I don't recall ever seeing a sunset accompanied by fog. Love it. I thought it was wildfire smoke at first. Love the fog/sunset combo. 👍

A beautiful and dreamy city
I was born and raised in the South Bay area of San Diego in National City. When we were kids we would take the trolly down to IB. I learned how to surf on that beach and got pretty decent at it. I snuck out my dad's SCUBA gear one time and did a surf entry. It didn't work out so well and I was stuck with all that gear to carry home. Lol! After I turned 18 I actually SCUBA dived for real up and down the coast and at sea. My dad fished out of just about every public boat launch and bay off San Diego. We had boats from bass boats to cabin cruisers. Got to see the ocean inside and out. Good times growing up. I used to love to surf all day and then go in to Mr Ts pizza or the fish and chips place at the end of the pier. This was in the 80s and 90s. I remember right after Christmas of 1979 a big tropical storm hit the coast and took put the pier. The ocean rose up and flooded Imperial Beach. I miss it there.
Lived in Imperial Beach from 1970-73. Absolutely loved it.
This was one my favorite beaches in San Diego. I miss California so much

I still live here. You arent missing anything. Polluted water you cant swim in, homeless all over, BLM writing commie crap all over the sidewalk. Etc
I live close by to IB, I don’t think it’s the prettiest place but it’s relaxing.

This beach has a fancy and rich name, but from the look of it, it's pretty fair.
With this fog, the sky melted into the water :) They became one. But it's still looks beautiful cause nature is best to amaze us.

Literally the least liked beach town in San Diego. Not to mention the ocean is filled with sewage from Mexico almost all the time.
