The ps vita is still going strong in the modding community. Once the switch 2 comes out and they deprioritize security on the old switch, the moddding will blow every other modded handheld out of the water.

I bought lite a month ago. Got Zelda, Prince of Persia, and Pokemon. 3 amazing games on an amazing console. The switch 2 is coming early next year. Save $200 and get lite instead of oled, unless you really want to connect to tv, but i use pc for tv play. Lite is perfect handheld device.

I like the form factor, but the problem with Switch Lite is how Nintendo handles when you have more than one Switch models; it drives me nuts that one of the console has to be online all the time. So I just have one Switch that does everything, the OLED model.

You'll never know when the switch 2 will be released. Can you wait? Would you regret buying the switch if 2 was announced? Which games do you want to play? Only you can answer that. You can sell the switch when 2 comes out to get back some of the money.

The drift can be fixed permanently with the Gullikit hall effect sticks, since they're hall effect they'll never have drift
