This was magnificent! Truly a BC moment…Thanks for sharing with us all the wondorous views. The Canon in D was surprisingly perfect! Please share far and wide!
Lovely, thanks for taking the time to do this, and to edit and present it. Very much enjoyed. - I've enjoyed filming from your ship while underway in revenue service, but this here is a unique experience that most of us regular guys will never see....except from your video. Thank you very much for this.
Always wonder how do they get those blocks under the ship? If brought into a full of water drydock, they drain dock, but how do those things get under the hull to hold it up?
So how long does it take to drain or fill the pit? how do they paint the areas that the ship sit on when it comes time for that? Very cool tour (Before Vic Ship took over the Munroe Head land site by the CFFSA, I worked in the Steal yard there for DND.)
Hello Capt Keith. I am just wondering how I can obtain a copy of this from you. My husband Jim Milne is the General Manager at the EGD and would like a copy if possible.
Capt Keith Great, I just relayed the message. It was great that you were able to do this video. Not many people think of doing it, so your hindsight was great. Have a good day
Just around the rudder and the bow prop tunnels where cavitation is great. The rest of the hull is protected by an impressed current cathodic protection system.

That was awesome! How did the tug get out of the dry dock? There didn't appear to be much room on either side of the ship.
There was enough room for this tug to exit. Sometimes with the bigger ships they use a smaller tug and lift it out with the heavy lift crane.
This is pachebel cannon...why the marriage song?
