In contrast to janette mccurdys book and the whole dan schneider situation it’s healing to see that kids shows can be made in a way that’s healthy and fun for young actors

Who knew that all it took was a decent adult who cared about the kids enough to make a show that was also enjoyable for the actors (and who didn't just see them as things to take advantage of), huh? In both cases, the first thing ppl mention is the director, but for totally different reasons

I binge-re-watched Ned's recently and it honestly HOLDS UP. I was worried that, like many things from my 2000's childhood, I'd go back and find it was filled with outdated misogynistic jokes that make me cringe, but it was always such a respectful and uplifting show!
I didn't know Lindsay went through so much addiction, I'm so happy to know she was able to get through it and get support and love from her friends. Also shoutout to her for not wearing shoes through the interview. Get comfy, girl, you've earned it.
