me strongly implies that he could use the paper bombs even on bodies summoned by him, not just himself as an Edo. Can't remember how his jutsu exactly works and he also never used it outside of being an Edo, but it's the logical conclusion to me.

They cut that whole part out in the Anime unfortunately pertaining to Orochimaru. Idk why they decided to retcon this but yeah

The thing about Hiruzen is he was able to stop Yamato controlled Zetsu whom was soloing the shinobi alliance with the 5 kage (a feat which you could argue is at least Madara levels since Madara did the same thing) so I would at least scale Hiruzen above the 3rd and I think that validates the statement of him being over 3rs Raikage
I had a bit in the vid where I had Edo Hiruzen - but Edo Hiruzen is so different from alive since he can just spam large scale jutsu with 4+ Clones, he can't replicate those same feats alive due to his old age and dwindling chakra reserves

The Third Raikage is stronger than: the Sannin, all the Akatsuki (except the ones that have dojutsu...well, he could kill sick Itachi) and all the 5 Kage in the War.
But after the Minato one shot he could have an opportunity, his Rasengan Match Kurama's bijuu bomb. The only one that equal that power was Hashirama. But at the en Minato ended up in the hospital meanwhile Hashirama grabed the tail beast bomb and told Madara: "eat this".

Didn’t the 3rd raikage get hurt by one of Temari's attacks in the manga? I don’t know about the anime, but in the manga when we see him, he’s regenerating damage from one of temari's attacks, so why wouldn’t a rasengan work?
That's just in his base form, in his base form he would get slammed by a rasengan which is possible if minato can overwhelm the lightning claok

So just quickly reread those chapters, when Naruto pushes the 3rds arm with his rasengan, on the panel when the rasengan connects, the 3rds arm appears to get cracked, so I think it’s definitely possible for Minato to be able to overwhelm the lightning cloak. But I think he would probably be able to figure out the 3rds weakness before that point. Can definitely see the fight going both ways, guess the fights conclusion just goes to whoever you prefer.
Guy (7gates max) and war/pain arc kakashi vs atakaski duos please
they slap the zombie duo, god and angel duo and the artist duo, but the traitor duo are a problem specifically because of matchup even though i think pain is superior to kisame, i think pain just get pull down a little because his arsenal at this point is very well known by war arc kakashi and guy,as we see with sage naruto having intel on pain is a very huge advantage, konan while strong is just a little above base sannin level and when it comes to kakashi shes very outhaxed, and with kakashi has all the intel,
guy wont run out of stamina tryna figure out pain to begin with, guy would just run through them as a result.
but with kisame and itachi, the only issue with itachi is he is sick, so if its pain arc kakashi with 7gates guy, they gets murdered by the traitors, but war arc might high diff take it because kisame might still take a win with samehada.
War arc? None of the Akatsuki wins other than Tobi and probably Itachi. Kakashi and Guy wipe Sasori, Deidara, Kakazu, Hidan, Kisamé, Konan, and I’d argue Kakashi’s seen tendo and knows his game, 7th gate Guy might be enough by himself tbh.

The fight between Minato and the 3rd lasts as long as it takes for Minato to figure out a way to defeat him. There really is nothing that the Raikage can do to Minato. He isn't fast enough for the Flying Raijin. If you don't believe that he wouldn't eventually figure it out, he was able to defeat Obito in about a minute. The Raikage wasn't able to clearly defeat 8 tails, and it is implied that Minato could have defeated the Kurama, but wanted to put the 9 tails inside Naruto. Like with the Raikage, Kurama wouldn't be able to do much against Minato and Minato has many other sealing Jutsu's other than the reaper death seal if Flying Raijin isn't enough to blitz Kurama.
One thing: yes, Naruto kinda beats him but it wasn't like in a real fight. I wonder if Naruto would have won against alive A. Against the reanimated version, he won due a tactical "blow", not by defeating him like destroying the body's of pain just to say

Now that I think about it, what is stopping Tobirama from using Tandem Paper Bombs on a Shadow Clone? He has enough chakra to theoretically spam a hundred or more shadow clones considering he’s a Senju, the volume of his Water Style Jutsu and the fact FTG requires a decent chunk of chakra each use (probably variable based on the mass of transported objects & the distance travelled).
P.S. I didn’t think much about water styles’ unique way to bypass durability by drowning opponents. It might be in the top 2 of Nature Styles
The bombs are a utilization of dust manipulation via Edo Tensei so he can do it a live but, it seems unlikely that a shadow clone would be durable enough to carry the bombs inside him. His water style is pretty potent he has a chidori like equivalent with his water spear which is nutty.

Water clones could potentially work, my personal opinion is that he just does it himself and Teleports out as Hiruzen has seen that jutsu but, he could have also just seen it with the Edo Tensei Combo so who knows. It's not inconsistent for Tobirama to use clones either though for explosions like against Obito so I suppose it's entirely possible.

I do think Tobirama, while alive, used the Edo Tensei of his dead soldiers on the bodies of captured enemies to win battles using Tandem Paper Bombs and that's how young Hiruzen witnessed it.
The fact it was never explicitly stated he could use the jutsu with clone variants is significant cuz it seems more convenient to pop out clones & blow them up than it is to set up Edo Tensei (specially cuz of his large chakra pool, likely superior to the 3rd & 4th Raikage and relative to Minato's); which makes me think he couldn't, just as a means for the author to nerf such a potent jutsu.

So something I didn’t note in the vid is that SM Naruto actually does crack and break the Raikage’s arms when he hits him with his basic rasengan variant.
Which essentially means that someone with an arguably weaker rasengan can have a direct impact on the Third’s cloak, that mixed in with a small portion of Minato’s chakra suppressing the nine tails even though Kushina was helping, if minato didn’t actually have some sort of relativity to the chakra he was suppressing the nine tails would have run rampant.
So just Minato’s rasengan generally being stronger + something’s I neglected when analyzing the fight.
i might have missed your explanation of it, but why use war arc kakashi? He was not hokage then? He had a different move set as a hokage. It is stated in a lite novel that kakashi is apparently stronger as the hokage than in the war arc. overall, these videos are tough to make though. The writers of Naruto made things difficult at times because they jus through statements out about someone's strength with no scaling. so it is hard to judge. and i think fans jump to too many conclusions when doing so. but, decent video anyways
yall ninjas trippin if you think third Raikage beats Minato lol JK. Dude has the flying raijin, is a perfect sage, has access to 9 tailed chakra mode, has shadow clones in conjunction with reaper death seal (if applicable), Minato was also an adept sensor, able to detect chakra signatures from great distances, he had large chakra reserves, able to summon Gamabunta, as well as teleport multiple massive targets like a tailed beast and their attacks. His chakra control was very refined, evidenced by him being the creator/inventor of the Rasengan and his ability to weave hand seals with only one hand. Then there's his intellect, Minato was a very keen-minded individual, having the highest scores in the history of the Chūnin Exams written test. Even at a young age, only he of all the ninja sent to rescue Kushina, noticed the trail she left behind to mark her kidnappers' path and in combat, he could correctly deduce the basic mechanics behind a technique after seeing it only once, and from there plan around its strengths and weaknesses to his or his allies' advantage. Now im not saying Minato stomps here but i feel comparing minato to the fly in the "fly vs trex" analogy is simply wrong and i think through feats and lore also he should scale above the third but thats just my opinion.
Fir some of the fights i just wanted to say:
1. Third hokage vs raikage - i give to raikage because he can outlast hiruzen, hiruzen cant damage him and lacks the stamina to beat him in endurance.
2. Minato (alive) vs Raikage alive or reanimated - i give to raikage as minato doesnt have the attack potency, reaper is a draw and the make raikage dmg himself is a second option but out of 10 fights id give the raikage 7/10, as the raikage can keep going till minato runs out of chakra and cant teleport. reanimated minato vs raikage - minato wins easy like said in the video.
3. Tobirama vs raikage (alive raikage) - tobirama is one of the smartest characters in the series with all chakra natures so can easily counter and has many potential options, unlike minato, and also has the option to force his own attack on him too. and if tobirama is fighting the reanimated raikage... well as madara stated a counter to the jutsu is if you know the hand seals, which madara knew himself because he saw tobirama use it, tobirama would just uncast the jutsu lol and the raikage would vanish.

You do realise that in Hiruzen’s original reign as 3rd Hokage, he was recognized as the strongest Kage, which was at the same time as the 3rd Raikage’s reign right?
I love your videos man but it’s stated in cannon material that Hiruzen was the strongest of the 5 Kage during his time as Hokage. Which means we have cannon material saying Hiruzen is stronger than the 3rd Rikage. Which by default means Minato and Hashirama also are stronger than him. Tobirama and Hiruzen u could debate so maybe u can debate Tobirama vs the 3rd Rikage but as far as Minato, Naruto, Hiruzen, and Minato there is no debate. They r stronger than him based on cannon material saying as much.
That was for Old Man Hiruzen and is only in reference to 4th Raikage as was the current Kage, if you want to say a more prime Hiruzen would stomp I absolutely guarantee. In terms of old man Hiruzen being stronger just isn’t enough as there’s speed and stamina issues at play. The Hiruzen alive at the time of third should be above him as he’s VASTLY above the Sannin tier at that point.
Just because a character states something doesn’t necessarily make it true. You have to take in account actual feats and powerscale by comparing other fights.

I may have missed something, but you really didn’t take Minatos battle IQ. I may have missed the battle IQ of the third raikage. But my biggest issue is that I haven’t heard anything about IQ regarding the third raikage. This could be my ignorance, but like shikamaru, smarts is definitely a win condition and seeing as how Minato was one of the smartest shibobi in the leaf that definitely matters (from what I understood, minato is smarter than kakashi). He didn’t have the same info Naruto did when he fought the third raikage. But I feel like he may have been able to figure it out before he sustained a significant blow.

Third raikage no diffed the Eight Tails, and sliced through his tentacles like a butter through a raw sausage. Also, note that its a piercing motion. So minato simply can’t block it. He will literally explode in a pool of gore if the third raikage lands even one hit, which he eventually will due to Minato running out of chakra.

I think the 3rd Raikage is strong, very strong but can get overhyped personally. Same with the 4th Raikage. The most consistent scaling is that they are relative to the Beyond Sannin (aka Sannin in their enhanced states) which albeit is strong since Base Sannin is the seen as the bare minimum entrance for being a Hokage candidate and Base Sannin is essentially stronger than every Kazekage (until Gaara in the war & after), Mizukage minus Gengetsu and maybe Yagura (Chojuro too for Boruto era) with the Raikage and Tsuchikage having relativity lore wise. The Raikage 3rd and 4th I would say have at high ball relative scaling to KCM Naruto (still weaker which in my opinion I believe Killer Bee > OG KCM Naruto) and that early war arc Sage Mode but a more safe and consistent scaling is beyond Sannin which is probably just a level below that Naruto (like Pain arc Sage Mode)
The thing is while in a styles matchup, really only Naruto, Hashirama, Kakashi in the war and after can legitimately defeat just off styles matchup with every other Hokage being debatable like in the video.
Now LORE wise, Naruto eclipses that level with KCM for the most part and FOR SURE initial KCM2. Hashirama in base like you said is at a level stronger than that era Gokage. Tobirama and Minato alive or Edo really have good showings alongside a powered down EMS Sasuke and Mastered KCM (stronger than initial KCM2) Naruto with KCM Minato ~ Mastered KCM2 Naruto. War Arc Kakashi is clearly above OG KCM Naruto and towards the end rivals 1 arm Minato. Prime Hiruzen we know is ahead stated to be the strongest Kage of his lifetime. Even an older in Prime Hiruzen would’ve ALWAYS been stronger than 3rd & 4th Raikage, 3rd Kazekage, Rasa, Onoki, 3rd Mizukage & Yagura. Even Old Hiruzen would’ve been stronger. Edo Hiruzen given end of chapter statements about the 4 Hokage should just be at that Mastered KCM level as well, for sure above OG KCM Naruto.
So really you have Tsunade and Old Hiruzen who are even relative lore wise to what the Raikage are with the others stronger clear cut. Didn’t include Danzo cause I don’t believe without hax he’s at Sannin level and even with hax, while he’s Kage level, he may just be at the Base Sannin level and for me that’s highballing it. I think the Raikage would destroy Danzo

We don't know how strong the kazekages are because we haven't seen him in combat, but gaara is easily the second strongest of the 5 war kage, with only Onoki being stronger. Also base sannin is easily stronger than 3rd Raikage. Jiraiya was strong enough to take on the 6 paths of pain as well as kisame and itachi at the same time. Each of which are much stronger than the third.

Jiraiya literally said in SAGE MODE with TWO perfect toad sages on his shoulders continuously drawing nature energy in for him that if this fight drags out he’ll be KILLED. That was against 3 paths only. THREE! Base Jiraiya, although he was trying to bring out sage mode, was having trouble with just the animal path who alone could cause damage to the village akin to that of Orochimaru in part 1 alone.
Jiraiya at no point took on Kisame and Itachi at the same time. The minute he came, they left. We find out later why with Itachi really just saving face and keeping tabs on Sasuke. It all checks out from him finishing Kakashi quick but not kill him, force Sasuke to hate more, seeking more power and ensure to Danzo that yes he was still alive and just cause Hiruzen died doesn’t mean he can do whatever he wants.
Sure, I think Base Sannin > Base Kisame easily and Peak Sannin >= Fused Kisame and would most likely win consistently given there even weirder hax.
As for the Gokage during the war, sure you could say that although the four are all pretty relative with Onoki having the experience and best jutsu, Tsunade having the best strength and healing factor, Raikage speed and Gaara the sealing and support. It does also change throughout the war. I believe Gaara gets stronger and has better showings later in the war.
Lastly, I have no idea what made you think the Base Sannin are stronger than the 3rd Raikage? None of them having anything in there arsenal IN BASE to damage him. He essentially tanked and cancelled out a rasenshuriken (it took him out of his lightning cloak but it’s supposed to as wind beats lightning) from OG KCM Naruto. Bruh what are the base Sannin doing?

minato actually might have seals to take care of the 3rd raikage before he loses to it, but i will admit that we never saw minato full arsenal of sealing to know if he could, but we know that kushina was adamant that minato could have handled ninetails without the reaper, considering 3rd raikage is only 8tails level and minato was facing the ninetails, you can just say minato would seal him, and its only onscreen we saw minato use the jutsu on a full ninetails not anything lower else obviously minato would have died earlier and not become hokage, and it does make sense minato would have ways to deal with the 3rd based on the fact he was so threatening to the 4th raikage,the 3rds son.
