@@dannyp4124 Yela is far from mainstream and DEFINITELY not an industry rapper. He was lucky to have the freedom under the shady umbrella for most of his releases to do what he wanted. Mainstream is more of radio play, which YELA is not radio play on 95 percent of his music. Jelly has label backing and has been signed with hyptonize minds as well as strange music, bad apple, war dog and Phixieous- now more Jelly and Struggle Jennings on their own and Jelly has done some independent work, but jelly has been around large labels and musicians for a long time. He just also never hit the radio play, mainstream portion of the world. Now Yela is out on his own off label and doing his own work and production, free from shady records and now using interscope I believe under his own type of label for slum doggssss. BOTH ARE PHENOMENAL though which is what matters.
